Study or Buddy?

"Please tell me I didn't just do that She slowly slid down her seat trying to cover her face which made it even more obvious.

Abi nodded. "Yeah, I suppose so. Their generation did set up ours, though, and it's hard to pick and choose what to listen to." He scratched the back of his neck again, a bad habit of his.
He looked up as she said his name. "Well, I don't really see what's wrong with my hai-" He stopped when her chuckling suddenly turned into a snorting laugh, turning the corners of his lips up into a smile. Her face quickly went red as she sunk into her chair, mumbling something. He tried not to laugh- maybe it was a bit rude to do so at the moment- but he honestly didn't mind.
"I think it's kind of cute," Abi admitted, chuckling. "Everyone's got a unique laugh. You have the type of laugh that would make heads turn towards you- in a good way- and the laugh itself is funnier than the joke, if that makes sense." He couldn't stop his smile, which was both from the curiousness of it all and the feeling that maybe he was talking too much.
"Don't worry too much about it, I quite like it. It's just... unique. You know? Besides, I don't know a single laugh that's considered 'normal'. It's different for everyone. Mine is a little different. But anyway, I'll stop talking now-" He had tried to make light of the situation, make her not feel so bad about her laugh, but now he fretted that he only made it worse. Or embarrased her more.

She knew Abi was trying to make her feel better about it which at the end of the day she did appreciate. Angela wasn't the type of person to rely on people's comments, she was more of the type who only needed herself in situation and didn't need people to rely on. She smiled at him but could tell it was a bit awkward now which she wasn't a fan off.
"Now Abi, let's cut to the chase. This book isn't even that good. It's pretty Cliche in my opinion. She spoke in a more serious tone. Even if she didn't read much it was obvious when it was a bad book due to the lack of details. She stopped reading and looked up. The books all yours's. Have fun with it. She said in a calm tone now.
She didn't know whether she had overstayed her welcome in the library or it was just the beginning. She slowly started to pack her bag up but not as if she was heading anywhere else after. Her reading opinion had changed not by much but perhaps she would be a bit open minded next time she tried to read.
