Sirin held her father's hand tightly. The thought of attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry was certainly something to be excited about, but Sirin still couldn't quite comprehend the enormity of what was to come. After she lost her mother years ago, she couldn't bear to think of leaving her father too. She squeezed his hand tighter. Noticing Sirin's nervousness, her father smiled down at her and reassured her, saying that everything would be okay. Just then, the train pulled into the station. A truly magnificent vehicle, with smoke billowing and the sound of the bells hurt Sirin's ears. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath in as she rolled her cart over to the entrance of the train. She waved goodbye to her beloved father, and tears started flowing from her eyes. As she stepped into the smooth floor of the train, she could feel her past, her pain, all leaving as she stepped into a new beginning. A fresh start for her at a new school, a school of magic. Sirin truly hoped that this "magic" would relieve her pain. She found a seat on the train: a wonderful red, cushioned seat near the window. Placing her valuable items next to her, she stared out the window and took one last look at her beloved father. She wondered when she would ever see him again. Yet, she still remembered his soothing words:
"Everything will be okay."

"I've waited here for you, Everlong" He sung under his breath as he looked around for a free seat, he had learned about hogwarts only a few months ago and he was already thrown into the school by the request of his grandmother and her family so needless to say he was a little bit scared. He hadn't known anything about this world of wizards and witches and so didn't know exactly how to approach his new surroundings.

he kept walking until he hit the end of the train, he knew there wasn't anything useful outside so decided to turn back around, which is when he realized that there was a free spot right beside him he had missed.

"can i sit here?" he asked very bluntly. he had been carrying a guitar in a case the entire time on his back so after 30 minutes of standing up trying to find somewhere he was exhausted and desperately wanted to sit down "i-uh like your hair by the way" he had realized that, with the long hair and slightly tinted glasses she looked similar to someone he had met during one his fathers's band gigs "wait what is your name?" he was starting to have an actual suspicion that they had met before? but had they really? it was hard to tell for him.

Startled, Sirin looked up from her seat. It'd been a long time since she last interacted with a real human being other than her father, and she was too nervous to speak. After a couple awkward seconds, she mustered a few words.
"O-of course you can sit here! L-lemme move my stuff real quick."
The embarrassment had never felt so real. She hastily moved her back and sweatshirt to make room for this other kid. Sirin felt too shy to speak so she simply turned her head away and pulled out a book. She didn't intend to read it, she just wanted something to distract her from any more human interaction. Of course, she also felt a bit of guilt and thought she could have been more polite to the kid.
"Oh, what's your name by the way?"She suddenly asked, without even realizing. Perhaps she did have something in her. A desire to speak, to live.
