I think if you owl them now you should be fine! Just give them a nudge, maybe they forgot

I'd check the absences page first to see if they posted an absence notice. I'd also see when was the last time they were on HiO. If they didn't post an absence notice and are active on HiO, I'd see if they were responding to other threads. If they were, maybe they forgot about your thread. I don't think it would be bad to send them an owl to just double check and make sure they didn't forget about the thread.

I've had some people forget about an old thread because it had been awhile. So it does happen. If they haven't been responding to other threads though, maybe they're just really busy IRL so just be patient for awhile! However, if they don't post in your thread and don't contact you within 2 and 1/2 months, definitely reach out and owl them and let them know that you were wondering if/when they were going to respond to your thread because if a thread is inactive for over 3 months it auto gets locked.

I’m the one who doesn’t reply within a week because I constantly have over 30+ threads and usually over 10 replies to do

i end up procrastinating my replies and then do like 4 of them in one night

Lol. I'm the one that's usually up to date with posts and don't have these problems. Unless I am not on the site for over 3 days and get a buildup and backlog of posts.
