First letter to the family
Suni stared at the envelope that her hands held, flipping it over again to make sure it had all the information needed. She doesn't really know how it would work, since an owl would be sending the letter, either way, it is something reliable, since it did send her Hogwarts letter not so long ago.
She wasn't foreign to the concept of making letters of course, not only has her family taught her when she was younger, but she also sent letters to her grandparents all the time. Especially to her Nana and Baba, since they were constantly travelling. Checking one last time the contents, she handed the letter to the owl, which quickly took off flying once. Suni just hoped the letter arrived safely.

To my favorite people ever,
I've finally arrived to Hogwarts, or so it seems. It's rather curious, we're staying in this giant castle ( Nana would love it here). The system is unlike any other I've heard, they separate students by qualities, as for me, I've been sorted into the Hufflepuff house! Apparently, it's the home of the loyal, hardworking, and humble, I think you guys would be sorted into Hufflepuff too. There's another three houses, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, but I don't really know what they represent. So I guess I'll have to figure it out!
But anyway, this was unlike anything I've experienced, the sorting I mean, I had to wear a hat which spoke into my mind! And it analyzed me, it kinda felt like the times when I would analyze my own actions at night! But with another voice! I almost screamed to be honest, it was really unexpected, and scary... (((゜Д゜;)))
As for magic, I still haven't been able to practice it, but well, it's been my first day so far, so I don't know exactly what I expected. However, I'm already missing waking up with the sun hitting my face and seeing mum and papa dance as they wait for the pancakes to cook, with granny and gramps watering the orchid... I don't know how I will survive the whole year! To top it all off, I haven't even talked to anyone yet, I think that if I don't hurry up I will rot in loneliness and self-loathing (Not really no, please don't worry, I was just kidding). But anyway, people here look kind and accepting for the most part, so I do hope I get to meet wonderful people.
On another note, I'm so glad I did take some pens and all of that jazz, they use quills here!! I don't particularly dislike quills, as I literally own some! But it seems so unpractical to me! So take that papa! I told you it would come in handy!! Everything here is so old-fashioned, mobile phones don't work here, this is why I'm writing a letter too, not just for the sake of nostalgia... How I wish I could do it for nostalgia, and not because I have no other option. Making a voice note would be more practical, I don't know how I've managed to stay in a coherent order in this letter so far.
Oh! This reminds me, the train ride was really long, my butt hurt when I got off... Then I also had to go into a boat! It was night by then… But the view was pretty, so I guess it's fine! It kinda reminded me of the studio ghibli movies for some reason, I guess the scenery was just that pretty. Such a shame I didn't see mister No-Face though. Wait, actually, never mind... I don't know how I would handle being near No-Face, I would probably freak out. Later in the movie he is really adorable but at first it was... Scary, geez. Oh... And I'm straying for the topic! As I was saying, the scenery was pretty, so I didn't mind spending that much time, however, the longer we went on and on the fewer the data we had! Also, thank you dad for suggesting giving me unlimited data for Hogwarts, even if it doesn't work, I was very entertained during the train ride, so there's that. OH, OH! Yeah, did I mention the boat moved on its own? Magic is so... Well! Magical!
I'm also wondering how you guys could send things back... I guess that you can make the owl wait so you can write an answer? Maybe I should start saving up for an owl instead. You know, you have to pay them, but well, they do give services! By the way, I'm hoping Ma sends me more clothes for the cold because it's unexpectedly breezy here! No wonder the uniform robes were so thick! It's really impressive to see how the temperatures change in the same country.
Anyway, I should stop now, there's almost no page left!!
Sending lots of love,
Your newly favorite witch!!
