It was a calm Saturday morning. Since the school uniform was not needed for that day. Eri was wearing a navy blue drawstring hoodie, white jeans, and white high top sneakers.
The brunette walked down to the lake to find herself a place to sit. She had gathered a bunch of big rocks and was going to throw them into the water. Hope fully there wouldn't be to many people around.
Eri found a big rock on the edge of the lake and sat down. She began to toss in pick after rock. She hadn't noticed the person next to her. And she was throwing the rocks very close to the person.
The reason Eri was throwing rocks into the lake was cause she needed to calm down. It was a stress reliever for her. Though she normally threw pebbles, but today she threw big stones today. The splashes were very big and she had gotten herself a small bit wet. Though she wasn't sure if the other person nearby had gotten wet. Though that wouldn't have been good. She didn't need more people mad at her this year. But hopefully the other person was dry cause Eri just noticed her.

Lilith was sitting by Black Lake, reading the Tales of the Beetle and the Bard. It was a nice day on the weekend. Lilith had no classes and free to do as she pleased. Just that morning, she flew around on the Quidditch Pitch for two hours after breakfast for some good fun. Hopefully, Lilith could relax before heading to explore the castle.
She was wearing a long-sleeve black shirt and black leggings as she chilled by the water's edge, her bare feet barely brushing the frosty waters. It was relaxing and Lilith found her mind floating from her book pages and into the air, as if she was still on her broom practicing some simple Quidditch.
"Oi!" Lilith barked, jumping from her spot as icy cold water splashed on her. She turned from to the other first year, who had been throwing rocks into the water. Lilith allowed the soft splashes to fall into background noise, that was until a rock got a little too close.
"What's wrong with you?" Lilith shouted, ringing the water from her shirt and pointlessly trying to brush it off her pants. Her book was soaked and probably ruined. That's going to be an awfully stressful conversation to have with the librarian. "Maybe you should be more careful next time you throw rocks around people!"

Eri Just looked up and shrugged. "Maybe you need to pay more attention to your surroundings." Eri threw the last rock and stood up. She wiped her hands together as if she was getting dust off of them. She walked up to the other girl. And eyes her suspiciously. "I see your a bit more wet then I thought." She smirked. The girl was pretty wet. And it was a bit funny seeing how angry she was.
Eri wiped the hair out of her face and crossed her arms. Then she started to walk back towards her rock that she was previously sitting on and sat back down. She picked up another stone and purposefully threw it towards Lilith and smirked as it splashed her. "Oops." Eri snickered and looked back at the Lake. Maybe she could throw more water on her somehow, or maybe she should stop. It was probably a good idea to stop before she made the girl super mad. She was already mad, but she didn't want her to be super mad. The brunette turned and looked at Lilith again with her emerald green eyes sparkling with mischief. She wasn't sorry that she got the girl wet.

Anger shot off inside of Lilith was a firework, making her azul eyes alight with lightning and her fists clench. She gritted her teeth inside her mouth, her jaw contracting. How dare this girl to continue to splash water upon her? Once was a mistake, Lilith could understand that. On purpose though? Now she would have to completely change her clothes.
Lilith wished she knew some hard hexes to teach this girl a lesson, but maybe another time. She scanned the short-haired Ravenclaw in front of her. For an eagle, she was sure an idiot to mess with her. Usually, Lilith put people off, but she must have only been lucky enough to meet kind people her past time at Hogwarts. Or maybe this girl just strived to be a jerk to her.
"What's wrong with you?" Lilith hissed, pulling up her already wet sleeve and dunking her hand into the water, splashing it onto the girl repeatedly. "Kind of cold, ain't it?" Lilith mocked, rage this flowing smoothly through her veins. She splashed her more, getting the rock wet as well.
Hopefully that'll get the rock slippery enough that she falls into the water, Lilith thought, a flare of satisfaction growing inside of her.

Eri just shrugged. The water actually felt good. Maybe she should jump in just to spite this new girl. "Not really. Should I jump in and splash you or just call it even?" Eri wanted to give this a fair shot, though the girl would probably say neither then Eri would jump in. The Rick was a little wet, but Eri just stood up and hopped off the rock. She shook the water out of her hair before approaching this enraged girl. An idea formed in her mind. Maybe she should introduce herself and shake her hand then shove her in the water. But she decided not to. What if the girl had the same idea and shoved her into the water?
Instead Eri stood five feet away from this Gryffindor girl. "You kind of made it easy to pick on you. Since your anger kind of exploded. But I'll stop if you want." The brunette shoved her hands into her pockets and studied the girl. She could try to make friends with her, but that would take a lot to get back up there. But anyways it was funny seeing that look on her face when she got mad.

Easy? Lilith's anger grew. The arrogance of this girl was one of the most Gryffindor Gryffindor and Lilith hated it. She needed to be the one in control of the situation, not this girl. Now she was making threats to splash her again. Go ahead, Lilith wanted to say. I'm already wet and there's no more damage you can do.
The girl now wanted to be friendly with her? After getting her all wet multiple times and not seeming the least bit sorry? She didn't even seem afraid of Lilith, which drove her nuts. At least the girl was shorter than her. That was something, but at the moment it didn't give Lilith any comfort. Goosebumps broke out across her skin beneath her wet clothes, which clung to her like all the snow in the Arctic was piled up above her. It may have been a nice day, but it wasn't nearly hot enough to dry her clothes. For all she knew, her cltohes were ruined.
Despite all that, Lilith offered her hand to the girl. "Lilith Westlocke." She introduced herself. "I'm impressed. No one usually stands up to me so bravely like that. Are you sure you aren't a Gryffindor?" Lilith's lips stretched in a wide smile.

Eri looked at the girl's outstretched hand. "The name is Eri Windstone. Maybe I get called brace a lot. Though I'm not sure I should shake your hand. Could be a trick, but what's getting wet even more." Eri said the last half to herself. Then took a few steps towards Lilith and cautiously grabbed her hand. Then she quickly planted her feet to make it a bit harder to pull her into the lake. Eri shook the girl's hand and studied her. Maybe she was not as rude as she looked, but she wasn't scary. But Eri normally never got scared.
Thoughts began to race through her brain. Was this girl a Potential Friend, or a time bomb going to explode every time she gets angry? Eri wasn't quite sure, but hopefully she could not upset her very much. Though Eri could be quite sarcastic and probably annoy her, but she could try to keep that under control.
Eri had a small plan for if Lilith pulled her into the water, but she had to wait and see if Lilith would pull her into the water? With a grin on her face, Eri waited to see what Lilith would do.

Lilith gave a half grin back at the girl, the only genuine thing she has done this whole faulty polite exchange. The girl's feet were planted steadily and Lilith blinked slowly. It was as if the girl didn't trust her? After she was the one to splash her? Smart. If it was Lilith in that situation, she wouldn't have shaken her hand, to begin with.
The girl seemed like she was being genuinely nice. She was smart too. Maybe she was a Ravenclaw. Lilith couldn't help but think the trouble they could potentially cause together. Then she thought back to being splashed repeatedly and treated like it like some type of prank-victim.
"Pleasure," Lilith said as she had many times before. Her azul eyes flashed with a mixture of anger and mischief before she yanked the girl closer to herself and checked her towards the water, where they stood on the edge, letting go of her hands and getting clear. It was just as if Lilith checked someone off their broom during a game of Quidditch.
"It really has been a pleasure," Lilith said, ringing out the sleeves of her dark shirt, heavy with water. "Maybe in another life I would have liked your mischief, but not when it's directed towards me. But it was very nice to meet you, Eri Windstone."

Eri landed in the lake then sank a little into the water before swimming the short distance and stood up and walked out of the water. She shook her hair dry. Though it was a bit strange instead of being mad Eri was smiling. "Of course. Now that we are even... want to cause some mischief and prank some other people?" Eri walked up to Lilith and wrung the water out of her sleeves. "I won't prank you again. Unless you get on my bad side." A flash of dark anger appeared in her eyes, the kind of look a predator gives its prey before catching and killing it, or the look of an kid who is dark and wants revenge and will do anything to get it. Then the look goes away and Eri grins like nothing happened. "But that won't happen yet hopefully. Though you seem like you could do some fun pranks. And cause some good mischeif. Though my brothers wouldn't like me having a friend who helps with ALL the pranks I do. I have done A LOT of pranks." Eri stood and blushes. "Sorry got a big excited I will be quiet now" She crosses her arms.

Lilith matched the Ravenclaw's own dark look with one of her own, but it went away as quickly as the wind changes. She was glad that the girl didn't continue to splash her or push her into the water, but she didn't put her defenses down. Now, it was just an easy conversation with a hint of danger of being pushing into the icy cold lake. Her face was now back to its usual monotonous expression as she pursed her lips. "You want to prank people?" Lilith arched an eyebrow. "Isn't that kind of childish?"
The twinkle of mischief that alighted in Lilith's eyes betrayed her words. Usually, she prefers to trick people during a conversation with sly underhanded comments and phrases to manipulate others into revealing what she wanted. Lilith was more into sleight of hand, under the table sort of work that could be labeled under pranking.
"But I don't know," Lilith rubbed her chin as she paced back and forth a few steps in front of her fellow soaked girl. She never didn't know anything. "I can understand the enjoyment of it, but with you? I think you might hold me back. All you've shown me so far is that you can splash water and be annoying. I haven't been impressed yet. "
