Up until this point, Bails, I have to assert my fundamental boyness in stating that I fully support their loud obnoxious noise making! This is perfectly normal and appropriate.

My mum just left for a work thing- she doesn’t usually have to leave, so my grandmother is here watching us. I was telling my brothers not to be so rude and mean you know, talking back, being rude - I just want them to stop I was having a great day till they RUINED IT I JUST WANT TO CRY NOW
My grandmother told me to quite being so rude to my brothers when I told they to sit down for breakfast and they said no they’d eat when they wanted to, and that’s not acceptable - we eat meals as a family.
I told them they could have breakfast now or wait till lunch fo eat, which is what my parents have told them when they do this (though they rarely do) and my grandmother snapped at me to be nice!
So ya- I’ve been up half an hour, had breakfast and currently am hiding in my room supposed to be doing school and instead I’m holding back tears

But from this point, I do have to side with you. When it comes to meals, if you eat as a family, that's what you do! I'm also 100% in favour of starving them into submission. If they don't want to eat what you prepared, they can come back at lunch and try again!

I am sorry your grandma snapped at you though. Herding boys is tough enough. Trying to do it without her authority is pretty much setting you up for failure.

I would get my parents involved when they come home. Just tell them and get your brothers in trouble. You should be in charge when their not there.
