Another Meeting of the Peaceful Mind Club
Date: Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at 11:00 AMGetting up, Bailey smiled. It was the day of the Peaceful Mind Club meeting, which was in 2 hours and 55 minutes. It was 8:05
AM. She has just enough time to get breakfast, get some cookies from the kitchen, and get down in time to set up for the meeting.
Getting dressed, Bailey grabbed a pile of posters to pin up on her way to breakfast. She pinned one up in the Ravenclaw Common room, and Kim was hopefully pinning one up in the Griffindor common room.
Bailey had also given one to @Colin McCoire for the Sytherin Common Room and Simon Kincaid for the Hufflepuff Common Room.

After eating breakfast, Bailey headed to the kitchen to get some snacks.
After getting the snacks, Bailey headed to her dorm to get a few things. Bailey put the snacks, two flasks of lemonade, some glasses, her house picnic blanket, and her regular bag, which had her water bottle, a book to read, her journal for the club which had her plan for the meeting, and her pencil and quill bag.
Setting up the snacks she had brought from the Kitchen on her House Picnic blanket, Bailey looked around for someone from the club. The meeting would officially start in 20 minutes, but people were sometimes early.
Seeing no one approaching, Bailey pulled out her book, and poured herself a glass of lemonade. Taking a bite from one of the cookies she had made and brought from home, Bailey was reading when the first person showed up.

Another Meeting of the Peaceful Mind Club
Taizu had awoken quite early, as he often liked to try and paint in the mornings before the rest of the castle awoke. Taking out his easel, he was quite careful not to wake his other dorm members as he began to paint the sunrise on some of the mountains in the distance. After two hours of painstaking work, he had finished painting and left the easel out to dry, hoping it wouldn't turn out terrible. Looking at one of his roommate's beds, he realized that he had been there long enough for the rest of them to be gone already, presumably to breakfast.
Stepping out of the room, he saw some of the people in the commons room, and looked at the grandfather clock at the edge of the room. 9:43. Sighing, he walked back into the dorm room and quickly changed into his clothes, before stepping back out and looking at the board of posters to see if anything interesting had been posted. Seeing a poster for a club called the Peaceful Minds Club, he shrugged and made a mental note to go to that. He had signed up for it, and he really needed something to calm his mind down.
Walking down to the Great Hall, he took a tentative bite of some of the food, though was quite uneasy what with the large number of people around him. Grabbing a few pieces of marmalade covered bread, he began to walk outside into the slightly cool air of the courtyards. Taking a bite out of one of the slices of bread, he looked at the large clock in front of him and began to practice internal breathing. After finishing off the last slice of bread he looked at the time. 10:28.
Beginning to walk over to the meeting point for the club, he began to whirl through panicked thoughts over what he might have to talk about, or if he would have to worry about making new friends. But at least he knew that Bailey and Kim would be there. They were thankfully good friends of his since one of the first weeks of school, and he was in the club mostly because of him. Walking up at where the meeting place was, he was glad to see that Bailey was there. Waving, Taizu said, "Hi, Bailey. How has school been for you so far this year?"
"Oh Gods, I set the water on fire again."

Jessicah ran across campus!
“This is your one chance to make a good impression” she said to herself, “don’t screw it up by being late!”
Jessicah ran through the great hall, grabbing an omelet as she zoomed past the Gryffindor table and stuffed it in her mouth. It was cheesy and had a little bit too much salt but she didn’t have time to complain.
Jessicah had seen a poster a few days before for the “peaceful minds club”. She thought this would be a good way to make friends, but not if she was late.
“The best way to survive hogwarts”, Mother said, “Is to make friends the first few days that will last your whole life.”
Well, Jessicah hadn’t had that chance yet, so she had hoped that this would be her chance. She ran as fast as her legs could take her and then she went even faster. If she was going to make friends with open minded people then she couldn’t be late.
She got to the meeting point and saw two people she hadn’t seen before.
Jessicah zoomed past the two, unable to control her own speed, then dug her heels into the dirt and spun around. Out of breath and panting, she said,
“Hi, I’m Jessicah!”

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | This time was different. Kim hadn't intentionally come early or late. Yes, he was late, but it hadn't been intentional to avoid crowds. It was just... ever since the end of summer, things had been a little confusing for him. That damned Spin the Bottle game. Not the official one that had taken place at summer camp but the other one that had taken place inside their tent at summer camp. The more personal one, played only by the members of their tent at night time. Kim and Rabbit had kissed and things had become awkward between them. For Kim it was understandable. After all, Rabbit had taken his first kiss from him. But why had Rabbit been odd too afterward? Could it have been his first kiss too? He didn't know how to feel or what he was feeling right now. All that he knew was that it was confusing, a confusing time for him. Of course, Rabbit was on his mind 24/7 after that point. Regardless of whether Kim wanted him to be or not. Therefore, when something or someone distracted him from his thoughts, Kim welcomed whatever it was or whoever it was. Even if it was someone or something he disliked, at least he wasn't thinking about that pretty boy. Hell, even Ali or Hana-chan were welcomed. But spending time with them could also be quite troublesome for him. Regardless. Kim was late for the first meeting of the Peaceful Minds Club. But at least it wasn't too bad. He was only around three-five minutes late. And he'd come bearing some homemade snacks he'd gotten the house elves to let him quickly make. It wasn't much, just some quick mini croissant ham and cheese bites. Quick to make, easy to take with him when he had no time. Kim assumed Bailey would have already brought something with her too. Last time she'd made some meringue and brought some lemonade along with her and expected her to bring some sweets and drinks this time too. What went really well with sweets and drinks was something savory like this. It would compliment her sweets. Earlier, Kim had put Bailey's poster up in the Gryffindor common room to advertise their club, and was curious as to whether they'd get any new members this year. Only time would tell them. Upon reaching the designated spot, Kim saw Bailey and another girl he wasn't familiar with there. And Taizu was also there as well. Kim raised a hand into the air, catching the attention of those present and flashed a faint smirle (a cross between a smile and a smirk) at them. "Yo!" Kim said, giving his trademark greeting to everyone gathered. The white haired boy made his way over to Bailey. Upon reaching her, he put the container with the savory bites down where the cookies and lemonade were. Yup, he'd guessed right, Bailey had brought sweets and her trademark lemonade! The bites he'd brought would go perfectly with them. It was as if they were made to be together, just like them! Kim had come with his normal satchel, which had a partition down the middle. One side was filled with chocolate frogs, a quill, an inkwell, some parchment paper, his sketchbook, the silvery-purple Drake Journal he'd made during the Planner Errand, and a vial of allergy potion. The other side was empty, save for a tiny pink ball of fluff and fur, known as Puffie, residing there. Puffie was a pink pygmy puff and Kim's curious and friendly pet, who lately had been wanting to go everywhere with him. Inside Kim's pockets were pygmy treats and his self-inking quill that he'd gotten as a gift from his parents before attending Hogwarts back during his first year. He always carried that around on him, along with some scraps of paper for emergencies. "I brought some ham and cheese croissant bites for anyone who wants some." Kim let those present know, as Puffie poked his head out of the satchel and squeaked a cute greeting to everyone. Now, having done what he'd needed to do, Kim glanced over at Taizu and nodded to him. "It's good to see you again, Taizu. How have you been?" He asked and glanced over at the new girl. "I don't think I've met you before." The white haired boy said and let his blue eyes flicker over her for a few seconds. "Kim Aoki. You are?" Introductions had been made on his part, now all that remained was for the girl to do the same. It seemed as if the posters everywhere were doing their job, if this new girl was any indication. Maybe, his own clubs would benefit too. Come to think of it, he should start a new club this year. Mafia had done well during summer. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────

Another Meeting of the Peaceful Mind Club
Munching on a cookie, reading her book, Bailey looked up when Taizu approached. She hadn’t seen him in a while, and was happy when he came over.
“Hey Taizu! Schools going well- how’s your school year going? I’m glad to see you down here- are you here for the PMC meeting?”
As she was saying this, a girl, a first year by the looks of it came running up.
Introducing herself as Jessica, the girl panted. She had clearly ran all the way down to the meeting, which Bailey found touching. Standing up, Bailey stuck her hand out to shake Jessica’s.
Introducing herself, Bailey said “Hey! Welcome to the Peaceful Mind Club! My name is Bailey- Bailey Glade. I’m the President of the club- and there’s Kim, my Vice President!”
Seeing Kim approaching, Bailey said “Heyyy Kim! How are you?” laughing a little, Bailey already knew how he was. They seemed to always be together, even though that was unplanned.
Smiling at the dish in his hands, Bailey said “You know me too well. Thanks for bringing these- they smell delicious!!”
Ham and croissant sandwiches… ahh these are perfect! Something savory to balance out all of the sweetness I’ve brought!
Seeing Puffie, Kim’s pink pygmee puff peek out of his bag, Bailey smiled.
Glad that the posters had helped some, Bailey looked around. The other members were hopefully headed over, and would be there soon. Sitting down after giving Kim a quick hug, Bailey took a sip of her lemonade and said “Everyone feel free to help yourself to the lemonade and snacks and treats! If you have any allergy concerns, i did help make what I brought and I’m sure Kim made what he brought, so you can just ask and we’ll let you know what’s inside them!”
The last thing Bailey needed was someone having an allergic reaction.

He said, giving his usual trademark greeting to people. Kim nodded as Bailey thanked him for bringing something savory to the meeting for the members. Puffie squeaked out a greeting too upon seeing Bailey a short distance away from him. The girl came over to him and gave him a hug, something Kim was still coming to terms about, and then headed off to welcome more people. Despite being able to now accept hugs from others, he still didn't feel comfortable. It wasn't as if it was something he just had to do over and over to get rid of his social anxiety. It would remain with him forever. That was just the cold, hard truth, although dealing with it could get better with time. Bailey was one of the better ones, her hugs were quick and to the point, which he liked. They didn't bother him like others might have. Kim nodded as Bailey spoke out about allergies and stuff and picked up a ham and cheese bite, along with some of the other snacks laid out. Pouring some lemonade into a glass he sipped it and let his blue eyes flicker around the area. Puffie decided to hop out of the satchel, which was now lying against the trunk of a tree. And he started to hop around to investigate. The girl and Taizu were the only two members who had decided to show up to the meeting, at least for now. Hopefully, sometime in the near future more members would show up. There were 9 members that were listed as being part of the Peaceful Minds Club. Not counting Kim and Bailey. Only two were present, that meant the majority of their members hadn't arrived as of right now. Kim wondered if they were busy, on their way or had forgotten about the meeting being this morning. If they didn't want to continue being in the club he would have hoped they would have the decency to at least let them know. Not showing up and not informing anyone was very rude of them. But surely that was the case, right? It had to be one of the earlier possibilities, right? ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────
