The dark sky looked beautiful, illuminated by the almost full moon and thousands of stars, but Lexie had no time to enjoy such things. She was looking for something important, or at least very cool. The famous Room of Requirement, the room that would only appear when someone truly needed it. Of course, Lexie didn't need it that much, but it would give her huge bragging rights if she found it.
Lexie checked her watch to see it was nearly eight, and glanced at the empty corridors. She had planned it out well-- leave the Great Hall early so the castle would be empty eating dinner, and have plenty of time to search.
She would never admit it, but it wasn't her idea to look for the not so secret room. Lexie had heard some boy say he was planning to find it, and it annoyed her that she hadn't thought of such an idea first. Although she was obviously partial to her own house, even she had to admire the intellect of Ravenclaws.
Carefully, the first year crept around the castle, with real hope of finding the mysterious room. Though she would not find what she was looking for, she would instead find a new friendship.

Lewis spent his entire day in the library. Indeed, while listinening to a group of seventh years, something got to his ears, something about a magical room. The library was closing, as the daytime had passed so quickly and slowly at the same time, Lewis did not yet stored the books he borrowed. In an afternoon, he could not brag to have learn much, as every version was different than the next one. But some books gave him some clues, and so he wasn't dispirited of finding this mysterious chamber. Writing some informations down on a parchment, he then left the library as fast as he could.@Lexie Sereno
It was dinner time, and even if his belly was saying him the contrary, the Ravenclaw decided to not go to the Great Hall. Going up on several staircase rows, he was hoping to find the Room of requirement. But Hogwarts has always been a massive castle, and Lewis quickly lost himself in unknown corridors. It would take a hundred years to find this legendary room ! The armours or the painting would accept to help him, as those characters from another time wouldn't understand him. Few would even help him to find the bathroom, that is to say. Staring at a tapestry representing flying horses ridden by armed mages, Lewis saw another person in the corridor he was. It was a young familiar girl, in a Gryffindor dress, that he probably saw in Classes. What was she doing here, at the same time as him ?
Convinced she didn't saw him, he turned back to search elsewhere, as he wasn't ready for an ankward moment. While going up to the next floor, he redid his day. He wasn't sure, but maybe some words had slipped from his mouth, bragging about doing some research on a room almost every students never found. Several minutes passed, during which Lewis stared at some gargoyles chassing their own horns engraved on a wall. He then decided to observe some doors frame where were designed some names. Where he believed for a second their was only latin names, he quickly realized some students had written on it. As knowing that Leontine and Georges loved eachother very much in 1957 wasn't usefull to his search, Lewis looked away. Did she follows him ? The Gryffindor girl was here, looking at something too. Lewis didn't knew what to do, even more when they eyes met. It was too late to turn around again, so Lewis tried to sketch a little smile in her direction.

Lexie carefully ran her fingers on the walls, hoping to find some kind of imperfection that could be an entrance to the room. She suddenly gasped, but rolled her eyes at herself when she realized it was just a bit of cobweb and dust. Sick of scanning the walls, Lexie looked up to see a familiar boy, with short blonde hair and a small frame.
He was inspecting door frames and a gargoyle statue, which would seem odd to anyone else but Lexie knew immediately what he was looking for. It was the Ravenclaw boy, who had the original idea of finding the Room of Requirement. She froze as his gaze landed on her, and after a second of confusion on his face, a small smile appeared. To Lexie it seemed to be a polite smile and nothing more, but she copied him and then averted his gaze.
The concentration she once had to find the room was gone-- as her focus was now on the boy. What would he think? Technically, it wasn't against the rules to be searching for the room, but if a professor or prefect walked in, questions would be asked. Lexie took a deep breathe and turned her attention back to the boy and gave a rather awkward wave. "Hi.."
