I AM FREAKING OUT!!!
I just signed up to sing at open mic night and my town is both highly conservative and highly homophobic and the song I signed up to sing was written by a gay man about another gay man who hasn’t come out yet. I’M AN IDIOT! Although, the only line in it that says it is
“It’s easier for us to hide
If you come out then so will I”
It’s Honest Man by Ben Platt. Am I overthinking things or should I genuinely be worried?
