Create your main character - This would be your main protagonist. Tell us about them - what do they look like, where did they come from, what are their strengths and weaknesses and what are their flaws. Why are they in this story and what do you want them to gain from their adventure? Be as detailed as you can regarding this. Please provide a description of at least 500 words.

D

Set your commitments or make a timetable/schedule - How often are you able to write in a week and how many words are you able to write? Giving yourself a goal or a limit can help you pace yourself as you write. No word requirment for this task.

Restrictions:

- Because this will be published IC in the universe and on-site, this cannot be a Harry Potter fanfic as
it will take too much time for the moderation staff to monitor and review to make sure that the writer adheres to the canon. This cannot be an AU story of this community that uses the players here, these players belong to their owners (their writers).

- Since the prep + story will exist on the site, it still needs to follow the site ratings in both threads.

Task A

Ace fell in love with a sport when he was 10, when he saw it on the tv his family owned. He decsided then and there that he wanted to play that sport, and become one of the best players in the world. Everyday for 5 years after school he would pratice, His mom ordered him a ball to use. A volleball that was the name of the game. There were a few problems he would come to face on his journy to become the best. Can he over come these challenges?

Problem #1-

No team. For this game you need at least 6 players to be on court, with this he was just about postitve that he was the only one on the island that knew about this sport. So Ace would have to gather up a group of people that wanted to play the sport along with him on his team. Not to mention teaching them how to play, and what to do when they play.

problem #2-

Who would they pratice agenst? This could be the bigest isue... If he gets a team, and if they can sorta play, Who would it be agenst? would they have to make the trip to the mainland everytime they wanted a pratice game? That could be pricey... He was only 15. How could he aford it?

problem #3-

Equement, The balls, The gym, the uniform, and the knee pads. SO PRICY!! Theres no volleball court in his school, that was the least of there worries. No court ment no volleballs, What were they ment to use for pratice? Baskeballs? No way. it had to be volleballs. Ace and the team have to come up with some way to make money to get the things they need to become the best team in the world.

He now has 3 problomes to over come. He needs to now come up with 3 soultions. Can he do it? Get a team, nessasry pratice, and the right eqmpment? You bet he can.

Task B

Phase 1

Here is the beging of our story, Were it will start with Ace finding Volleball. Then flash forward to highschool, were he will try and start up a volleball club. With posters, and convising his princable to let him. He works hard here to make the posters with his less then avrarge art skills, luckly his grandfather, mother, and sister help avrtize the club!! Luckly some people are acutly intrested in the club, A lot more then he expted. Someone named Jake, who is prety fast, A boy called Monty that can jump surpisly high. there are also a lot of other tall guys intrsted as well!! He even got some one to be the teams coach. Ace's hopes are high, and hes ready for whats to come.

Phase 2

He has his team!! now the hard part. Dose anyone here know how to play? no..? not even a little bit? damn... Him and the coach must now teach everyone how to play from scratch. Grate. He had a felling this would happen, before he can teach them anything tho they need equempent. Lots of it. Right now all they have is Ace's ball that hes had since he was 10. Monty has an idea.... Selling lemonade, to get some extra cash, Just those 'summer job' esc things. That they can do as minors, the ball alone is $15.00 for one, The nets can be anywere from $50.00 to $120.00. It will take a while, And hard work. due to people seing how hard they are working, They wanted to help out in terms of donations; the team is able to get there net! and all the volleballs they need!! Theres still a bit of stuff they need, that they can get on there own, for now this can do; and they can finaly start to pratice!!

Phase 3

After a lot of work they can begin to pratice, Its a lot harder then expted. With only one person on team knowing how to play. Thankfuly the coach knows. So thats two that knows how, They have to teach every little thing. Not to mention fuiger out what postions everyones going to play. some are a bit more obious then others. Speeking of potions! They dont know what they postions do, let alone are. -dissapointed sigh- How is he going to do this? He is starting to lose motavation... And hope, He cant do his job on the team at 100% if everyone eles isnt? The team sees this, and pratices harder!! Finaly they are getting how things are going, what dose what, and who dose what. They can start to play. This is amazing!! hope restored.

Phase 4

They can start playing now!! or can they? there is no one to pratice agenst aside from thereselfs with sucky 4 v 4s. How can they pratice as a full team with no one to go agenst? Theres always the mainland... But how to get there? There really isint a question, they have to go by boat. But paying for the boat tickes, not to mention finding a team that will be willing to play agents them. Ok - that part wont cost much, but the boat.... "My aunt had a boat she will be willing to share with the team" They have transportaion!!!!! theyre like a real team now.

Phase 5

Time for there pratice game, Sadly no jersys just yet. So they just have some green t-shirts that have the schools mascot on it. Dosent matter to them, they have a game! They can finaly pratice all together. As a team, agenst another team. Its sudenly fealling so real. Ace is one step closer to his goal. At being the best, It might be a small step. But it still is a step!! They are able to do 4 pratice games agenst the other team, Of those they only won one match. The other team was super nice about it tho! everyone, even the other team, thinks that they will have more games. That was the start of a good long lasting friendship.

Writing goals--

week one: complete phase one & two, begin work on phase 3

Week two: Finish phase 3, 4, and hopefully 5

Week three: Work on the rest of the phases that I have yet to come up with.

Week four: Finish anything that hasn't been completed, the goal is to have at least 50,000 words done here.

~ the main charater aka task 3/C ~

Ace Pillar

Looks

Ace is very tall standing at 6'2" 1/2, He has slightly messy dirty blond hair, It is a bit curly as well. His hair goes just a little past his neck, He likes to keep his hair at that exact style and will give himself small haircuts in his room to keep it that way. His skin is a bit tan, and absolutely covered in freckles. They are very noticeable. He has 3 ones in particular on the back of his had that form a triangle when they are connected. He would know as he let some friends connect the dots, only because they wouldn't stop asking. He has light brown eyes, nothing special there.

Ace grew up in a city called Aermeet, The city was on an island off the shore of california, The Evergreen Land is what its called. He was born from Ann Pillar and Miles Pillar, who he loves dear. Aces only sibling is his adopted sister! Shes a ginger girl aged of 7 her name is Camellia. Ace loves his sister, she comes to all of his games. Well- she tries to! sometimes she has her own activities she cant miss. His mother runs the only Girl scout troop on the island, and shes in it. They are always doing service projects so they cant make it all the time. But they sure do there best!! The rest of his family aside from his grandparents on either side, live on the mainland.

What roll he has in this story hes the main character, he will be the one that moves the story forward. He makes the story, with starting the volleyball team and him teaching everyone how to play. He really is the one that makes everything click, If he wasn't in the story it would just be a bunch of people going to highschool. He quite literally makes the book. I would like him to learn a lot through his adventure, How to work as a team, How to be a leader he will be the captain of the team, How to save up for what he wants, and hard work to reach his goals.

In his adventure he will probley change his likes and disslikes. I could be rude and end the story when hes like third best. Close to his goal. But not quite there, not sure how ill end it... But he will defently get a lot better!! Along with the team haha.

Looks

He is 5'11". And does not claim to be 6'0" Hes 5'11" And ok with that, looks wise he is very pretty, all the girls in his class say so. He has short neat dark brown hair, it only goes half way to his ear. He is semi-pale, And had a beauty mark on his right jaw. Most people don't notice those things right away, as the first thing they see are his beautiful vibrant blue eyes. Just about everyone is shocked when they hear hes only 14, and a freshman.
