FAQ Questions about Lessons

I know we are not allowed to receive the answers for questions, but I cannot seem to find the necessary information for one of the questions in the year 1 lesson 1 homework. The third question asks "What are the three instruments that I mentioned that will be using for our classes?" I have read through the entire top section multiple times and cannot seem to find the section where that answer is given. Could you perhaps point me to the right paragraph(s)?

Hi. This might have been answered already and I just didn't see it and I'm sorry if it has, but my question is, for the role play part in the 4th lesson in 1st year does it have to be in the 3rd person or can it be in 1st person (I, me), or will that break the anonymous rule? I just want to make absolutely sure so I don't do something wrong and lose points for it. Thank you for your time

Thank you for asking! If it's in first person that won't break the anonymous rule. If you mention a name of the character just tuck it at the top of your roleplay with a heads up that its a pseudonym and you'll be fine. Just make sure that when you're writing in first person that you don't mention a house or year (unless it's like- a vague first year learning a spell in a first year lesson).

In lesson 2 you have a choice to include a drawing. Can it be a photo instead?

I believe it must be something you made by yourself, such as a hand drawing or a digital picture (so no using other people's photography or sketch, or instance). But Professor Horne can correct me if I'm mistaken.

I've accepted people getting the astronomical symbols from other places- like if you pull a google image. I try not to put too many restrictions because I value people wanting to learn and make the effort. So as long as you put some kind of picture (whether it's yours or not), I don't care. I do recommend making sure your image will show up by testing it in a regular post first! I can't award the point if the picture doesn't load.
