A new day Closed

Jessicah was utterly and completely lost. She had no idea where she was or how she was going to get to the Gryffindor Common Room. “This is turning out to be a great first day, isn’t it.” She said to herself sarcastically. She wondered the halls and the moving staircases without any sense of direction in the slightest. She could practically hear her cousins teasing her for getting lost in Hogwarts. “You’ve been at Castle Armstrong plenty of times,” they’d probably say, “Hogwarts is just another castle.” Yeah, well, Hogwarts is a lot bigger, and a lot more different. Her cousins would probably also make fun of her for getting Gryffindor. After all, everyone else in the clan who was of magic was Slytherin. Jessicah hasn’t even had the guts to write to her parents and tell them. If they didn’t hear from her, they’d never know what a disappointment she was, and Uncle Grayson wouldn’t have yet another thing to harass her with.
Jessicah was on the brink of tears when she saw the toilets and thought “maybe there’s someone in there who can help me!” So she went into the abandoned toilets, fearful, naive, and needing a guiding hand and some companionship.

Freya sees a girl on the brink of tears looking as if she's new, being a first year herself Freya didn't know much of Hogwarts either but she knew enough to help a person and decides to approach her.
"hey you look lost and sad.. need any help?" she asks the blonde in front of her.
"if you're looking for the gryffindor common room it's on the seventh floor" Freya says with a smile.
"I'm not sure what the common room password is but i have a gryffindor friend who can help you!" Freya says a bit excited, it's easy for her to get excited on little things. Many people including she herself find it a bit strange, one of her best friends thinks it's adorable but Freya doesn't think so, it's not just her best friend but even her uncle thinks it's adorable, he's made fun of her related to this on many occasions.
Freya always hates it when people make fun of her so she's gotten somewhat good at hiding her excitement.
"so how can I assist you? "
She says with her usual smile fidgeting with her robes a bit.
She's anxious most of the time and fidgets a lot.

Jessicah looked at this girl in her beautiful green eyes. She could tell by the robes that this girl was a Ravenclaw. The girl before her had amazing brown hair that caressed the front of her robes. She looked older than Jessicah, so it looked like she might be able to help. Although, Jessicah didn’t want to make a fool of herself in front of another student. She’s totally fine with making a fool of herself in private, but this is someone else who doesn’t know her and it’s scary. Jessicah kept thinking about how this girl thought about how she looked. Jessicah didn’t work a lot on her hair that morning and now she kinda wish she had.
“So how can I assist you?” the girl said with a smile.
This made Jessicah stop zoning out and pay attention.
“Oh, hi” Jessicah said, “my name’s Jessicah, I’m new here, obviously, and I need help finding the gryffindor common room. You’re a Ravenclaw so I’m not sure if you know where that is although you’ve definitely been here longer than me so who am I to tell you what you know and don’t know *nervous laugh*! I know the password, I just need help and I don’t have any friends and the stairs are confusing and…”

"Woaaahhhh it's alright Jessicah! I can help you" Freya laughs a bit at this completely adorable fast talking blonde in front of her!
"Alright so as I said before the gryffindor common room is in the seventh floor and im glad you know the password because i have no clue what it is" Freya says calmly hoping she doesn't sound rude.
"are you sure you dony want to attend your classes first?Charms is currently going on, wanna join me? It would make me less miserable there" Freya says that with a light laugh hoping Jessicah joins her! She meant being less miserable there with a possible new friend! Freya already thinks Jessicah and she will be good friends!
"do you have your books? Supplies? Wand?" Freya asks her not knowing if she had those or not, she means that in the present as if she has her books, supplies and wand on her right now.
If she does then she can attend charms!
The thought of asking Elio for help comes back and Freya decides to ask her new friend if she's any good with charms?
"Do you like charms?" Freya asks with a smile awaiting her answer! If she says 'no' then Freya will have someone to share her misery with and if she says 'yes' Freya will have someone to learn from!

“Actually yes!” Jessicah responded, I’m not very good, but I have a lot of fun and I love the professor!” Jessicah then realized that everything she had said was a complete lie. For you to have attended a charms class, you’d first have to find it.

“I do have the supplies though!” that was the truth. Jessicah did in fact have all the supplies she needed, including her wand. I’m sorry if I talk too much or too fast” she said to the beautiful stranger with the face of a goddess “I have ADHD and Anxiety and I forgot to take my meds today lol!”

“I wonder if all the Ravenclaw girls look as pretty as her” she thought, “why can’t I be that beautiful?”

“I’d love to go with you to charms”, Jessicah said. Then she realized that she hadn’t even asked this beautiful stranger for her name. Jessicah immediately felt shame. “This is why you don’t have friends” she thought “No one wants to hang out with someone who doesn’t even ask for their name. Although, you’d probably forget it anyway you ditzy scatterbrain!”

”By The Way, I never actually got your name.”

"wow! That's awesome! You look like a person who would love charms!" Freya says with a big smile! "If we become good friends i must introduce her to Elio! They can bond about their love for charms!" Freya thought

"that's great! I finally won't be bored in the class! It's on the third floor!" She mentions and looks in the direction of the staricase and points towards it.
"Ohmg Jess no worries if anything i think it's adorable! I kinda relate to talking too much too fast but that only happens when I'm mad or excited about something! Freya laughs a bit, she really does do that and whenever she does that her brothers look at her weird and tell her to 'slow her roll' she thinks it's weird but doesn't care too much about it?


"i am so sorry i should've introduced myself first thing! I'm Freya! Freya Fallon Augustus!" Freya likes to tell people her middle name cuz she thinks it awesome! She isn't a big fan of her name but loves her middle name! And with her curious nature she has to know Jessicah's too!
"oh! I forgot to confirm with you! Is it okay if i call you Jess?I love giving my friends nicknames!" she says kind of excited now. Freya hopes Jessicah likes her nickname she doesn't want to make her uncomfortable!
