Edward continued to play the piano as Bailey and Kim, as Sally and Jack, walked up to him.
just in time… that’s perfect!! Bailey though, relieved that they were not late.
Kim greeted Keith with his traditional greeting, and Bailey was glad he had spoken. She hadn’t giving him much of a chance to, worried he’d protest.
Watching the entrance, snacking on some of the mummy pigs-in-a-blanket that Kim had made and brought, Bailey saw several people enter, including @Jannette Applebottom , a first year Slytherin that Bailey had met thanks to @Colin McCoire. @Oliver Brown also entered, wearing a more DIY version of Jack’s costume that Kim was wearing.
@Violet Grace also entered the room, dressed as chucky. @Irina Sousa was next to enter, and she walked over to say hello to Bailey! This made bailey smile, and she was glad the girl has come over to say hello.

@ Rebecca Loops was the next person to appear, and they were dressed as an angel. Next to appear was @Colin McCoire, a close and very dear friend of Bailey’s, and of Kim’s. ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | There were a decent amount of people here. That was good for Edward and bad for Kim, especially since the party was being held in an enclosed room. Not outside. Then again, these types of rooms were best to hold gatherings and the weather outside was getting to be a bit chilly as fall continued to approach into winter. Kim's party later would also probably be held in the same type of room. But as long as people didn't crowd around him, he felt as if he would be fine. After the ball had taken place, Kim had slowly been drifting away from those he had been close to before. It hadn't been intentional, it had just... happened over time... and the incident. The orange haired boy also recognized a lot of people at this particular party. Despite this, there were a lot of unfamiliar faces too. The costumes were quite lovely and Kim had to admire them. They were a nice distraction from where his thoughts usually had been over the past few weeks. Ever since the ball had ended. But there was one outfit that made him look twice. The one that was very similar in nature to his own. Could this outfit of whoever it was have been that popular? Kim didn't really know who or what he was portraying, as it had come from Bailey and whatever muggle had invented whoever or whatever this was. But it looked very nice! Kim let his blue eyes flicker around the room. He hadn't seen any of his previous friend group from his first year there but maybe they were all busy. Just as he was thinking this, a familiar howl resounded throughout the room and Kim glanced over his shoulder to see Colin making his way into the room. Well, there was one of them! The orange haired boy let his eyes linger on Colin's chosen costume and raised a brow. A werewolf costume. Well, that was... bold of him. He overheard people introducing themselves but stayed by Bailey's side, not wanting to enter into any conversations. Doing so might rope him into staying in a certain crowded area. Part of him wanted to chat but another part wanted to be left all alone. With everything he'd been going through lately, it was hard to focus. But maybe that was why Bailey had dragged him here in the first place. To get him to unwind, relax and not have to think about things that bothered him. A sigh escaped his lips as he tried to force himself to forget about his current troubles and glanced around the darkened room. Kim wasn't entirely sure what he was doing here but he'd do his best to 'have fun'. For Bailey's sake. He didn't want her to feel bad about dragging him there. Picking up a mummy pigs-in-a-blanket, Kim gnawed at the end of it. Time passed and eventually, Kim decided to leave. There wasn't much going on and although a lot of them seemed to be having fun, they were probably social animals. Making sure Bailey knew he was going to leave, Kim would wave goodbye to those near him and exit the ballroom. He wasn't sure if Bailey would come with him or not but that was entirely up to her. If she wanted to stick around for a bit longer, that was fine. But Kim couldn't take the huge crowd anymore and since it wasn't his party, he didn't need to play the dutiful host to everyone. That in itself was relieving and he wondered how other people did things like that on a regular basis. As for the actual party, all in all it hadn't been that bad at all. It had been fun for awhile. Lily snickered inwardly. Nodding to Oliver, she said, "Yeah that's him. I'm going to try and speak to him," She walked over to the group. "Hi, guys! Nice to see all of you. " She leaned towards Colin and lowered her voice so only he would hear her. "It's more realistic without it, cuz. Besides it fits your fierceness." She moved back with a small smile. She was still sad that they weren't speaking but she decided to just let it past. For now. She turned to the rest of the group. "Hello everyone. I'm Lily. Lily Brown. Colin's cousin." She smiled her eyes flicking towards Colin. He seemed... on edge. What was making him so uneasy? Was it her? Lily hoped not. They had been close...before the incident. Sighing, she stepped closer to Colin and lowered her voice so only he could hear it. " Look Colin, I didn't mean it. Please forgive me." She looked into his eyes, making her expression unreadable. 163 She didn't really expect him to forgive her but she hoped he would at least talk to her. Hopefully. Lily wasn't used to this but she had never made anyone mad before. Key word : before. She sighed inwardly and took a small step backward
