After Reverie finally made it to the Courtyard without waking anyone up, she found a spot by one of the bigger oak trees and sat at the base of it. She made sure her scarf & hat were on good before she pulled out her sketchbook and started sketching her scenery. Reverie had always loves sketching, & whenever she did it, it just seemed like the world faded away around her. Her hands were quite cold, but they remained the soft & delicate touch like always. While she was sketching, she tried to think about why she woke up & hour early before the school even actually started. Reverie stopped thinking about that, & just went back to sketching as the wether remained cloudy & cold. She thought she heard someone else enter the courtyard, but thought nothing of it, as she was too caught up sketching. She did always get a little embarassed sharing her art, as she always found a flaw to pick at. Most of her art was animals, nature, & a couple sketches of people. But on a cold & cloudy morning like this, who could even get up an hour early & go to a courtyard?

I hope you don't mind f I intrude upon this thread!
To the people who knew me, it was a well-known fact that I liked to read. Preferably fantasy(which is why I named my dog Merlin)and mystery, but any genre will do. My favorite book, though, was Lord of the Rings. I had packed it in my trunk. However, I didn't get many opportunities to read anything that wasn't a textbook, so I decided to read early before anybody woke up. It was such a beautiful morning, too- autumn weather is great. I got up early, put on a black and yellow sweater(Hufflepuff pride), grabbed my book, and headed outside. It was a little chilly, but not too cold. It was just right. I made my way to the Grounds and headed to the courtyard, and sat by the fountain, where I began to re-read my Lord of the Rings book. That's when I noticed someone, a girl sitting against a tree. She looked like she was drawing, or sketching. "Hi!" I called, but not too loud. I wondered what a student was doing out this early- isn't everybody else sleeping? Plus, not many people like to sit out in the autumn wind and chilly weather. Maybe the girl was there because of a similar reason to why I was there...

(SO SORRY I DIDN'T SEE THIS UNTIL NOW)

Reverie hadn't heard anyone else come out to the courtyard, & then she heard a "Hi!" She looked up & realized a First year Hufflepuff was reading out here, she had seen her before through the halls, was it, Aurora? Reverie didn't want to be rude, so she just put up her hand & waved a bit, not really knowing what to do. She had always liked to keep more to herself, not that she was shy, she just liked having the company of just her. After she waved, she just looked back down & continued sketching the scenery around her. She new in about a half hour, mostly the whole school would wake up, but she knew she'd be finished by then. Not really enjoying crowds, Reverie had truly hoped she could make it to the Great Hall for breakfast a little earlier than everyone else so she wouldn't have to deal with all of the students flooding in. Although it would be nice to have a conversation with the first year Hufflepuff, she didn't know what to say to spark one. With a little sigh, she started finishing up her sketching.
