Irina stood from her seat, grabbed her charms' book, quill, ink bottle and notebook putting everything back to her school bag as quickly as she could. Not that she didn't liked charms' class, in truth was one of her favorite subjects at Hogwarts. But she was impatient and curious to know about what Colin has to talk with her and their friends. The second year Slytherin seemed to be very excited when he told them to meet him at the library this afternoon. She had also noticed the mischievous glint in the boy's eyes when he invited them over, she knew him well enough already to know that what ever it is, it had the promise of fun and probably also some promise of trouble too. Well...usually trouble and fun are synonyms in my dictionary!, she concluded while entering through the library's tall doors, walking on the long carpet spread out along the bookshelves' corridor and looking around until she spotted out her tall blond friend. He was already seated at one of the tables. Above it were already several books, quills, ink...and a lot of other things he had brought. "Hi Colin!" She greeted in almost a whisper, since they were at the library she didn't wanted to disturb other students or call the librarian's attention. She took a seat across from her friend and picked up one of the books that was at the top of one of the piles reading it's title, "History of Magic...Why did you brought all of that staff?" She asked with a half smile putting the book down again, "When you told us that you wanted to meet with us here I didn't expected that you actually wanted to help us with our studies!" she looked at him with a questionable look raising one of her eyebrows, "What do you have in mind Colin McCoire?" she crossed her arms across her chest looking at her friend with a playful smile.

As usual, the Library was packed. With students trying to study or get homework done, it wasn't like this is Jannette's first broom race. Today, Colin invited her, Irina, Violet, and Rebecca for a Slytherin Studying session. She was expecting it to be the usual thing, Study for 5 minutes then just talk for the rest of the hour, which she didn't mind, I mean she is a Slytherin after all, and if she really wanted to study for the full hour, she would've been in Ravenclaw already. But, 5 minutes of studying is better than 0 minutes of studying, and with an upcoming test that Professor Karr is giving out on Friday, she needs every minute of studying she can get.

Readjusting her satchel, Jannette scans each collum of the library, seeing a group of Hufflepuffs at one table, in the next collum just a few students reading books, and in the next collum a Gryffindor and a Ravenclaw kissing?! Finally, after going almost to the end of the collum she found Colin McCoire and Irina Sousa. As she approaches the two, Irina speaks.

"... History of Magic...Why did you brought all of that staff? When you told us that you wanted to meet with us here I didn't expected that you actually wanted to help us with our studies! What do you have in mind Colin McCoire?"

"Wai' -- we're no' studyin'?"¹ Jannette says joining into the group with a sigh of relief. Putting her apple-satchel down on the table and she rubs her right shoulder. "Oi brough' moi textbook t'inkin' we were gonna be studyin', dah t'ing weighs loike... fif'y poun's!"² She says jokingly, a sly smirk appears on the girl's face, she then mirrors Irina and crosses her arms. "Aye, I'm with Irina on dis one, wha're we really doin' 'ere Colin, hmmmm, HMMMM?!"³

After his last class of the day, Rebecca headed to meet up with Colin. He was brimming with excitement for what afternoon had in store for the group, and hastened his step as he entered the library. Colin had posted himself up in an out of the way study table, which was probably for the best considering what they'd actually be doing.

It looked like Irina and Jannette had already arrived, Rebecca dropped his bag on a seat and leaned over to see what Colin was doodling, giving it a nod before turning away to look at the girls.

"What could you be possibly talking about, Applebottom?" he responded with faux innocence. "I'm nothing if not studious and academically engaged."

He smiled sweetly at the pair, ignoring their dubious looks. "Really, I'm a little hurt you'd think anything differently. Just a bog standard study session"

Rebecca glanced at Colin, his grin turning a little sly. They'd discussed this meeting together beforehand in light of... recent aquisitions. Rebecca was delighted to know something that the others didn't, he relished taking advantage of the situation to hold it over the girls' heads. They'd find out soon enough anyway, and all annoyance would quickly be forgotten.

Violet arrived at the library at Colin’s request. She was a bit surprised that it was Colin who invited all of them to a study session, as he seemed like a person more into fun stuff than studying but who knows, maybe he had other plans as well? Plans that fit more into his personality.
In all honesty, Violet didn’t hate studying, not to act like a ravenclaw or anything but she didn’t like the way slytherins were currently last in the rankings, so she wanted her house to win house cup and cups and she wanted to play a big part in it. It doesn’t mean she actually belonged in knowledge seeking ravenclaw, it was just her ambitious side, thank you very much. Besides, they weren’t boring muggle classes but classes about magic!
Finally she saw her friends' familiar faces on a library table talking to each other.
‘’Hey there!’’ she greeted them as she walked towards them, just a little bit louder for the library’s silence rules, she could only hope it wasn’t that bad. She noticed a doodle in Colin’s sketch book. It was a girl sitting by a fire under a full moon. ‘’Nice drawing’’ she said to him with a quieter voice. ‘’Is she a random girl or just a pigment of your imagination?’’ She smiled wickedly at Colin, waiting to see his response.

Colin felt so energised as he worked on Clair's picture. Turned out to be more of a silhouette. He bent his head over his work as he drew. He smiled as he worked himself into the sketch. He ---

Wait. Colin sat up straight, his brows furrowed as his nose competed with his eyes for his brain's attention. Wh--- Something smelled very delicately familiar, like the scent of a flower carried over a great distance. His nostrils flared. He realised someone was standing in front him. She whispered her greeting. "Oh! Irina! I was surprised by your almost silent arrival! It's like you were stalking me!"

Colin smiled when she wondered why all the books and supplied had been so carefully laid out! And when Jannette arrived, his smile only grew. She's such a sweetheart! Colin thought. She actually thinks this is an academic study session! "Strong work Jannette! Open your book to page 394! It'll look more convincing that way!"

Colin smirked as both girls sat across from him with their arms folded across their chests. Loops showed up just after Jannette and quipped that this was indeed a serious study session. He sat down next to Colin and glanced over at Colin's sketch book. Colin mimicked Irina and Jannette's pose with a smirk on his face. Loops gave him a wicked idea. He nodded seriously towards Rebecca.

"Loops is right! You lot need to review your Dark Arts lessons! We're going to study some dark creatures today." His gaze swept from Jannette, who still hadn't opened her book to page 394, to Irina who still had a playful smile on her face. He knew that if he looked at Rebecca he'd burst out laughing. Colin narrowed his eyes at Irina. "Werewolves ---"

But before Colin could say another word, Violet showed up and sat down on his other side. "Nice drawing. Is she a random girl or just a pigment of your imagination?"

Colin's heart skipped about four beats! "Wh--- What!?" he said, turning suddenly towards Violet. He realised they could all see what he was drawing! Oh crap! he thought. "Er!" Colin began to blush as the first years looked on. So much for being the proud second year ringleader! His face and his chest felt hot and he bit he lower lip.

"Um. Ye --- ah --- Yeah! Aye, she's a random pigment of my imagination! That's it!"

Colin's eyes closed as he looked down at the page. Not only was there the big sketch of Clair --- and her Wolf --- under the Moon; but there were doodles of Clair flying her broom, Clair studying, Clair casting spells, Clair sitting peacefully, Clair running in a meadow like a maniac. There were wee hearts all over the pages and several "C&C" monograms and even Clair's name spelled out with tiny hearts and stars and wavy lines all around as well.

Colin moaned. Only the dimmest of trolls could possibly believe that the girl in all these sketches and doodles was just random figment of his imagination.

Colin seemed to be so intent on his drawing that he didn't notice her approach towards his table. Glancing at his sketchbook she saw that his drawings were basically all about the same girl, the one in particular that he was drawing had a full moon and a wolf beside her. She couldn't stop to also noticed all the wee hearts and the letters C&C...Colin and...Clair? She remembered the girl's name from the first time she met Colin at the Slytherin's table. Wow, he really likes her! Irina realized, and it was weird for her, how can he fancy someone that much being just his age? She can't even understand that kind of feelings...will her own sketchbook look like that in a year or so? Eh...no, please don't! she almost pleaded to herself, however, she had to admit that it sounded better then to have a sketchbook full with nightmares. "I wasn't stalking you Colin, you invited me here, remember?" she answered the boy with a short laugh, "just don't want to call everyone's attention." she explained.

Then Jannette arrived. She looked surprised when had realized that we were not really studying! It's interesting how can she be so innocent sometimes and act so wickedly at others. Irina smirked at the brunette when she made her same gesture and question to their older friend. They didn't had time for receiving an answer though, Rebecca has finally arrived too. Apparently he knew what was going on there. Even his attempt to look innocent was betrayed by the tricky smile on his face. But Colin seemed to had picked up his line very effectively, with a more serious expression he told the girls to open their D.A.D.A's book at the page 394. Irina couldn't believe that he actually thought that she would fall for it. It was obvious that they were not there to study...so she kept looking at Colin with a daring smile and a questioning expression, she didn't even cared about picking up her book to see about what dark creature he wanted to talk about.

But now he was looking at her with an intense expression, his eyes narrowed, like he wanted to tell her something, "Werewolves ---", he started...and just that word accompanied with his stare made her heart stop and she forgot how to breath for one second. Then she felt the tendons of panic hitting her, Does he KNOW? HOW?!, her heart started beating fast and her hands were sweaty as she felt the blood drain from her face. It's not possible that he had realized it just yet, we are good friends yes...but not for that long! She had been nothing but careful at hiding her secret...so how? She acknowledge Violet's arrival, but her mind got stuck at that word...Werewolf. He couldn't know an less...an less he was...the memories came to her mind at once, like pieces of a puzzle bringing up together, “The guy knows how to act the big bad wolf don't he?” She had thought about him at the welcoming ritual, and his scars… when they were playing at the exploding solitaire, she remembered she thought they were not just burning scars, there were others, she now realized, were too familiar to her…because she also have some like those. Were her senses telling her what she has just now concluded? Her heart started pounding on her chest and she felt dizzy when realization came to her… He is a werewolf too! Her eyes widened while she looked back at Colin. Colin that now was…embarrassed? What happened? Irina had lost the track on her friend’s conversation. She looked at Violet then, the red-haired girl was staring at Colin with a mischievous smile on her face and the other two slytherin's first year were also looking at him. She turned her gaze again, towards the tall and now blushing friend. He was looking at his sketchbook...the girl, the full moon and a wolf...Is he the wolf in that picture? she wondered in her thoughts. He let out a slight groan that told her that hadn't been part of his plans to share those drawings with his friends. She felt sympathetic with his feelings, she would never want to share her sketchbook with her friends by accident, there's to much of her in it that she's not ready to show to them yet. She then decided to help him put a full stop on that issue by standing from her seat, leaning above the piles of books and closing his sketchbook in one movement. "These are beautiful drawings Colin! There is no need to feel ashamed! Let's skip this and all the werewolf talk... what do you really want us to do with this whole stuff?" She asked nodding towards the material laid out on the table and turning to her sit. She was now smiling at Colin hoping he'd taken the hint, these issues can wait, specially the last one.

At Irina's prompting, Rebecca laced his fingers and sat forward on his chair, a conspiratorial glint in his eyes as he met the gazes of each assembled Slytherin. "Lads. Today we make our first step into Sculduggery, Misconduct, and general Funny Business."

He glanced shiftily around to make sure no one else was in earshot, and lowered his voice enough that they would have to lean in to hear.

"There's a Hogsmeade weekend coming up, if you weren't aware. All the older students get to go and spend a night on the town, visiting shops and pubs and the like." He grinned.

"We're going to be there too."

He ignored any protests his friends might express and nodded confidently towards Colin. "Colin here has a couple tricks up his sleeve, that's why you lot have got your work cut out for you today," Rebecca gestured grandly towards the assorted quills and ink set on the table, "making a forgery of the Hogsmeade permission form convincing enough to get you out of the castle."

Rebecca reached into his schoolbag and whipped out a parchment, holding it aloft for the others to see. "I've got mine already, courtesy of my older sister," he explained, setting it down on the table. "But, considering not all of us have the benefit of generous older siblings, it's a bit more effort on your end. Colin's been kind enough to lend everyone a device from his own family that you can use to stencil your own copy of the permission form. Hence, the actual reason we're all here."

Rebecca shrugged. "Sorry if you thought we'd be getting any actual studying done today," he laughed.

With her hands still crossed, Jannette was waiting for an explanation, a smirk still plastered on her face as now, she started to tap her foot. But before she can get an answer from Colin, another Slytherin boy decided to join the group, Rebecca, and he essentially teased her like he was her brother. Jannette's face would turn a shade of crimson, remaining silent. She did feel a little stupid, thinking that they were only just studying and talking, but to her fairness, Colin was pretty subtle in his reasoning as to why he wanted them there. "N-no! Oi though' we were gonnah be talkin' fer a wee bit too yuh know!"¹ She said in defense.

"Strong work Jannette! Open your book to page 394! It'll look more convincing that way!"

"Seeeeeee, oi told yah we are studyin'!"² Jannette says to Rebecca, rather matter-of-factly. At this point, Colin could tell the Niffler that the sky is purple and she would probably believe him. It's Colin after all why would he lie? "On i'!" Listening to the leader, Jannette would open her DADA book, and randomly landed on page 326. "T'ree-two-six..." She says whispering to herself.

"Loops is right! You lot need to review your Dark Arts lessons! We're going to study some dark creatures today. Werewolves ---"

"Werewolves?!" She then does a goofy howl, wasn't loud or quiet, but just a normal howl. Getting into the mood, she would swipe at the pages with her hands like she was doing a doggy paddle on the pages, "T'ree-five-five.... T'ree-" As the girl would continue pawing at the pages, whispering each page number. As Jannette was swiping away, Violet arrived at the group, starting a conversation. While they were talking, Jannette was in full focus mode, I mean, she has a task at hand, and she didn't want to forget or even worse, get distracted.

"Nice drawing. Is she a random girl or just a pigment of your imagination?"

"Wh--- What!? Er. Um. Ye --- ah --- Yeah! Aye, she's a random pigment of my imagination! That's it!"

"These are beautiful drawings Colin! There is no need to feel ashamed! Let's skip this and all the werewolf talk... what do you really want us to do with this whole stuff?"

Wait, drawing? In an instant the girl lost all focus, I guess that whole don't get distracted thing sorta went over her head."Oi wannah see, Oi wannah see!" Jannette stops her page-turning, as she looks into Colin's doodle book, it was as if she was just barging in on his privacy. Examining the book, it had sketches of a girl everywhere, her with a wolf, her sitting, her dashing through a field, it was just all of this girl. Geez, who is this girl in pigment, his imaginary friend? The brunette noticed 'C&C' 'C&C what's that, a candy?' and then 'Claire' in cute little hearts. The Nifflers eyes would grow, a wide grin now appearing from ear to ear. It was like a lightbulb just lit up on top of her head, and now, she can't wait to express it! "YOU LOIKE CLAIR!?" Jannette blurts out a little too loudly, causing a few students to look in the Slytherin group's general direction. "♪ OOUUUUUUUHHHHH Cooolliinnn 'as uh crruuuhhshshh, Coooohlllinn 'as aahh ccrruuusshhh!~ ♪" She sings in a teasing tune, her head tilting left and right.

With teasing subsided, Jannette looked over to Rebecca now explaining the reason why they were actually here. Jannette hated to admit it, but she loved the idea. The loved Hogsmeade, or well... rather the story her siblings tell her all the time about it. "Wai', really?!" She exclaims. Man, did she really think they were gonna study Werewolves? Really Jannette? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. "Lucky... oi wish my siblin's gave me uh pass..." She pouts, seeming pretty bummed out that her brothers and sisters didn't even come up with the idea of making her a fake pass. "Pffff yuh don' nee' teh apologize, t'is is waaayyyy be'ah den studyin'."³ Jannette then rubs her hands together, "So 'ow do we use t'is device?"⁴

Violet couldn't help but laugh at Colin's blushy and nervous reaction. Looking at the drawings again, she realized there was a name spelled out "Clair". Yep, not a part of imagination!
There was also a wolf on one drawing but she didn't comment on it this time.
Then Irina came out. "These are beautiful drawings Colin! There is no need to feel ashamed! Let's skip this and all the werewolf talk... what do you really want us to do with this whole stuff?"

"Yeah, yeah!" Violet said."Don't mind me, those are really good drawings, Colin!"
Also..werewolf talk? What was going on?

But then Jannette, being Janette, blurted out Colin's crush causing a few other students to look at the slytherin group, she started singing in a teasing tune and Violet laughed and grinned again.

Suddenly, Rebecca laced his fingers and sat forward on his chair. "Lads. Today we make our first step into Sculduggery, Misconduct, and general Funny Business."

Okay so that was true, they didn't come here to study. Violet wondered if this "funny business" would be too dangerous. However, after he explained their plan to go to Hogsmeade, she truly felt intrigued. Mainly because she heard of a delicious candy and sweet store there..and Violet could not stand waiting for years to taste them all! Why would you have to be an at least 3rd year student to do this? She could understand the pubs though. She also was curious about the shops there.
So in the end, she didn't express any protest.

Rebecca continued explaining the plan with the fake permission form.
Something uneasy was in Violet's chest but she tosssed it aside."Okay, I am in!"
