Closed Twinkle and a Chance Meeting pv Bailey Glade

Entering the library, Bailey found a table and sat down. She was going to sit there, read a little, and then write part of her book she was working on.
After reading a few chapters, Bailey pulled out her notebook and got to writing. The words were really flowing, and half and hour later she had written five or six pages, or about two chapters.
Gathering up her books, Bailey headed out of the library and to her dorm in the Ravenclaw tower.
She was walking down the corridor when she heard a voice.
Turning, Bailey saw a first year, holding Twinkle her cat.
how did… why… what?! Bailey thought, before smiling and saying “That’s twinkle… she’s my cat! I dunno how she got out of my dorm. One of the other girls might have left the door open and then Twinkle just slipped out…. Ahh you little mischief maker! Thank you so much for grabbing her. I never would have found her, if it wasn’t for you! My name is Bailey- Bailey Glade! I’m a third year, Ravenclaw. And you are?”
Smiling, Bailey walked over to the other girl as she spoke, a little worry flickering across her face.
I cannot believe Twinkle got out!!! And I hope I didn’t just overwhelm the first year with information and such… i do ramble at times. I need to figure out how to stop that

The other girl smiled, in relief it seems like, probably because she had found Bailey so easily. Bailey smiled back at her, happy to have met someone new.
“Thanks for grabbing her- she does love to explore. She never thinks she lost, and she could probably find her way back to Ravenclaw Tower, but still. I’d be frantic looking for her once I realized she was gone! So you’ve saved me a lot of panic.”
Bailey smiled, her rambling (well.. almost rambling) filling what surely would have been awkward silence otherwise.
“A rat would be cool! I think you should do it!! All of the animals were so cute- and yes I did get it in Diagonal Alley!”
Tesla said something about Twinkle being a mischief maker since she had wandered all the way from Ravenclaw tower. She seemed to have just put two and two together, but bailey didn’t blame her. The castle could be confusing!
“Ay she does like to wander, roam and explore. Back home in Leeds we had some land and she got to explore outside there. I also took her to Poland with me this summer, and we explored all over together, so she’s having to adjust to being in a dorm all day!”

Bailey was content, happy, until the thought hit her- What if she thinks I’m an irresponsible pet owner because I let her away?
These worries were sent away when Tesla didn’t seemed concerned for Twinkle.
“I had a cat when I was really little named twinkle, but she passed away so technically this is Twinkle the second. So.. just a memorial or sorts, but it seems to fit her too. Plus, my friend @Colin McCoire calls me “Miss Sunshine” so twinkle goes with that I feel like. All of the cats were super cute and so we’re all of the other animals.”
Smiling, Bailey continued, answering Teslas other questions.
“We have some farm animals and some other family animals. I defiantly miss them too- but I’m glad I have Twinkle!
Poland was a lot of fun- I got to eat a lot of food and visit a lot of distant family. It was great!! The weather was really nice, quite mild and great for summer dresses and Breezy clothes, which I loved!!! And I explored, with Twinkle or my brothers. Do you have any siblings? And where do you live- In England? I live in Leeds when I’m not here or Poland.”

Smiling sadly, Bailey said “me too- I miss her, but now I have Twinkle here, so that’s ok! Though … her wandering spirit might become a bit of trouble in the butter, but I’ll figure it out.”
Bailey was still a little down, after remembering Twinkle first, but she lit up just like Tesla did, with the mention of Colin.
“Colin is a lot of fun- he’s one of my closest friends- probably the closest besides Kim. And I have the same problem! I want to get all the animals, it’s hard to just pick one!”
Smiling at that, Bailey realized that Tesla only lived about three or four hours, by car, away from her.
“I think Burford is only like 3 or 4 hours away from Leeds, by car at least.
And Poland is amazing, so nice outside and you barely need Air conditioning. everyone is so nice! And they all feed you everything they know how to make- it amazing- I ate so much!
I have three younger brothers- yep just boys. It’s a lot sometimes but I love them and would do practically anything for them.”
Smiling at Tesla’s next question bailey said “It’s a lot of fun! A lot of work, but any school is like this. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to get through it, but some days you’re like ‘there’s no way I’m going to be able to do this’ but then you do and it feels just amazing!”

Tesla laughed at the mention of Colin, and Bailey joined her, chuckling.
“Hopefully!! I think she might have learned part of her adventurous spirit from @Colin McCoire. Wherever I see him it seems like he’s been up for hours exploring. I don’t know how he keeps up with all of his work and such. I love that about him- he’s definitely one of my closest friends!” bailey smiled, as she always did at the mention of her friend.
When Tesla asked who Kim was Bailey was slightly shocked. Kim seemed to know everyone, as did she. Though, this was her first time meeting Tesla so it was possible that Kim hadn’t encountered her either.
“Kim- he’s my best friend! I met him last year. If you join any clubs you’ll probably see one or both of us- we just happen to be in almost ever club together- though we usually join separately. He’s also know as the Prince of Sweets- we both usually have food on us, unsurprisingly. We both love cooking and baking!”
“We do live close! Same, if I’m headed your way I’ll owl you and maybe we can meet up for lunch or something!”
Smiling at the mentioned of her brothers, Bailey said “They can be a handful, but we get along decently well!”
“I do love classes/ a true Ravenclaw. All Of them are super fun and all of the teachers and staff are great! I’m sure you’ll enjoy the classes! My favorite is probably History of Magic. Do you have a favorite class yet? Have you started class?”
