Tesla smiled as Bailey called Colin one of her closest friends. She had so much in common with him and had so much fun talking with the Slytherin she hoped she could consider him a close friend someday as well! She was slightly shocked by the enthusiasm with which Bailey spoke about Kim, thinking back to figure out if she'd actually met him and just not realized it. Considering she wasn't in any clubs, she doubted it. Her interest was definitely piqued as Bailey called him the Prince of Sweets and mentioned always carrying food herself. There was no better reason for her to want to meet someone than for a snack!

"I'll have to meet him sometime! I'm not in any clubs yet, I wasn't sure what I wanted to join. What clubs are you a part of? Maybe I'll join some of the ones you're in if you think they're fun!" Tes shifted from foot to foot briefly as she paused, hesitating before asking, "You don't happen to have any food on you now do you? It's okay if not! I could go for a snack, but I could always go for a snack if I'm being honest." If Bailey had food on her at this very moment, Tes would consider herself even more lucky for having met her, beyond the convenience of finding Twinkle's owner.

"So far classes are just fine. I'm not really one for studying, but they're not that bad! Just a bit boring is all. So far my favorite is probably charms! The spells are all super useful which is great, it makes it feel a bit more like there's a point to going to class. Oh! Or Flying is really fun! It's super fun to get to soar around the sky and feel so free," she grimaced at the thought of History of Magic and the essay inevitably waiting for her in her dorm, "I don't like the classes that have a lot of reading in them, I'd much rather be outside running around than cooped up studying. What's your least favorite class if History of Magic is your favorite?"

Bailey grinned at Tesla at the mention of her dear friend @Colin McCoire and tesla grinned back. They seemed to be bonding over their love of spending time with the eager and loveable snek.
Bailey grinned wider when tesla mentioned having to meet @Kim Sato sometime - Tesla knew one of her best friends and had just expressed interest in meeting her best friend!!! What was there not to be excited about?
Bailey is not one of those girls who got jealous when other people wanted to meet her friends - she actually was eager to share the lovely people in her life!!
Tesla mentioned not being in any clubs yet, which Bailey understood. Tesla then asked what clubs Bailey was in - this made bailey grin. She was in practically every club there was. "I am in almost every club, as is Kim" Bailey started, and then she continued.
"But I'm the president of the Peaceful Mind Club, and the Martial Artists Club. I am the co owner/ruler of the Goosebumps club, and i might end up taking over the Nature Lovers - or is it the Animal Lovers Club? too. I love all of my clubs, and I can send you an owl later with a list of ones I think you’d like. I feel like you have similar interests as a few people I know, including Coco- sorry Colin, and that will help me narrow it down!"
Bailey smiled when Tesla asked if she had any snacks. “Of course I do! One moment…” bailey said rummaging through her bag. She pulled out a bag of chocolate chip cookie.
“I have these chocolate chip cookies Kim and I made, and I’m sure there’s something else in my bag if you don’t like or don’t want cookies!”
Bailey offered the bag to Tesla, for her to accept or decline.
Tesla mentioned the classes being a bit boring. Bailey smiled, and comforted the girl, saying “Don’t worry- the classes get a lot more interesting after you get through the introductory period. Then you start leaning stuff and doing and applying it- it’s so much fun!!”
Bailey laughed when Tesla mentioned disliking all of the classes that included reading.
“I’m the opposite- I’m a lover of books- I know how stereotypical Ravenclaw of me- and all the classes that have reading are some of my favorite. My least favorite class is probably flying… I’m clumsy and so the coordination I lack. At least I lack it off of the dojo floor- because Taekwondo needs coordination and I’m great at Taekwondo- but walking? Nah I trip over my own feet a lot!”
Bailey smiled, and took a bite of one of the cookies.

Tes's eyes widened as Bailey started listing the clubs she was in- and it was only some of them! She didn't know what it meant to be the "ruler" of the Goosebumps club, considering she'd never heard of it before, but all the others sounded so fun too. Especially the Nature Lover's club, although Tes could probably learn a thing or two from the Peaceful Minds club. "I'd love a list of clubs! I looked at a lot of them but there were so many I got kind of overwhelmed and didn't know what to join. Maybe I'll have to join the Martial Arts club though! After all I have to learn to kick butt if I want to protect my friends," Tes joking karate chopped the air, making whooshing noises.

The second the bag of chocolate chip cookies came out Tes eagerly grabbed a couple, being sure to be polite enough to not snatch them, but not hesitating to stuff them in her mouth happily. "Ohmygoshtheseareamazingthankssomuch," she garbled quickly through a mouthful, before swallowing and clarifying, "These are amazing! Thank you so so much!"

She happily munched away as Bailey talked about classes and her clumsiness, nodding along and humming. "I really like the flying classes even if they are a bit scary, but I don't think I'm that clumsy, at least up there. I'm a bit more clumsy on the ground, so I understand the worry! I'll have to see you do Taekwondo sometime- it sounds super neat."

She finished off a cookie and looked sadly at the now empty bag of chocolate chip cookies. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to just eat all of them like that," she brushed crumbs off of her hands and offered the empty bag back to Bailey, unsure if she wanted to reuse it, "I was thinking of heading to dinner now anyways, are you planning to take Twinkle back to the dorm?"

Tesla’s eyes widened as Bailey listed the names of the clubs she was in, or at least some of them.
Bailey smiled, her eyes crinkling.
“No worries- I would love to send one! I’ll get it written up later, and send it over!” Bailey said, excited about the thought of new members.
Bailey laughed at the Karate noises Tes made, and said “To be able to protect my family and friends, that’s one of the reasons I started and kept up with doing Taekwondo or Martial Arts in general, actually.”
that, and my love of the art, the community, and teaching it to people Bailey thought to herself, still smiling.
When Bailey brought the bag of cookies out, Tes was so excited. This made bailey beam with happiness, and just made her all happy and proud and excited.
“I’m glad you like them! I love making food and sharing it with people!”
Bailey talked on as Tes munched on the cookies, and Bailey felt like they had know each other for ages at this point.
instant friends.. seriously for real, Tes is such a ray of sunshine and happiness Bailey thought of her new friend.
“If you don’t want to come to a Martial Artists Meeting cause you think it’d be too overwhelming or something, just owl me and I can do a private lesson of sorts, and show you what I know! I would love to do that, i always enjoy teaching, and it’s almost better with a smaller amount of people!”
As she was speaking, Tes finished off the bag of cookies, and handed bailey the bag back. Bailey slipped it into her bag, and said “No need to apologize, it’s a complement to me that you liked my food enough to finish them off! Plus they’d probably end up going stale if I kept them much longer, and that would be no fun.”
Bailey was still holding Twinkle in her arms, and Bailey glanced down at her when Tes mentioned her.
“I probably should. Sometimes she’ll behave and sit by me while I eat but I feel like she might wander off again… anyways, enjoy your dinner!” Bailey said, smiling.
Not sure what to do next, Bailey just stood there, holding Twinkle in one arm and rummaging through her bag with the other hand.
