─────Avery grins at the responses. "I actually really enjoy Herbology so far. I'd help my mother out in the garden sometimes, so it's at least a little familiar, just...with very interesting plants now. Cabbages don't typically scream at you, so that was an adjustment," she chuckles, trying to imagine just that. "Potions has been pretty challenging but fun. When it works, at least." A very important distinction. She shifts to cross her legs and lean back a bit, using both arms to hold herself up and soak in as much sun as she can manage.
The Hufflepuff flashes Bailey a bright smile. "Thanks, I'm hoping to! Might take a look at some of the clubs and such as well." As much as she wanted to do as well as she could in her classes, she still wanted to take in as much of what the magical school could offer outside of just course work. Even from just the little she'd seen so far, the amount of options were very nearly overwhelming. Avery looks over to Keith, nodding. "Reading as well for me when I have the time! I only just started learning guitar from my brother over the summer, but hoping to continue with it." Avery pauses for a moment, looking up to the sky in thought. "Hiking as well on occasion. I've tried my hand at drawing before, but...it was definitely not one of my strong suits," she laughs.
