ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | It was Saturday. But not just any Saturday, it was the week before Halloween, which meant it was time for a great Halloween party. Kim had been planning this party for awhile now. He'd been going through what kind of things the party should have that would let people have the maximum amount of fun if they were there. Of course, food and refreshments were a must because no party could be great without them. Perhaps he should plan a game too. Nothing too complicated or too long because people might get confused or bored when engaging in such a game. Ah, party bags, those were very popular! Kim eventually decided on doing all of the above. The last was the easiest to come up with. He'd come up with an idea for that almost instantly and was happy with the results. Hopefully, those who came to the party would also be satisfied with what they received from the parcels. It had taken him a short amount of time to come up with refreshments, snacks, sweets and other types of food to serve. After all, he ran a cooking club, the only one at Hogwarts that was still active. So, coming up with fun ideas for things to eat was pretty easy for him to do. Making them fit in with a holiday theme made him smile. The guest list was also easy for Kim to come up with. He'd invite those he knew. Plus people he knew had been stressing out too much would get an invitation to come to the Halloween party. But this party wasn't going to be an invitation only type of thing, Kim welcomed pretty much the entire school if they all wanted to come. Not that he expected everyone to come and in fact would not know what to do if everyone came. Maybe take everyone out of the ballroom and head outside onto the grounds or the courtyard or something if he really got more people than could fit inside the room. Surely that wouldn't happen, right? The thought made him curious as to how many people would come that he didn't personally invite. It would be interesting to find that out. The thing that had taken him the longest to come up with had been the game. It was the main reason why he hadn't put word out sooner about his upcoming Halloween party. Because he wanted to advertise the spooky game too. But he couldn't do that if he didn't know what the game was. It took him until he saw the advertisement for Edward's Spooky Party to come up with a great idea. However, once he had the idea, it was easy to let the ideas continue to flow and the poster came out soon after. The day after Edward's party ended, Kim's poster came out with a flourish. It was simple but beautiful at the same time. A dark sunset with bats all around was the background of the poster which had some white lines scrawled onto it. Come to the Thrills & Chills Bash on October 22nd at 7:00PM on the 4th Floor inside the Ballroom. Please dress in a scary, spooky, creepy or Halloween type of costume. Bring your appetites for some spooky delicacies, play a creepy spider game and pick up a skull bag before you leave! I guarantee you'll have fun and your heartbeat will increase at some point throughout the night! Do you dare come? Come on, what do you have to lose? - Kim The night had finally arrived and everything had been set up inside the ballroom. Kim had enlisted the aid of some house elves, not wanting to ask for help from any students. Mostly because he wanted the setup to come as a surprise to everyone who decided to come. The place looked awesome. When someone opened the door, all they would see would be a large partition in their way that concealed the rest of the room from view. A normal person would close the door after them, thus shrouding the room back into darkness again. It was set up with delicate care. Cobwebs dangled from the ceiling and over the partitions inside the room. There were various partitions all over the room, set up in different locations and at different angles. It was almost like a maze that those who entered would need to navigate to get from the door to their destination. Cobwebs draped from each of the partitions and down from the ceiling and would brush up against the faces of those who were unlucky enough to feel them. Spooky music could be heard in the background, setting the mood and making imaginations soar, although it was quite safe here. Of course, there were no dead ends in the maze. All one needed to do was move through the narrow partitions until they reached the end and they would emerge. When they emerged, they would come across a large area of the ballroom that had a curved table in the corner, along with three long tables stretched out against the wall. On the curved table a selection of Halloween-themed fruit and vegetables could be seen. Creepy Halloween Eyeballs, Ghost Fruit Kebabs, Puking Pumpkin Veggie Tray and Puking Pumpkin Fruit Tray were just a few that could be seen. This particular area, where the food was, was lit up a bit more, although it was still pretty dark to keep with the theme of spookiness. On the longer tables against the wall, a vast array of Halloween-themed sweets could be found for guests to pick at. Mummy Brownies, Witch Finger Sugar Cookies, Pumpkin Patch Cupcake, Creepy Donuts, Meringue Ghosts, Voodoo Doll Cookies, Vampire Cookie Sandwiches, Spiderweb Caramel Apples, Chocolate Covered Pretzel Bones, Mini Frankenstein Cheesecakes, Bloody Red Velvet Cheesecakes, and Chocolate Spider Trifles could be found to name a few. A few savory treats could also be found on the tables too, such as Mummy Dogs, and Mini Spider Pizzas. And of course there was a table devoted to beverages too. Monster Hot Chocolate, flavored and colored lemonade to fit the Halloween theme, pumpkin juice, and pitchers of ice water with some food coloring to change the color to a more fitting Halloween theme. There were also some other types of snacks and desserts to look at and browse. Over to the right, just past the last long table against the wall, there was a small area where guests could sit down to eat and chat with others. Some comfortable skeleton-designed chairs and sofas could be seen, which had a small cute pumpkin-shaped table to go with them. There were even some bat-shaped cushions for those who wanted to sit on the floor as an alternative. It really was a Halloween themed party and it promised to be very fun if all went well when the party started. The rest of the large ballroom was sectioned off with a very elaborate 'death door' in the way. The 'death door' was not actually a door that caused death, nor was it an actual door. It was merely a very big painting that Kim had done himself and had hung from the ceiling with the help of house elves. So it was kind of like a curtain that hopefully no one tried to go through until it was time to go. Large partitions around the rest of the ballroom kept guests from going to explore elsewhere. Once everyone had arrived and had spent some time refreshing themselves with food and drink, Kim would explain the next stage of the Thrills & Chills Bash to them all. The stage that would lead the guests through the 'death door'. Where they would have a chance to either participate in a creepy, spooky game, or to become a spectator. 3/4 of the area would be reserved for the matches and the remaining 1/4 would be for the spectators. Once the matches ended and the winners received their rewards, the party would be nearly over. When someone decided to leave, or the party ended, Kim would head to a small table near the entrance but almost hidden due to the darkness of the room, and would pick up a small bag with a design of a skull on the outside. Inside would be a bunch of small items and he would give one to each person who had come to the party. But all this would come later on that night. Right now the Thrills & Chills Bash was just starting! All Kim had to do was make sure that no one ducked under the 'death door' painting before it was time to do so. Therefore, he stood in front of it to prevent entry and waited to see who would be the first to show up to the bash. The orange haired boy was dressed in a long sleeve button burgundy tailcoat with black pants and shoes. He sported a set of fake vampire teeth, as by all his knowledge he wasn't part dhampir, and actually looked pretty decent. Now, who would show up to the Thrills & Chills Bash he'd put together? Oliver had been sitting down reading his book, minding his own business when he heard some people whispering… he wasn’t intentionally trying to eavesdrop more of he ‘accidentally’ heard what they were saying. Something about a party… a Halloween party… in the ballroom at 7 pm. He didn’t hear much after that.
He quickly ran to Ravenclaw Common room and headed up to the boys dormitories. When he reached his room he went straight for his trunk. He recently asked parents to give him a costume for Halloween for Edward Edwards party, though he didn’t know him well, he still went, but he didn’t remember where he had placed his costume after that party. For a split second he thought he was screwed. No costume to a Halloween party was a no no. He practically threw everything out of his trunk before seeing a gray plastic bag. He had such terrible memory sometimes. Please be it, please be it! To his relief, it was his Halloween costume. A Jack Skellington Costume. It wasn’t much, just a suit and a mask. But it will have to do.
He head off to the ballroom and walked in. Oh boy was he not at all prepared. As the door closed he was engulfed in darkness. He walked a bit, when his eyes adjusted to the light, something his his face. “Ugh!” he said as a fake cobweb covered his face. He wasn’t wearing his mask yet, so his whole face had a cobweb on it. He threw it aside. He hated to admit it but it was quite clever. Having a dark room then leave low hanging cobwebs was brilliant.
He made it through into the ballroom where finally he saw light. His jaw dropped a bit. More low hanging cobwebs were on the ceiling which he realized was going to be a pain later, there were tables filled with sweets and chairs and couches… made of bone? This is awesome he thought. He didn’t think anyone was here except for a guy dressed in a vampire costume with orange hair. This must be the party host and he must be the first arrival. He walked over but made a detour first grab a cookie that looked like a witches finger! He ate the cookie while walking towards the guy with orange hair. It was delicious! Better than anything he had ever baked! “Nice party you got here! Even the treats are scary! I like it! Am I the first arrival?” he asked as he finished his cookie.

When bailey saw the posters @Kim Sato had made for his Halloween party she was so excited, and proud of the work he had put in. After @Edward Edwards Halloween party the previous night, he had mentioned having the idea to have a party of his own.
Bailey had wholeheartedly agreed, and said she’d help in any way.
As they drew closer to the event, Bailey asked her mum for a costume. Her mum, being as kind and caring as she was, supplied one. It was again Fairy tale themed, but this time she was a spin off of Red Riding Hood. Her floor length black gown, with a velvet red caps accompanied her lace black heels and pearl and ruby neclace. Her look was completed with red and black eyeshadow and a classic red riding hood basket.
Bailey had baked some spooky treats to bring, after checking with Kim to see what he was making. She had made spiderweb wrapped peanut butter brownies, white chocolate dipped strawberries, aka ghosts, chocolate peanut butter cup spider cookies and rice crispie pumpkins.
Getting ready, Bailey packed her bag. Along with her basket she would be bringing a small bag, with some candy and gum, her wand, a notebook and pen and a few napkins.
Grabbing her bag and basket, Bailey made sure everything looked fine in the mirror before heading out.
Arriving, Bailey was early so she could help Kim in any way she could. Setting her basket down, Bailey was about to start unpacking the food when she decided to ask Kim where it wanted it. “Hey Kim!” she greeted him when she arrived. Giving him a quick hug she made her way over to one of the food tables, while saying “I hope it’s ok that I’m early- is there any way I can help? Also I brought some food, all deserts. Where do you want me to put them? And what else can I help with?”
Turning, Bailey look Kim up and down. He was dressed as a vampire, and his outfit was red and black- it sort of matched hers!
“I love your construe!” Bailey said, but before she could continue @Oliver Brown, a fellow Ravenclaw and a first year, showed up. He clearly didnt see Bailey, as he asked if he was the first arrival. Stepping forward out from the table, Bailey said “No, but I suppose you’re the first guest- I’m not sure I count! Kim did all of this on his own though- I just came and brought a few treats.”
Oliver was wearing the same costume he had at Edward’s spooky party. It was a more DIY version of Jacks costume that Bailey had also convinced Kim to wear to that party.

There was a lot going on at Hogwarts - the international students arrived and so there was also the long-awaited reunion with Ronnie. In addition, the first task of the Tournament soon took place. The Fall Ball was the first ball at Hogwarts that Haley Rose did not attend. But the evening was better than she could have imagined, she had her very own private date with Ronnie. He and Cash had gone to an incredible amount of trouble and Haley had had an amazing evening. It hadn't taken much persuasion to convince the boy to go to the party and Haley already had the perfect idea for a costume. Joker and Harley Quinn. Of course she had to explain to Ronnie who they were, but she managed to convince him. So the plan was set and while Haley had already found her way into her costume and make-up, all that was missing was the hair. Haley did two braids on the sides, but the right colour was still missing and Ronnie was responsible for that.
Before she left for the party, she met up with Ronnie and when she saw the boy with the blue-grey eyes in his costume, her mouth dropped. "Wow, look at you!" He looked good, he always looked good, but the costume suited him better than it did anyone else. "Hello Joker." She smirked now, twirling the baseball bat. Laughing, she walked towards him and presented her outfit with a short slow spin. "So what do you think?" giggled Haley, winking at him. "All that's missing is the hair." Haley batted her eyelashes and waited for Ronnie to do the part. Once she had the blonde hair, she took some of the hair chalk and coloured her tips blue and pink. "It feels wrong." she laughed uncertainly, Haley had never had a hair colour other than her ginger hair.
After they were ready for the party, Haley led them both to the ballroom and as soon as they walked through the door, she couldn't help but be amazed. Kim had really done something great. "Hey Kim!" she greeted the fellow Gryffindor. "Let me introduce you to the one and only Joker." She pointed her baseball bat in Ronnie's direction and again she could hardly take her eyes off this boy. "Thank you so much for inviting me. It looks really great! And great costume!"

Taisia had never been to a Halloween Party before Kim's. Of course when she was younger she had been trick or treating but never something like this. She had first learned about it when she saw it on her room mate, @Bailey Glade's bed. Taisia had nervously asked if she could go. Bailey had said yes and suddenly Taisia started seeing posters everywhere. She hadn't known who to dress up as, so she had spent the days before thinking about it. Finally, late on October 21st, Taisia realised what she could do.
On October 22, it took her almost three hours to finish getting ready. She wasn't usually someone who obsessed over what she was wearing, but today was still part of her first impression.
The end product looked crazy. She had decided to go as Medusa. Snakes covered her head, and it was the most important part. Someone from Slytherin provided her with the snakes. In the time, she grew about 15cm, thanks to the snakes on her head. The rest of her costume was a black singlet, black pants and heavy black or green makeup. She had wiped away her colour changing lipstick of course (didn't want it ruining her costume) and gone black, with green smile lines extending from her actual lip.
She had gotten a few funny looks on her way down, but managed to avoid most people- they couldn't recognise her anyway. She entered the Ballroom almost on time, but there were only four people there. She of course recognised Bailey and a boy with orange hair who she had sometimes seen with her, who must be Kim.
"Hi everyone!" she called as she entered, a rather brave move from herself. She walked over to the treats table where most people were standing, and took a look.
"Merlin's beard, @Kim Sato, this is amazing!
She took a few bones from the table and waited.

────────────────────Sienna had found herself receiving an invitation to Kim's Halloween party earlier in the week. After long and thoughtful consideration, she decided there would be no harm in showing up and staying for a while. Social events were usually the last place you should look to find the Gryffindor girl, but the spooky season had gotten to her, she supposed, for that night she would be at the party. Halloween happened to be one of Sienna's favorite holidays, but who didn't love the frightful and fear provoking atmosphere that Halloween gave?

The invitation instructed the guests to dress in a Halloween costume, so she dressed as an enchantress. Her costume consisted of a long, shimmery black dress, a silver cloak, black lace up boots, and small black gloves. All in all, she thought she hadn't done a half bad job on her costume. In any case it was comfortable enough and easy to move around in.
As she entered the ballroom, she shut the door behind her, plunging herself into darkness. There were cobwebs strung up here and there throughout the twisting and turning way. When Sienna was finally able to navigate her way into the main part of the ballroom, she couldn't help but be blown away at the marvelous decorations that Kim had managed. Truly, the room looked wonderful.
Spotting Kim across the room, she uncertainly made her way over to him, again realizing social events were not her thing. "Hey Kim," she spoke softly. "The room looks awesome. Nice job on the decorations," she would compliment him. It looked like she was one of the first people there. Besides her and Kim there was another Gryffindor she recognized vaguely, a boy and a girl completely unfamiliar to her, and Bailey, whom she would most likely try to steer clear of that night. I was wandering around the school, looking for the library(what I do when I'm in doubt) when I saw a poster on one of the walls. It was advertising a Halloween party! I got excited. I loved Halloween and everything about it. The sign said to wear a Halloween costume. But what? I might have had a costume in my trunk, but I wasn't about to spend half an hour digging through my trunk. I went back to the common room and came out looking like a devil. I had a blood-red cloak(with a high collar)that was much too large for me, all black clothes underneath, a pair of red, devilish horns, fangs, and a tail that looked a little like a spear at the end. I don't where the costume came from, honestly. If I knew better, I wouldn't say it came out of nowhere. I went to the ballroom, like the sign said the party would take place, and opened the door. There were people there on the first inspection. And lots of cobwebs, too. Everybody was wearing different costumes: Jack Skellington, a sort of Red Riding Hood costume, Harley Quinn, a girl in a long, black dress and silver cloak, and...Medusa? Yeah, I wish I'd worn something different, but there was no taking it back now. I joined everybody else in the ballroom, heading towards the table of food.

Mina had been planning to spend her evening reading another book her mother had sent her. That was, until a few hours ago when Mina had overheard a small group of people talking about this party. Mina was never one to go to parties, especially when the world of books was calling her, but it wasn’t so bad to get out of the dorm and do things like this, was it? Her mother would tell her to stay, finish her homework and read, meanwhile, her father would suggest she use this time to see if she could make new friends. She went with the latter.
So instead of finishing her homework and reading, Mina had decided to throw together a quick costume for the event and she was quiet proud of herself. She had decided to go as a falling angel. She had spent the day putting the costume together, the wings and the dress, even if it had taken her forever to find everything, she still thought she looked killer.
She hums and stands outside the room she had overheard the group of people talking about and bites her lip slightly and then walks inside, looking around. Mina didn’t know much about parties, but she thought the decorations looked good and something smelled good. She smiles slightly and follows her nose, walking over to a refreshment table and looking at the drinks and food for a moment before shrugging and picks up a treat and eats it.
She looks around trying to find a familiar face amongst the unfamiliar faces, there was one that stood out to her, @Bailey Glade, she had been the girl she had met in the gardens. She talked almost or maybe just as much as Mina had. Mina ponders for a moment and then decides to walks over, even if the girl was talking to two people Mina didn’t know, maybe she could meet them as well.
“Hey, Bailey, it’s been a moment.” Mina says coming to a halt slightly behind and to the right of the girl and then a sheepish look crosses her face slightly, she didn’t know if it was okay to just walk up and start talking, but then again, Mina wasn’t the kind of girl to care what others thought very much. But there was the thing that she wanted to have friends here at Hogwarts, and Bailey was one of the first people she met, she wanted the girl to have a good opinion of her. “I love your outfit, you look great!”

what day was it? Quinn looked at her calendar, and gave it a nice skim. Right!! Kim's party! How could she forget? She had her costume down. She gave it a lot of thought really, it was on from a muggle show. Disney? She thought that was what it was called. Anyway the main par for her outfit would be her hair.
The character she was dressing up as would be the one and only Cruella Deville, her hair looked so cool! In Quinn's opinion at least. It was split down the middle black and white. So cool!! She thought, with her metamorph ability Quinn could pull this off extremely easily and quick.
She thought of her hair as half black, and half white. Boom. Like always it changed. Today she was tackling something that she didn't do often. Makeup. How was she supposed to use this? After a looong time of messing with it she thought it looked pretty good! "Yes! This looks so good!!!!" with that she was off.
She entered the room, and was shocked. The room had looked amazing! "Wow. This looks really good Kim!" she told Kim. Quinn walked over to the food table Drawn to the Donuts, she would eat them waiting for the party to really start.

As Halloween arrived, coating the halls of Hogwarts with jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, and the scent of pumpkins, Sirin began to make her own preparations. Halloween was one of Sirin's favorite holidays--in the muggle world. she and her friends would often go trick-or-treating and return home full of chocolate and highly hyperactive. Recently, Kim had organized a Halloween party and Sirin was set on going. She also planned to dress up and bring Elysia, who seemed to agree with the plan so long as food was involved. Sirin wanted to dress her up as a little bat, but the ferret refused multiple times, and when Sirin finally got Elysia to put on the costume, the little ferret had already eaten a whole bag of turkey breast and was rather full. Chuckling, Sirin got into her own costume. It was fairly simple--Sirin was certainly not fond of extravagant costumes. Her costume consisted of a black skirt and dress shirt with a long, elegant cloak (or was it a cape?). Finally, she cautiously opened up a little treasure box she was saving for last. In it, were two small cylinders--smoke bombs. Once again, it was her father who had owled them to her for Halloween. Sirin decided on bringing two, one for her grand entrance, and one for.....other purposes.
As Sirin strolled down the hallway, she took a deep breath and clutched her bomb tightly. As she approached the destination, she could already hear the laughter of students and the wafting aroma of treats.
Sirin hurled the bomb at the floor and soon the entrance was flooded with grayish-blue, thick smoke. She walked through it, and though Elysia protested, the ferret gave in and curled in Sirin's arms.
In an eerie voice, she said,
"I don't like to think of myself as habitually late..I just wanted to make a grand entrance."
