Oh no, oh no, oh no, Gwen thought as she went around, bringing destruction to her common room as she looked for Aeluin, her cat. She had recently gone missing, and Gwen had found that the reason was that her dorm door hadn't been closed shut, and Aelu (as she had taken to calling her), had happily scrampered out.
After hours of looking, Gwen had finally decided to go check the fourth floor corridors for her beloved catto. It would be incredibly sad if she couldn't find Aelu... she'd spent most of her student savings for that little creature, and she would be extremely bored without her. Hogwarts was a very big place- Gwen probably could look for a week and find Aeluin, but if she had somehow gotten outside and ran- that would complicate things. If only she could just "accio Aeluin!" away all her problems. She didn't dare, though, since she was not a very skilled spell caster and woud probably end up splinching her poor cat.
With no other choice, Gwen roamed around the corridors in search of Aelu, thinking about what would happen if the cat had jumped out a window until she saw a girl, presumably a first year, walked into her peripheral...
