Vivienne danced into the rehearsal room, very excited for the first meeting. She was wearing a cat t-shirt and colorful leggings. Her pastel hair was in a ponytail. She sang a made-up tune and danced and spun as she came into the room.

Mia, the music director, explained that they needed to decide on a fundraising activity and suggest an idea for a play. The options for fundraising were bakesale, face painting, small show, kid’s drama camp, and one where the group decides on an activity. She didn’t have much to choose from though, since the only option that still had room were small show and group decides. She decided that she wanted to do a small show. In muggle school, Vivienne’s reading teacher sometimes let her honors reading class split up into groups and choose an activity to do with their vocabulary words. She always picked coming up with skits for each word. The small show sounded fun.

Vivienne also remembered that she needed to come up with an idea for a play. She had a couple ideas, one less specific though.

The colorful Hufflepuff raised her hand. ”I would like to do the small show,” she said. ”And I have a couple ideas for a play, though one less specific. The less specific one: It’s really fun playing animals. In fact, I prefer it over playing humans. But I’m not against playing a human. The Lion King was a fun one, but it only had a few major roles, so that might be a problem. My other idea was, I know it’s a movie and not a play, but it could be a play. I was thinking we could do The Greatest Showman as a play. But we’d have to find a way to omit that word from ‘The Other Side.’ I get if my ideas aren’t that good. I haven’t seen many plays, and I’ve only been in three.”

Elora had entered in the midst of the chaos of members finding the room. She had followed the stream of people into the room and was somewhere in the middle of it all. This section of Hogwarts was fairly new to her though, so she had made mental notes of where everything was. Then again, this is Hogwarts. Things are likely to move around and such. 

Elora was wearing one of the sets of clothes she had made. A greyish-blue-black shirt that had billowing, slightly oversized arms and was tucked into a high-waisted yellow skirt. However, now that everyone else had done their introductions it was her turn. People's eyes turned to her and out of habit from all the introducing today, she, well, introduced herself. "I'm Elora, Elora Rook, and erm...I suppose I'll be in the 'group decides' group. And for a play, I personally like Into the Woods, so I'm fine with that. " She concluded. Elora smiled nervously. She still wasn't exactly sure of any ideas for fundraising, she would have to think more about it.

Skye entered the room nervously, and shuffled to a seat near the back. It seemed that she was not the first here. She hung her head. Oh, what a bad impression she had made! It was her first meeting, and she was late!
Skye examined the chalkboard. Her mind raced. Which one would she join? Her gaze darted here and there, as people started choosing their groups. She had always loved playwriting, and so, she would probably be helpful to the Small Show. But her grandmother had taught her to bake yummy muggle 'cookies,' which would probably be popular at the bake sale.
Then she realized that the bake sale was full. Skye pondered over everything for a moment, her detailed Ravenclaw mind weighing the pros and cons of each situation, analyzing every part.

If Skye participated in 'Group Gets to Choose,' she would probably have more stress, especially because there wasn't a hard and fast rule as to what they would do. But if Skye joined the Small Show, it would probably be less interesting. She did not know the story of 'Into The Woods,' which seemed the most popular choice. But she knew that she would be able to help out in the show, whereas in the 'Group Gets to Choose,' she might not be a big help if her talents were not needed.

Taking a deep breath, Skye raised her hand.
"I would like to be in the Small Show, please. And I vote for the Greatest Showman as the play."

Blaze just stood there as all the other talked it was strange being the only guy. At least from the people, he saw he didn't see one other boy, was it weird for Blaze to be part of the club. A weird thought went through his head. Do guys not join drama clubs... whatever it was Blaze didn't want to think about it. "Don't think like that," he muttered to himself before slapping himself on the side of the face. 

People were speaking so much and thinking of such good things. Like the play they should do and the different ways they could raise money. Blaze, on the other hand, had been sitting in the corner the whole time. "I need to do something!" He told himself, he just wasn't sure what this thing would be. 

He thought and thought but nothing hit him, no ideas no nothing all he could do was stay silent and continue listening to the others speak. "Why can't I ever do anything right," he then paused and realized how annoying he was being. "Why do I even say things like that," he muttered before curling up in a ball and sitting there motionless.
