When Reena realized the ball was coming up, she at first ignored it. She could find an outfit later. But then she realized that she didn't exactly like her options. And the theme- well the theme was great. She could go in pants or something- there was probably a character who wore lazy clothes. Right? But no. And besides, her mom would lose her head if she found out that Reena dressed like she got out of bed for a ball. A majority of the girls were chuffed to finally have a reason to search for dresses. This disturbed Reena. Soon the topics were all about the ball, makeup, hair, dresses, boys. She wrinkled her nose every time the last topic came up.
When she had time to think in classes, she would stare blankly and try to think of what she could wear. This would be so much easier if she still liked dresses. And if she had her muggle best friends. Ugh, she would squeal and dress her up like it was a fashion show. After class, she finally remembered the fashion section of one of the latest articles. She ruffled through her drawer and found the crumbled paper. She crouched on the ground and flipped through it, trying to understand what in the world they were talking about. She looked through more articles and found something. "Best-dressed student." AND he owned that fashion club thingy, didn't he? Well if anyone could help her, KIM could!
Sep. 23, after classes.
Reena didn't even know how to approach him. What would she say? Was this even a good idea? Did she even want to go to the ball? Reena crossed her arms and frowned, waiting for Kim to exit the class. Not even a minute later, the door swung open and students walked out. She spotted Kim and followed him, until she finally sped up and hopped in front of him. "Hi, hey. So you know that ball coming up that everyone is talking about? Yeah well I saw you were nominated for best-dressed student a while back so I need your help." Right to the point, loud and clear.

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | The fall ball had been announced earlier that month. Everyone was excited about it and almost everywhere a person went, they would hear others discussing the event. Finding dates and potential outfits were the things on everyone's minds. Makeup and hair styles came later on, once the former two were taken care of as they were the hardest to obtain first. The latter two only took time. Kim himself was having difficulty choosing between two different types of outfits. Bailey had given him some options but he'd also found one on his own that he kind of really liked. It was a white tailored suit with blue trims that looked awesome. Still, he liked Bailey's black with green designs too. It was hard to choose since both had much potential. But then again, the theme was fairytales. The one he'd chosen fit the theme a bit better. Perhaps he'd use Bailey's suggestions at a later date. Kim's thoughts were on his outfit as he made his way up the winding staircase from the dungeons. Potions was his last class of the day and he'd waited for everyone else to leave first as usual. He'd brought along his enchanted satchel filled with the usual items, parchment paper, quill, inkwell, textbooks, cauldron and everything relating to Potions class, sketchbook, tissues, allergy potion, and a whole bunch of chocolate frog boxes. He always took his enchanted satchel for Potions class. With all the other classes, he tended to take his normal one. Kim made a mental note to buy an enchanted backpack. One of those might be of better use and easier to carry than a satchel with a shoulder strap. Elsian had made good use of his during the prank they'd come up with together earlier that month. Maybe he'd buy one for his birthday, which was coming up in four days. He'd finally be a teen, although that only brought more responsibility down on him. A sigh escaped his lips at the thought and he shook his head. It was around this time that someone suddenly hopped in front of him and he blinked. It was a girl with a straightforward question. Kim let his eyes flicker over her. Ah, it was Reena! He knew her from the Essence of Music Club and the Self-Defense Club. But even though they 'knew' eachother from the clubs, they hadn't actually spoken much. So technically, they didn't really know eachother. Reena had also signed up for two of the clubs Kim himself ran, the Blindfolded Club and the Clumsy Club, both of which he was going to start holding the first meetings of the new year soon. Come to think of it, Reena hadn't answered his owl about her attendance regarding those two clubs. "Reena." Kim said with a nod of his head. Time for a question of his own! "Are you still interested in being part of the Blindfolded and Clumsy clubs?" Kim asked the girl. As for the girl's own question, Kim nodded as his eyes swept over her body quickly, almost unconsciously checking out her outfit just in case. What kind of help did she want from him?
