Uneventful Ride Closed

Jonathan sat in an empty compartment and set his luggage down. He didn't pack much and he didn't have a pet so there was plenty of room for anyone who wanted to share. He waited a while for anyone who might want to sit with him. Many students passed by and even glanced at him a few times but no one chose to share his compartment. The train started moving and everything quietted down for a bit. Once the train had settled into a steady pace the passengers began to move about again. Jonathan wondered why no one chose to sit with him and he got up to explore a little bit. As soon as he stepped out of his compartment he immediately realized why. In the window of the compartment directly across from him was a large spider. He was not particularly afraid of spiders but it wasn't like he was fond of them either. Especially such a large one. The thought of that massive thing crawling on him made him shudder and he decided to close the doors to his compartment and sit back down. He gazed out the window to watch the beautiful scenery go by and eventually he fell asleep. He didn't wake up until he felt the train jolt to a stop. They had arrived! Jonathan immediately felt energized with excitement and he quickly grabbed his bags to exit the train.
