Letter to Ro's grandmother
Dear Nanny,
How are you? Are you doing well? If so, I'm very glad. I don't know if Mom already told you this, but I've been in Hogwarts for about a month, and a lot has happened. First, I got sorted into Hufflepuff, just like you did! I had to take a boat across the Great Lake in a thunderstorm, which was nerve-wracking, but also a little fun! I even made some new friends at the Sorting Ceremony! And a bunch of people in general. Before you ask, yes, I AM doing well in my classes. Well, now I am. I am really enjoying charms, even though I wish I could take Care of Magical Creatures!!! And one more thing: there's a Fall Ball coming up this week! I'm going with friends and I want to be ready. Tell Grandad that I'm doing well(because I am), and also tell Aunt Heulwen that she needn't worry about me forgetting to write.

Dear Rory,
I'm so sorry about my late letter! Post around here takes forever, and it can take weeks to receive and send mail, even wizard mail sometimes. I'm so glad that you got sorted into Hufflepuff, dear! It's very exciting news. I'm glad that you're enjoying your classes, darling, and I'm so happy that you've made some new friends! The Fall Ball sounds very fun, tell me all about it! Both Grandad and Auntie Heulwen believe that you are doing just fine, no need to worry. Thank you so much for writing to me, I'm excited to see how your future at Hogwarts plans out!
