Children of the night
Karley was walking in the hallways of Hogwarts with some of the new friends she had made. Of course she had banded them all together. She loved to do that, group a bunch of misfits together so they could become friends themselves, even if she weren't around. She got a certain glory from doing this, helping others out. It was while they were passing a window that Karley happened to look out of that she noticed the group of students outside, perhaps going camping? Karley grinned; she hadn't done that in a long while. Maybe she could join them, if they were accepting new people.
"I'll see you guys later." She quickly raced back to her dorm and grabbed somethings, especially her magic suitcase that holds a wide assortment of prank items and junk food. She grabbed her wand, just in case, kissing it for good luck. Then she casually but hurriedly walked out of the dormitory, heading towards the grounds. Some curious students asked her where she was going but when she said that she got detention from a teacher and they needed any help they could get, they students quickly walked away, to her delight.
Karley soon was jogging clumsily out of the castle, a big grin on her face and her brown hair flying behind her. When she was within hearing distance, she tried to wave at the others, her cheeks red from running. "Hi! Are you guys accepting counselors to your little camp? Who knows if anyone can control a rebellious group who dares to sleep outdoors." She laughed and threw down her suitcase and a little piece of cloth that was shaped like a tent. "I'm Karl."
Karley pulled out her wand and pointed at the small cloth, her lit by the campfire. "Erecto!" The small piece of cloth soon grew into a modern style tent, including pillows, blankets, sparklers, even a cooler. Karley grinned at the other students "I think we should play a game."

Children of the night
Walking out of his dorm the awaken, the composed Slytherin made his way to the ground floor of Hogwarts. He traveled the halls of the somewhat chilling castle. His arms swayed with easy as he wandered the castle until sounds of clapping shoes filled one side of his ear to a corridor to the left of Bellamy. The rushing movements caught his attention completely as barely anything else filled the hollow halls.
Vacating the lifeless castle. Bellamy wasn't sure of where he was wandering off to, He just wanted to investigate where the sound trotted off to. The boy was just bored. Out in the night was the most serene and relaxing thing he could do at this time of the hour. As he made it outside, the sounds pattering sounds of the shoes vanished into the night, grunting at his speed, "Dang it." In defeat, he still continued his wandering as he was already outside. Treading through the grass, Bellamy made his way down to the prevailing Great Lake. Approaching the massive body of water, he observed the glimmering lake, keenly entranced by its sparkle that was reflecting off of the moon, "Beautiful." As the boy gazed at its beauty as he walked, he heard a faint voice in the distance that caught his attention, "Hello," he swiveled his head briskly to pinpoint its origin.
The faint voices continued as he tracked it, "Lovely night ..." the voices got boisterous as he approached the source, Ha ha! He steadily advanced towards the moving shadows that moved over the flickering light base, rustling over the crusted leaves that lied upon the soil, from that the wind blew over. It got more distinct as he closed in, he was able to hear one of the individuals voices, a girl by the looks of it, "Hi! Are you guys accepting counselors to your little camp? Who knows if anyone can control a rebellious group who dares to sleep outdoors?" ..... "I'm Karl." At this point, Bellamy wasn't sure what he was walking into, all that he could tell was that there were a lot of people and they had set up a campsite close to the lake, he guessed. "What am I doing??," as he mumbled under his breath. The thought of wanting to know why they were here, betrayed his normal behavior as he was about to make contact with the group, "Okay, I'm just going to be here for a bit then leave, that's it." With deep regret, he stepped into the light to where they could see him and shook his arms to gain all of their attention and then...he spoke, "Heyy... Whats up?? Mind if I intrude?"

Children of the night
Anyone who was walking along the corridors would hear the faint sound of voices floating up with the wind from the direction of the Great Lake. Isabella just happened to be one of the students walking along the corridors. Upon hearing the voices she instantly sighed. If her hunch was correct it would be her cousin outside at this hour, along with two of her friends.
Changing course, she headed outside and in the direction of the lake. She had overheard Elizabeth talking about a camp out a few days ago, but she hadn’t thought she was serious. With the masked man roaming around, they wouldn’t be safe outside. She shivered out of cold and fear as she remembered her own run in with the masked man, where he had set her on fire at 3 in the morning. It had certainly been an unusual attack He hadn’t seemed like he fully wanted to kill her, but what he did had had a high chance of finishing her.
The smell of smoke filled her nose, and a few seconds later fear flooded her body. If they had somehow managed to burn down the forest, or found a way to set the lake on fire - she wouldn’t put it past them - there wasn’t anything she could do to get them out of trouble. And she hated seeing her friends in trouble. As she got closer, she realised the smoke smell came from the small fire two girls were sitting around. Relief flooded her body as she saw that everyone was safe, and nothing was destroyed. Yet.
As she reached the group she turned to her cousin. ”I honestly didn’t think you were serious about this. Do you think this is safe with the masked man wondering around?” her eyes scanned around the make shift camp ground. They were far away enough from the lake so nothing would get wet, they had a fire going for warmth and there were 6 of them there. Surely the masked man wouldn’t attack them if there were six people there - seven if she stayed. ”Hey, Lizzie, wouldn’t you mind if I stayed?” Coming to a decision, she questioned her cousin. She’d be safe enough with seven of them. Plus if the masked man decided he wanted to pay them a visit she could just sock him in the nose.
She shivered, starting to feel kinda cold in the chilly twilight breeze. The fires looked pleasantly inviting, and she was yearning to feel the warmth of themselves. Looking around, she realised she didn’t know or recognise three of the students there. And two of them were from her own house. The Gryffindor she might be able to excuse herself for, but the two Slytherins? She was meant to know everyone in her house, it was part of her job. Smiling an apology, she spoke to the students she didn’t know know. ”Hi! I’m Isabella. Isabella Hills. But please just call me Bella.”

Children of the night
Lizzie sat inside one of the small tents, still struggling to understand the dynamics of it. She frowned as she was interrupted by the sound of voices that were muffled by the sheet of the tent. ”What’s this?” She said to herself, her curious nature kicking in as she stuck her head out of the flap of the tent.
"Heyy... What's up?? Mind if I intrude?" A dark haired boy said, while stepping out of the shadows. Lizzie studied the boy before answering. ”Sure. I mean, as long as ur not a snitch.” She said. ”Oh! I’m Lizzie by the way.” She added on with a smile on her face.
As it grew darker, Lizzie finally climbed out of her tent - that had become a somewhat of a cave - only to miss the shelter of it as she heard a voice echo behind her. ”I honestly didn’t think you were serious about this. Do you think this is safe with the masked man wandering around?” Lizzie turned her head to see the “one and only” Bella standing before her. ”Oh god...” Lizzie said to herself, before turning back to her cousin. ”Hey, Lizzie, wouldn’t you mind if I stayed?” Bella asked, even though she knew it would be a yes. ”Yeah, sure, why not?” Lizzie responded to her cousin.
While Bella started to introduce herself to the others, Lizzie got up to fulfill her attack. Boof. Lizzie jumped on Bellas back, knocking them both to the ground and causing dirt to rise up around them.”Oof” Lizzie said, while laughing at what she had done.

The scene was filled with excitement and girls doing what Sebastian supposed girls did. It was very weird for the boy, since he wasn't used to people having so much fun, not when his own life up until this point had mostly been tutors and private lessons. In fact, fun for his family usually constituted attending a ball with stiff upper-lip types, who didn't smile and were only concerned with making connections and maintaining reputations. So seeing students partaking in such frivolous activities was both interesting and agitating.
"Oh, no thank you," Sebastian said, when one of the girls asked if he wanted to join. "I've brushed my teeth and I'm not very fond of sweets."
Sebastian gave a thin smile, as the campsite was set up even further. It seemed the care for the potential dangers outside of the castle weren't even important, despite being quite real. So, despite knowing that literally anything could come out of the nearby forest, the camp continued; and Sebastian continued to watch, a smirk on his face, as the other students played and laughed and started enjoying themselves...
When Isabella introduced herself, a Prefect badge on her shirt, Sebastian looked in her direction. While he had been a Prefect a little longer, he hadn't met the other Slytherin student yet, so he nodded.
"Good to meet you, Isabella," He said. "I'm Sebastian. One of the Slytherin Prefects, which is certainly an interesting job at the school... how have you found Hogwarts so far?"
But, before the conversation could continue, Isabella was knocked over by another one of the girls. The attack sent them to the ground, to which Sebastian raised his eyebrows, looking down.
"Are you alright? Also, I don't think it's wise to be out this late..."

Children of the night
Anastasia giggled confused as her friends lay on the ground laughing. What weirdos she thought. Does anyone want to roast some marshmallows with me before it gets to dark? She asked indicating that either Sebastian or Bellamy could join in to if they wanted.
Anastasia wandered off around the lake in search of some suitable sticks that she could shove threw the middle of some marshmallows. The wind blew gently in her hair and the leaves from the trees rustled. A cold chill ran up her spine as she was only wearing a light short sleeved shirt. She folded her arms and scanned the ground for pointy sticks.
About 10 minutes had passed and it started getting even colder. Sadly, she had only found three suitable sticks and that definitely wasn't enough for the seven people at the camp. She moved closer to the lake hoping that some sticks that had fallen into the lake would have washed up to the side. She reached down and could feel the icy cold water on her soft fingers. Slowly moving around the lakes edge very slowly she happened to find only one more stick. A few sharp ones were stuck in the mud which made her jump every time her hand scratched against it. Come on! she said desperately to herself. She felt herself become a little unbalanced on the edge and tried to re-balance herself but couldn't quite move her foot into the position she wanted.
