Colin with a side of two new friends
Sunny Sunday morning in October
Getting up, Bailey opened the windows to let in some light. She stretched for a few minutes and then got dressed. Grabbing her bag, Bailey put her wand inside, along with two books to read, and her journal and writing utensils. Bailey headed down to breakfast with a smile on her face, happy to be awake. It was a sunny day, and she had no work to do, having finished it the previous day.
Sitting down, Bailey ate some chocolate pancakes, topped with chocolate chips, whipped cream and strawberry sauce. This was her favorite weekend breakfast and it was a real treat.
After finishing her breakfast Bailey headed outside to get some vitamin D.
Maybe Colin will be outside! It would be nice to see him Bailey though, hoping her Syrherin friend would be outside.
Laying out her picnic blanket, Bailey settled down. Laying on her stomach, she pulled out some toast she had brought along as a snack, and her book to read.
After a half hour and two pieces of toast, Bailey had had enough reading and was going to make a to do list, for her clubs and for her life in general.
She had just pulled out her journals when she heard a familiar Scottish accent. Sitting up and turning, she saw Colin, and two girls behind him. Her first thought was who are those girls? quickly followed by how did Colin know I was here?
Smiling, Bailey stood up to give Colin a hug.
“Hey Colin! I was just wondering if you would be outside today, and figured I’d bump into you! Who are you friends?”
Turning to the girls, Bailey smiled and said
“My name is Bailey- Bailey Glade. I’m a third year, Ravenclaw, and a friend of Colin!
Stopping herself there, baileys stuck her hand out for the girls to shake if they chose to do so!

It was Sunday morning, Finally! Was her first thought when she waked up on her dorm. She had lowered the canopy of her bad so she could sleep until a little bit later. She had done her homework the day before so she could enjoy this day having fun with her friends! she had arranged with Colin and Jannette to meet by the lake.
She stood from her bed then, and looked to her wardrobe searching for something practical to wear. Living under a lake sometime had some disadvantages, like for example, how would she know about the weather outside? She turned her gaze towards one of the windows. Some rays of sun seemed to pass through the water's surface, Maybe it's sunny outside, She figured. Then opted for a simple black dress, her jeans jacket and her favorite black converses that she had personalized with painted stars and a crescent moon. She decided to let her hair lose this time, with her curled locks dancing at the middle of her back.
She was particularly on a good mood today. She had found her place here among her "snakes" friends. All different personalities but she had the feeling that they were building quite a team here and a lot of promises of funny moments and plans were definitely being made! When she got to the Common Room, she looked around looking for some familiar face, not recognizing non as one of her friends she decided to go for her breakfast. Maybe they're already there, she thought while getting out through the Slytherin's door.
Once at the Great Hall, she picked up a mug of coffee and some toast, seeing that her friend were also not there she realized that she had slept to much this morning and was probably loosing their first dive into the Great Lake, Did I slept that much?, she wondered looking at the wall at the old clock, it was ten in the morning, It's a decent hour for a Sunday morning, isn't it?. After finishing with her toast she got up from her seat and went half walking, half running through the corridors that led outside to the Great Lake. Was when she found Colin and Jannette already on their way to the school's exterior, "Hey guys! Wait for me! I'm sorry I got a little late!", she shouted to them, making quick steps to catch her friends.
Once they arrived to their destiny a beautiful blond girl was already there on her blanket, writing something in what looked to be a journal. When she saw their group coming, she stood up and waved to Colin. Apparently they were friends. She looked older then them, perhaps a second year like Colin? She had a calming presence and she made Irina thought about sunshine and sweet flowers. She asked Colin about Irina and Jannette, introducing herself as Bailey Glade a third year Ravenclaw. The girl stretched her hand towards her and the brunette girl on her side, Irina took a step further and closed her hand on Bailey's, "Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Irina Sousa, first year Slytherin! It's really a nice Sunday today isn't it?" She answered the girl with a smile and then looked at the sunny sky closing her eyes enjoying the sun light on her face.

"Arrrreeee we t'ere ye'?!" Jannette groans, following behind Colin McCoire wondering why the boy wanted them to meet at the Great Lake. She remembered faintly about it being somewhat important, but in all honesty, the Niffler was in a cranky mood. For one, she has to walk long distances to someplace she's never really been to, and second, the worst thing, she hasn't had any desert in her system. Like, how is she supposed to function at full energy, with no sweets? "Why can' we jus' mee' somewhere cloOOooOoooser... Loike dah Grand Halllll??! Yuh know t'ehyre servin' Monstuh Boohk Ice Creahm Sandwiches today!"1 The girl says in a pouty manner.
Jannette would drag her feet from the Grand Hall into the courtyard, it felt like she has been walking for days, and her feet are getting tired now. "♪ ARrrRrrreee weeee t'errreee yeee', AaaaAAaarreeee weee t'erreee yeee'!?~ ♪" Singing obnoxiously, the brunette is now giving off huge little sister energy. Over the past month, the relationship between Colin and Jannette was wholesome, to say the least. On her first day at Hogwarts, it was obvious the two were going to have a problem. I mean hell, it was because of Colin, that Jannette had her whole outburst in the first place, but -- as time went on and the two got to know each other, the Niffler sees Colin as more of an older brother than an enemy. Though what's more surprising about this whole situation, was how Colin has had the patience of Merlin to be able to handle Jannette.
Heading over to the Great Lake, Jannette felt like this was taking forever. Where was Colin even taking us? Are we going to the Forbidden forest? And where the heck is Irina?!
"Hey guys! Wait for me! I'm sorry I got a little late!"
Man it's like she times it perfectly! "E'llo Irina~" Jannette says, brushing a strand of hair as they continued along the shores of the lake. As they slowly and surely continued walking, a girl with what looked like platinum blonde hair and a huge fashion sense got up slowly. She looked to be maybe a fourth year, but Jannette couldn't be sure, but one thing she did know, was the girl wasn't in Slytherin.
“Hey Colin! I was just wondering if you would be outside today, and figured I’d bump into you! Who are your friends? My name is Bailey-Bailey Glade. I’m a third year, Ravenclaw, and a friend of Colin!"
Okay, so the two obviously know each other. This was the first time Jannetter ever actually got to know a third year, and she wasn't going to mess this up. While Irina shook Bailey's hand and introduced herself, Jannette on the other hand was a little bit more cautious, knowing that this was an obvious test by Colin and Bailey and Irina instantly fell for the easiest blunder in all of Hogwarts.
"Oi'm Jannette Applebottom!" She said, pointing to herself. Instead of giving Bailey a normal handshake, Jannette would accept the test that Colin and Bailey gave her and playfully attempts to slap Bailey's hand from the back of her hand, then the palm, then the back of her hand again then to the palm. Jannette would then form her hand into a first and fist bump Bailey's hand up and down. Once finished, the brunette would wiggle her hand away as she'd make an explosion sound, "Bhhooooooooommmm!" Oh yeah, her popularity is definitely gonna skyrocket now...

"OWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Colin howled as he skipped through the Courtyard and onto the grassy grounds beyond. His long blond hair and drab green kilt bounced merrily as he danced around Jannette Applebottom. And his satchel danced about slung off his right shoulder. Goodness the girl was slow and cranky this morning! "Come alang Niffler! Ye're carpin like an auld granny!"
Colin ran ahead and turned to look back at Jannette, then ran back to her laughing all the way. "Jannette!! Tis almost ten! A've been oot since five! A've run up te the high meadows and back down! Twice! And I fought the dark Liche King both times! He lost by the way. A sent hem packin back into the Dark Forest! Have ye been te the Dark Forest lassie? We should go exploring! They say there's dragons and unicorns and even werewolves in there! Ye don't want to get lost and lorn in there. Sometimes kids never come out again! Or --- at least no in one piece, if ye ken ma meaning!"
Colin hummed softly as he skipped about a little slower to accommodate the Niffler and her grousing. She'd already complained about missing out on some kind of ice cream. He hoped she'd be happy with the treats he snagged from the great hall at breakfast time! They might be a little jostled and jangled about in his satchel, but still perfectly edible, and most likely delicious!
Then she started up a queer chant "♪ ARrrRrrreee weeee t'errreee yeee', AaaaAAaarreeee weee t'erreee yeee'!?~ ♪" Colin thought that was funny! It was a kind of sing-song chant. Clearly the poor girl they'd be walking for weeks! He decided to play along!
Colin threw his arm around Jannette's shoulder, like he would with his little sister Ciarán, and joined in her plaintive lament: "♪ AAAaarrRRRrreee weEEe therrreee Yeeet, AaaaAAaarreeee WEEeee therreee yeeet!? ♪"
He began to wonder if Irina would ever show up. She probably slept in. Colin could never quite fathom sleeping in. He actually feared what would happen to him as he got older. He knew that the upperclass lads were often cranky and lazy louts who'd rather sleep late than be up with the Sun and run around yapping and howling and having a good time!
It was then he heard Irina calling to them from behind: "Hey guys! Wait for me! I'm sorry I got a little late!"
"Ye're a slowcoach, Irina!" he called over his shoulder with a laugh. "We'll almost there Rina! I can see Bailey waiting for us!" As they approached, he heard Bailey's greeting and smiled in return. "Hey Bails!"
He watched as first Irina then Jannette introduced themselves. Irina shook hands with Bailey --- he learned last year that shaking hands wasn't just a muggle thing, but wizards did it too. He was still used to bowing when he met someone, but had learned how to grab someone's hand and shake it proper as well.
Colin's eyes popped open wide as Jannette introduced herself and began a level ten muggle handshake! "WHOA! Niffler! Are you a muggleborn, or did you learn that hand waggling thing from one? That was wicked brilliant! Can you teach me too?" He tried to imitate her. He flopped his left fist up and down and his hand all round in a circle. "Is that right? I've never seen a load of finger dancing and hand flopping before!"

Releasing @Colin McCoire from the hug, Bailey introduced herself to the two girls.
The first girl, clad in a simple black dress, jean jacket and converse’s with painted stars and a crescent moon. Her hair was curly, and hug to about the back of her back.
She had like an elegant style, one that Bailey was slightly jealous of, but in the best way.
Smiling as the girl introduced herself as @Irina Sousa, a first year snek.
“it truly is a delightful Sunday, especially since I have new friends now! Bailey agreed with Irina, before reaching out to shake the other girls hand as well.
Bailey smiled again when she heard the other girl introduce herself as @ Jannette Applebottom. It wasn’t the name in particular that made Bailey smile, but the girls delightful accent.
When Jannette began a muggle secret handshake of sorts, Bailey laughed and played along.
It was nice to know that Colin’s friends, and now baileys new friends, were as lightHearted and playful as Colin was.
Hearing Colin speak, Bailey turned to see him flopping his hand around, exclaiming about needing to learn that handshake.
“Ay we could even make up our own!” baileys said playfully, waiting to see the excitement on Colin’s face that she was sure would appear.
Plopping back down on her picnic blanket, Bailey gestured at the space around her and said welcoming “Feel free to sit, stand or lay down on here!! I have plenty of room. Also, if you get hungry I’m sure I have something in my bag… I always do!”
In fact Bailey had several treats in her bags including some homemade Java cakes, a few sausage rolls, some of her triple chocolate scones as well as some muggle and magical candy.

Irina senses were right, Bailey was a nice and warm person. She greeted Colin with a hug and shook her hand with a smile full of kindness. She even called Irina and Jannette her friend already, She's a sweet!, Irina thought about the blonde and beautiful girl. She was caught by surprise though when Jannette started to make the most awkward handshake she had ever seen in her life. How does a person take so much of her time to simply greet someone will remain a mystery to her! But apparently Bailey and Colin had loved and appreciated the gesture...since both got so much curious about it. What a silly waste of time! She thought amused with what she was seeing. Colin specially was really excited about all the complexity in it. Irina couldn't do anything but laugh of her friend's attitude. Both Jannette and Colin are real rarities of joy and playfulness, she felt lucky in having them as such close friends. The more she realized how much she likes her friends, the more she's feeling guilty about keeping secrets from them. But she couldn't tell them right? It was to soon and she didn't want to lose them so quickly. Irina never had this kind of relationship with others outside of her family, and she wanted to keep them close as much time as it would be possible. Eventually, she would have to prepare herself to tell more about herself, she knew she would not be able to hide it from them forever. Well...but it want be today! she thought dismissing her spiral of worried thoughts.
Irina sighed deeply and focused on the present moment. Bailey was inviting them to sit on her picnic blanket and offering them some snacks. Irina had just finished her breakfast so wasn't feeling that hungry, but she smiled back at Bailey, "Thank you Bai! Can I call you Bai? It's very kind of you to share your blanket and your treats!", Irina said to her new friend while sitting down at the comfortable cover.

Congratulation Jannette, 10 house points to Slytherin. Her first test to impress a THIRD-YEAR of all years was a success! So far, almost two months into Hogwarts, made friends with a second year, and now a third year, by the end of the year Jannette's gonna be friends with the whole school! To even make things better even Colin was impressed by her level ten muggle Applebottom handshake!
"WHOA! Niffler! Are you a muggleborn, or did you learn that hand waggling thing from one? That was wicked brilliant! Can you teach me too?
Jannette would look at Colin with innocent bliss, seeing the boy try to do her handshake with his fingers. She was sorta surprised that they seemed to enjoy her weird first-year ways, it reminded her of the times her mom would introduce Jannette to her friends, though instead of amazement, her Mothers friends would just laugh at the weird antics of Jannette.
Is that right? I've never seen a load of finger dancing and hand flopping before!"
The brunette tried to hold herself from laughing. The way Colin did the handshake was funny and luckily for Colin, Jannette wasn't a Professor cause if she was, he would have definitely him a T! "NOOoooOOoooo~" She'd drone, her voice still seeming a little cranky, "Firs' yah goooo loike dis," She'd move her hands, "Deeeen DIISSSSS" She emphasized, slapping her hands, "Den dah BHHHOOOOOOOOO!" She then went closer to his face before doing the explosion with her hand

"Food?! Bag?!" Those are really the only thing Bailey had to say before Jannette darted over to the picnic blanket at mac 5 speed! For a stranger it seemed pretty weird for a girl, to just say two words before randomly spriting to food, but I mean it's Jannette Applebottom. If you want the girl to pay attention or do anything just give her some sweets, and also, she hasn't eaten anything either! Exploring through the unknown bag, she found a variety of food, including Java cake, sausages, Chocolate scones, and -- 'wait, CHOCOLATE SONES?!'
"Thank you Bai! Can I call you Bai? It's very kind of you to share your blanket and your treats!"
Laying down on the blanket, the Niffler would begin munching on scones like a camel, seeming completely entranced by the food. Irina decided to want to give Bailey a nickname, Bai. Though Jannette liked the nickname that Colin gave her, in fact, Jannette was trying to hold herself from laughing because of the nickname. So talking with food in her mouth Niffler begins to speak. "MMmmm cahn oihhh cahll youh Hayhbahlez loike Cohllen?"1 she says, her paws covered in small bits of chocolate.
