Closed Lunchtime Chat (with less owls) pv Zoe Pearthel Finished

Tesla smiled, glad to be through with awkward conversations, "Thanks again for telling me, even if it did end up bringing the mood down for both of us a bit. Let's just do our best to not compare ourselves to other people! That's all we can do!"

As Zoe finished off her lunch and stood, Tesla gathered up her own dishes and brushed off her skirt, stretching her arms over her head and yawning a bit. "The food here is always so good!"

She joined Zoe, glancing around at where they could walk. The great weather had drawn out all sorts of students, so the walking paths were out of the question, not to mention it was getting much hotter, and she couldn't help but notice the way Zoe was fanning herself in the new heat. "Lets walk by the lake! It should be cooler down there anyways!"

Tesla wandered down to the very edge of the lake, taking a second to stuff her dirty dishes in her bag and pull off her shoes to tie the laces together and carry them in her other hand. "I'm not sure if we're allowed to go in the water, but it's so hot I'm just gonna risk it!" With a skip she waded up to her knees in the water, splashing a bit and hopping through the water, trying halfheartedly to not get any on her skirt, but mostly enjoying the way the slightly murky water rippled around her legs and cooled her down.

Walking around the lake, Zoe was surprised when Tesla entered the water, since her skirt could easily get soaked. But, nonetheless, she joined her, taking off her boots, socks and bag, placing them on the shore. The water was cool and refreshing, and the rocks at the bottom weren't spikey. They were, however slippery, and the gentle waves that hit Zoe made it easy to slip.

After playing around for a bit, and occasionally giving Tesla a playful splash, she got out and kicked as much water as she could off her wet legs. Zoe opened her bag, and took out a cardigan she always kept with her, and used it to dry her legs off properly, and stashed it back. Quickly putting her socks and shoes back, she waited for Tesla to come out, and only once she did, did Zoe remember to check the time. Even though she had her watch on, she had a bad habit of not checking it, and had not realized time had passed so quickly. "Ah, shoot!" She showed Tesla the watch. "I've got to go, I have a meeting in a club I'm in!" Slinging her bag on her shoulder, Zoe gave Tesla a friendly arm sqeeze, and said, "This was fun! We should do it again sometime."

She then ran off, and once she reached the Grounds, she could still see the blonde hair girl in the sun, and gave her a quick wave.
