Now, he had to cut his losses, a regrettable change in tune but one he would accept. Alan smiled at the current situation of the duel. They were clearly in the lead and had little to worry about. Sadly Meenauh had wasted a spell but it was better to be safe than sorry, so he couldn't fault her for that. They would win it, he was sure of it.

Everyone needed a breather, and that was understandable. It seemed like the only team unshaken by events was the one that seemed to be in second place currently, Ravenclaw. Thomas and Aida had a beautiful mind meld, trying to eliminate the last member of the guest team. Thomas' spell struck true, sending Hadashi back a couple steps. Aida wasn't as successful, but after last round they must've been a little winded. The rest of the match members seemed to remain still. Not exactly sure what to cast... maybe too tired? Vague Duelling Mod McGee wasn't quite sure.

It was as if time stood still for Aida and Thomas. Like the world just decided to stop and wait, Thomas landed his blow with ease. Yet, Aida found the scene so strange that their hand shot too far on its spell, expecting movement where there wasn’t. What caused such strange moments, wondered the mage.

The preparation to the next action took quite a lot of time that Meenauh missed a few spells sent somewhere. She shook off some of mold that has already got onto Meenauh's shoulders and some dust as well. Waiting in vain was not how Meenauh usually behaved. So this was a flaw in their tactics. Something to get rid of as soon as possible. So, it was time for some Plan X.

Clearly, everyone was tired. Ravenclaw wasn't, but like... Everyone else was. Very few things happened over the next few moments, leaving Lamik with an almost uncomfortable feeling of anticipation. It's very strange to have explosions and colorful rays of light zipping around you faster then you can keep track of, but it's even stranger to have nearly all of them just suddenly... Stop.

Hadashi sighed. This.... this was entirely pointless. His teammates were down, He was all that was left of his team, everyone else was still up. What was even the point of continuing this any further?
This, honestly, was one of the most depressing times he's ever had in a duel. It was going to take hours to work this out in zen exercises.
