I tell my students Taekwondo students about how clumsy and I coordinated I am, and they never believe me because on the Dojo floor I’m one of the most talented people there

when i was in highschool, i was always chosen to be the goalie. i didn't know how to properly defend (though the goals were smol) i would just throw myself in the ball's trajectory without any self-preservation, which was incredibly effective but i got lots of bruises because bois have no mercy.

Even to other boys they don't give any. I speak from experience

im weak. in dodgeball games, i would be the assist in collecting the balls and passing it on to the players in front because my arms were so weak that i would practically just be passing the ball pathetically to the opponents if i tried to hit one.

Lol I can throw, (I have the strength, but not the aim) just it doesn’t go where I want it. Once we were playing instructors vs. students - dodgeball at Taekwondo, as a game, I was the last instructor left - I hadn’t thrown a ball- I stepped back and fractured my foot I still lasted another 45 minute class before I left for the day
