Operation: Just get to the train!
I was nervous. More than nervous actually, my heart was beating quite fast, and not just from all the loud noises and big crowds(which I hate). I was going to HOGWARTS! This was gonna be exciting. I couldn't wait for my new classes. I had only learned about the wizarding world a few months ago, so maybe I was nervous and excited for that reason. This gave me a lot of time to learn everything I could. My brother, Sammy, was a 4th year, so he knew how to get to platform 9 3/4. But he was gone. I had spent too much time thinking about what awaited me at the castle that I forgot to follow him. I tried asking some of the other people at King's Cross station, but they thought I was crazy. What if I couldn't get there?! That's when I saw two other kids(wizards, I guess, from their trunks)heading towards the podium that had the signs of the platforms on them. They ran through the podium and disappeared. Heart beating fast, I attempted to copy them. I ran through the podium, expecting a crash...but none came. I was at my destination! A bright scarlet train was waiting for me. I stepped inside and slid open one of the compartment doors, relieved. I looked inside and asked, "Excuse me, can I sit with you?"

Operation: Just get to the train!
I was nervous a lot and more excited about to go to a wizarding school. I was in kingscross station looking for platform 9 3/4 quarters. This is my first year and I am a muggle born and don't know anything about all this stuff. I saw a person with same trunks as I had and approached him, by the looks of him he seemed four three years older than me. "Hello can I know how to get to platform 9 3/4 quarters?" I asked.
He said " first year I see, go to that podium in between and run through it. Very easy."
He started running towards the podium and vanished. I followed him nervously and full of curiosity and vanished through that podium. I saw the smoke rising from the train on which it was written 'Hogwarts Express' I got elated and then saw the person whom I met earlier and asked him his name.
"Sammy" he said smiling " I am a 4th year in Hogwarts, come let me show you a compartment"
I followed him with my trunk in my hand and he gave me a way inside a compartment which was empty.
"Thank you" I said with a slight smile on my face.
After few minutes a boy came and opened the compartment door and asked " Excuse me, can I sit with you?"
I said smiling "Yeah sure, otherwise it would have been boring to sit all along the journey alone" and gave the boy a place to sit.
"My name is Arjeet Bhardwaj. What is your name?" I asked
