Hello Sophie and Nicole! This is Aurora(or Ro)! I really like Charms class, but I dislike Potions. I really want to do Care of Magical Creatures, and this class I heard about called Study of Ancient Runes. I don't participate in the special events, but I really do want to be a broom racer! I hope it happens soon! I do have a pet, in fact! She's a brown rat, named Cocoa.

Dear Sophie and Ro,
Hello! It's nice to meet both of you--this is Nicole. I like potions, but I dislike defense against the dark arts. I don't participate in any so far, but I'm thinking about it, so I guess we'll see! I don't have any pets, but I want a cat (or maybe an owl?)! Hopefully, I'll be able to get one soon!
Some questions for you guys are:
- Do you have any siblings? (I have two, an older one named Juliette, and a younger one, George)
- How are you finding Hogwarts so far? (I'm loving it, but it's so big! And I'm muggle-born, so I'm totally new to all of this.) Do either of you have older siblings or parents who told you about Hogwarts and what to expect, or is this new for you, as well?
Best,
Nicole

Dear Nicole and Sophie,
This is Ro! I do have a sibling. I have an older brother named Sammy. He's a 4th year Hufflepuff at Hogwarts. He's not very helpful when it comes to navigating the castle. Speaking of the castle, I love it. It gives me opportunities to learn and discover more, as well as make new friends. I often get lost, but that's okay. Hogwarts is definitely full of surprises that I was not prepared for! This is all new to me, even though my mother was a witch at Hogwarts(Ravenclaw).
Ok, my turn to ask the questions:
-What was life like for you before you came to Hogwarts? (I basically lived the life of a regular muggle, went to muggle school, etc. I also have a dog named Merlin and a muggle friend named Dahlia.)
-Bringing me to my next question: Did you have any friends at home? Were they wizards, or muggles? Did you have to leave them when you went to Hogwarts?

Hi friends!
Thanks for your reply! I have no siblings, I'm an only child. I have 2 cousins though. They're kind of mean but I think they care about me. I had almost no friends pre-hogwarts even at muggle school. I did have 1 friend I think, her name is Marga. But she had like one thousand other friends so birthday parties were kind of a problem. My overall favorite class is Charms because I find it more useful than other classes. Herbology would take second place, I might have a chance in potions, maybe not. I don't really like transfiguration. I don't get why turning something into another is even useful. I'll probably never use transfiguration spells. My mother was sorted into Ravenclaw, too, she was really good at Charms too. I think she might teach me at home if I ask her, or maybe she wants to leave the teaching to the schools

Hello!
Life before Hogwarts was a normal muggle life for me. I was raised by muggles, so the first time I'd heard of magic was when I got my letter, and, I must admit, I didn't believe it at first. I mean, it sounded like a fairytale, not real life. It still seems a little crazy people live like this everyday, normally! But I'm happy to be a part of the wizarding world, now.
All of my friends before Hogwarts were muggles--from the orchestra I played in, school, or softball, which I played before Hogwarts. We were a pretty close knit group (I had very different groups of friends--from all three places I'd meet them, so I always tried to split my time between them, just so I didn't have to make awkward introductions, though, the times I did introduce them went well), so, thankfully, birthday parties weren't too much of a challenge for me--I knew everyone there. But I think it'd be horrible to not know anyone! I'm not very good with meeting new people, so I don't think I'd fair too well. I did have to leave my friends when I went to Hogwarts, and, unfortunately, I can't owl them personally, or tell them about Hogwarts. Instead, I send letters in care of my mother; they all think I'm at a boarding school, which is the truth, just not all of it.
I hope you don't mind my asking, Sophie, but what was it like to grow up with a mother who was a witch, and who'd been to Hogwarts? It seems like it'd be interesting, but I suppose it's just normal for you.

Dear Nicole and Ro,
My dad was a muggle and my mother was a witch. I don't think my dad really cared if she was a witch because I'm sure he'd turn himself into a wizard if he could. Mom hardly used magic in our house, because all our neighbours were muggles and our houses are designed that you can see into the other person's window. I spied on my neighbours before, mainly because I had nothing better to do. I soon found out that muggle life was basically an even more boring version of my pre-hogwarts life.
My life is still sort of boring, but I think it'll turn around when my first broomracing match is here.

Dear Ro and Sophie,
It's so exciting that you're doing broomracing! I hope all goes well with your first match and wish you luck, if it hasn't passed already! If it has, I hope you did well! I'm not currently involved in any sort of sport at Hogwarts, and don't know if I will ever become involved in one--I'm not a huge fan of heights, and that's pretty much what Quidditch and broomracing are all about.
Besides, I don't think my mother would be to pleased if I suddenly took to flying around on a broom; she's very much your classic muggle, I suppose.

Dear Sophie and Nicole,
I think that broom racing is very exciting! I'm hoping to do it myself soon because I think it would be very fun. But first, I need to learn to fly. My first flying lesson went very badly, I thought that my broom hated me. But, I know I'll get better. Plus, Nicole, if you don't want to do something involving a broom, you could try dueling! I once(accidentally)stumbled upon a dueling match, and it looked pretty intense. I think my mother would like it if I took up broom racing- my father might, though. He doesn't really like sports.
Hope your match goes well, Sophie! I'll be there!

Hi Nicole and Ro,
It's nice hearing from both of you! I think we should meet in person, somewhere in Hogwarts since I am too lazy to walk to Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley. Oh yeah and I should mention that I'm only in my second year and I'm using a fake permission slip to get into Hogsmeade.

Note: I will try to knock someone off their broom in my next match.
I forgot to tag you guys (girls). You will likely not see the notification sorry.
