I Need Help Finding a Book?
@Quinn Root
In the library, Steve Falenwolfe cannot help but glare at all the shelves of books. Although he loves this place, he cannot help but be angry. He doesn't even know how to search for the stupid things! Although he's taller than average, Steve is very impatient. He has a very short fuse as most muggles say.
"Иногда мне жаль, что я не читал так много, как сейчас." He grunts. "Было бы намного проще, если бы я не читал так, как читаю. Было бы лучше, если бы я просто читал то, что должен прочитать для школьной работы, потому что тогда мне не нужно было бы все время ходить в библиотеку."
He is a Russian eleven year old boy who moved to Wales after his first incident of magic. For some reason, he has a fiery passion for learning other languages and he knows both Russian and German. He mostly talks to himself in both languages, and he prays to God that no one else in the school know what language he speaks in.
Glancing around with wary eyes, he bares his teeth. 'Come on, weakling! You can ask for help!' The voice inside his head - his common sense - roars. But his trepidation and caution keeps him from asking for help. He may be sarcastic, but he does't like people, and would rather be away from them. But as he glances around, he notes a few people who seem kind enough to allow him to ask them for help.
As he approaches one of them, his legs feel too long and tight as he clears his throat. He glances away for a moment before he sighs.
"Hello, I am Steve Falenwolfe - a First Year Gryffindor. I need help looking for a book... If the library has it... If they have... Er.... Muggle books." He clears his throat again. "Do they?" He feels so stupid as he asks this - why does the library have to be so confusing!
Although he's only eleven, Steve acts way too mature for his age. He sighs and glances away, muttering something under his breath. He doesn't specify what book he's looking for, although he shouldn't really be reading it. He's obsessed with Tom Clancy, which he may or may not have picked up by his mother, and that's the type of book he's looking for. Maybe his father doesn't like his youngest son reading them books, but Steve is literally obsessed with the military and Tom Clancy's books - he owns three copies of Rainbow Six - and many of the other military-based authors.

Translation:"Sometimes I wish I didn't read as much as I do now." He grunts. "It would be much easier if I didn't read the way I read. It would be better if I just read what I have to read for school work, because then I wouldn't have to go to the library all the time."

I Need Help Finding a Book?
@Quinn Root
Steve shrugs. "That would be nice - if I am not inconveniencing you." He says. He's not really having too good a day - his father wouldn't let him bring his Clancy books. The contact-red eyes hide behind a pair of tinted glasses with silver frames.
"Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy. Or, well, any Tom Clancy book would be fine with me." He says as he glances at the hundreds of books on the shelves. Well, it's more like thousands. His heart falls and he looks at the ground.
"Это будет сложн". He says, and it's louder than he thought. He glances at the person in front of him - she introduced herself as Quinn Root.
"Erm, sorry." He says when he realizes that she heard him say something in his native language. Although he's not sorry, isn't that the most typical thing people say? "As you can tell, I am Russian." And he doesn't explain any further.
Unused to so many books, Steve's hands itch to run along the spines of the many, many books. He would love to open the books and read each sentence, learn each secret that the books may hold. He cannot help but wonder if any of them are written in Russian -
He shakes his head and straightens - now's not the time to wonder about that. He's supposed to look for a certain collection of books that he could read. Maybe he will learn about things that his father has urged him to learn. But that's doubtful - Steve'd rather eat a worm than please his perfectionist father.
