Quill Pal Partners: Edward Edwards & Steve Falenwolfe
Dear Mr. @Steve Falenwolfe,
Hi! My name is Edward Edwards, I have been assigned as your quill pal partner! I am a first year Huff Puff here at Hogwarts. I haven't really owled someone before, so don't judge me if it's a little... Bizarre. My Name is Edward Edwards What's your favorite subject? What house are you in? Also how old are you? Do you like movies? I love cinema! A lot of the time I like to act as my favorite Characters or at least similar to them... I really like old movies too, especially if they are in black and white (monochrome). Do you like Radio TV shows, if so which one? My favorite is Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar played by Heidar Saremi. It's really good, what some of the things you want to be or do when you grow-up? I want to be a reporter, a cop/investigator, a pilot, an actor, and may be a soldier... When I lived in Florida we lived next to this veteran, his name was George Frank, (but of course I just called him Mr. Frank.) he had fought in the Vietnam War, he was really cool and nice, he actually taught me Vietnamese! (He was the translator of his quadrant.) Before we left to go back to England, he gave me his battle helmet... I still have it of course, it's still a little too big though... But yeah, I can't wait to learn more about you and receive your owl back!
Warm Regards,
Edward Edwards

Greetings, @Edward Edwards
Hallo. When I first read your letter, I was shocked to say the least. I did not... Expect you to write so soon. I am a First year Gryffindor - so I am eleven - but I wish I was in Ravenclaw. I have never written to another person before, but I hope this is going to go well. In Russia we never really watched movies, and we didn't in Wales, either. You want to be a soldier, too? Same here, actually. If we didn't leave Russia, I would have been able to join the Army when I came of age.
But NOOOO my father wanted me to go to this... School. But I'm not enjoying it. I would rather be in Russia where I belong. People always say things about us - saying we are monsters and things like that. It gets annoying after a while, and I am tired of it. People don't like Russians, that is obvious. What is it about us that makes them... fear us.
Sorry For The Rant,
Steve Falenwolfe
P.S. It was nice writing to you.

Dear Mr @Steve Falenwolfe
That was quick! Raven's claw? That's cool, glad we're the same age too! Since we're both beginners that's good, in both in Hogwarts and in Owling. What a coincidence we both want to be soldiers? Yeah, I understand the moving, I used to live in America, I miss it sometimes even though I've been living in England for around 2-3 years? My mother was english, and my father was american. I just try to think of it as a adventure, I do want to travel the world one day... Your father probably wants the best for you, adults have a weird way of showing stuff like that. By the way, I don't think you're a monster.I think it's cool your a russian, don't listen to what other people say, ya know? I think it has something to do with the history between Russia and the rest of the world? I say past is past, people are stuck in it. (Though I do love some history books. I prefer the outside though.) By the way do you have any pets? I wanna get a lizard soon, by the way that's actually one of my nicknames! One of my nicknames is actually Gator, because... I lived in the swamps of Florida, how I talk, and because the way I act. What about you? No problem, rant on as much as you like! (I rant too, who knew how similar we would be?)
Warm Regards,
Edward Edwards

Yeah, what a coincidence. What type of soldier would you like to be - Demo, Sniper, Rifleman, or Support? I'd rather be a Support gunner, because they get the most kills, although their job is the most dangerous. But Marksmen - Snipers - are very good. They cover their comrades by eliminating the enemies that are farther away. Demo guys blow up the enemy armor and buildings. Riflemen is self-explanatory.
I am glad that someone thinks I am not a monster. People treat Russians like scum the moment they realize that we are Russians. And my father...
No, I don't have any pets - although I wish I had a snake, or a cat. You know those big Savannah cats, right? That's the type that I would like. They aren't as large as some other carts. They're more or less like a lynx - a bobcat.
Have you ever seen a bear in Florida? We have them in Russia when the hunters don't kill them all. Some of them are actually quite friendly - and Jack had to kill a big male one time 'cause he tried to attack one of our hunting dogs.
Speaking of hunting, have you ever been hunting by any chance? I actually don't mind it as long as the animal isn't endangered or something like that - it helps me practice my aim. And that is actually quite fun.
Sincerely,
Steve Falenwolfe

Dear @Steve Falenwolfe,
Probably a marksman, a pilot, or an on field medic if honest. Cool pet choice by the way! No I've never seen a bear in Florida, but I have have seen a gator, hawks, snakes, iguanas, turtles, and even armadillos. I've never hunted before, I guess I would do fake targets though. That's a crazy story by the way! Woah! I bet you have great aim.... I'm not sure about mine?... What else do you enjoy doing? Do you like movies by chance? And what do you think about pirates and sailing on the sea?
Warm Regards,
Edward Edwards

I've never been in a boat, and the open water scares me. My family went fishing off a pier once, and I caught a shark. It was so freaky! On the other hand, I do like a good movie, although we never watched many at home. What type do you like? I like those action ones about World War Two - such as Midway and Dunkirk.
By the way... How much about World War Two do you know? I am very interested in the subject - ever heard of the battle of Midway? What about the battle of Stalingrad? I am very interested in all of them.
Sorry for the bringing up of ugly history,
Steve Falenwolfe
