Bit of a Ramble

Dear Haley,
Well, hopefully the owl didn’t get lost. They seem very intelligent and all but there can always be mistakes made and all. I mean I’m not going to ride anything embarrassing or whatnot but still it’s never fun when someone else reads your mail. Or so I suppose. I’m not sure that’s actually ever happened to me, but that’s why your name is so clearly written on the outside of the parchment. Gotta make sure it’s clear who it’s meant for after all.
Coming home was a bit of a journey, too much sitting still for me. And then the whole Easter Holiday and honestly I’m not even sure what day it is anymore. How were your holidays? Or are you still on them? They might be done differently at Hogwarts then here, who knows?
I haven’t been flying very much lately. Staying with my parents, we’re too close to the muggles and can’t guarantee I’m not going to be spotted, but I’m looking forward to practicing some more. That and Quidditch practice. I’ve heard summer camp will include some interschool games, so that will be interesting. I’m sure we’ll come out on top, we’re far superior of course, haha.
Anyway, I’ve got too much to write but my hand’s starting to cramp from trying to keep up with my brain, so I think I’ll end that here.

Well, I am happy to inform you that the owl was clever enough to actually deliver your letter! And it correctly reached me as the first person too, so no one unwanted read the letter before me!
I was really happy to receive your letter. It may sound strange but while I was partially annoyed by this crowded castle, now I miss it. Well, not all but some I miss and among others of course you.
The vacations were nothing special, family stuff and so on..To be honest it was rather boring looking back and I am looking forward to Hogwarts again.
I'm also so looking forward to Quidditch practice again and I think Summer Camp will be awesome! Then we will definitely see each other again! If we don't play against each other, then I will definitely come and cheer you on. I'm really excited to see you in action, let's see if you're as good as me. (Just joking)

......are you sure? I mean a truly tricky person could probably reseal the envelope and we'd never know? Or you just thought I was a fool who didn't seal their letters.....okay, well I didn't, but still the point stands!
Awww, you're such a sweetheart! I'm definitely missing you (and a few others). It definitely was less fun to return to the usual. Kind of boring and lacking in energy or life or something. I haven't quite figured out what. Maybe something to think about some more later.
Well that's a bit disappointing. I'm sure Summer Camp at least will put some excitement into it. After all, what can go wrong? I think we've already proved many of the things that can go wrong with multiple schools in one area. Honestly, it'll likely be a bit of chaotic energy. I hope they have some cool games! Will you be signing up for any, if they do?
Excellent! Already making plans for what to do then, plenty of things we didn't do last time. Excellent! and if we're not playing you (if you're on the team), I'll add the match to to my schedule (admittedly I first need a schedule, but that seems the easy bit.) The owl's getting a bit impatient here, as I didn't really have time to scribble in class so I'm off to find something to do or some trouble, I haven't decided which and honestly both are better together anyway.

mh..maybe you're right after all? Or maybe you're just paranoid? If anyone is reading our letters, hi, how are you? Could you please stop reading our letters?

Yeah, I know it's kind of a weird feeling and hard to describe. But everyday life has returned and at some point it stopped being weird.
What can go wrong? Do you really want me to answer that question? I mean the last few years have been filled with so much chaos, probably anything can go wrong. But still, I'm really looking forward to it, kind of sick doing that even when I know there probably will be chaos? I will definitely sign up for games again. Last year there was spin the bottle, truth or dare, a Campfire Story contest and much more. Maybe we'll see each other at some of the games!
Whatever the outcome, we'll find out soon (it'll take ages). Until then, I'll just practise a lot of Quidditch, so I'll definitely beat you. I'm just kidding of course, am I?
Anyway, things are a bit stressful right now. I have a huge pile of homework to do and yet I'm sitting here writing this letter. I guess I have a few minutes before I should really get down to all the books and assignments.
Well, what else has happened? I made some new friends and started a club. Where I have involuntary contact with Simon. It's a band and maybe one day you can come to a gig or something. But I'm sure it'll be some time before then.
Well, my homework is already screaming for me.

It happens. honestly, even I've been distracted lately by studying. Though is it distraction if it's studying or just studying?
Haha, are you sure? I think we're quite interesting and anyone would love to read out letters.
Nah, nothing sick about it. It's the anticipation or curiosity of the whole thing I think. Honestly, you can't expect anything else when you get a bunch of magical people together I think. And teenagers is probably worse? Though magic definitely contributes to it. Oh! I could definitely go for some truth and dare. Dare every time. Who needs to even have the other option?
Ohhhh, them's fighting words. If we don't play each other, we should see about doing a pick up game at some point. Maybe not summer camp because it sounds like it'll be full, but we've got to settle this question. There won't be any rest otherwise.
Ohhhhh, well then I'll definitely come. maybe a buffer of some sorts? Though I might have to resort to punching of some sort. Not sure I could beat him magically
Homework, shush up! The books can wait......alright, maybe not, otherwise they just grow larger. Or double in number? I can never keep it straight.
