I think it's 90% about the questions and 10% about who needs more members for Houses at the time. Or maybe it was something else too. I forget what people told me before when I asked.

I wanted Kim to be either in Slytherin or Ravenclaw. I could have also done Hufflepuff. But Gryffindor was nowhere in the equation. The original plan for Kim, as in the way I wrote his personality, background etc... everything, was designed to intentionally make it make sense for him to be in ANY House other than Gryffindor. Although I believe he would have fit best in Ravenclaw. When I got Gryffindor, I had to re-write his entire personality, background, family and history.

It was a pain.

I wish we could have a total of 3 characters max on the site. Your main PC, your iNPC and an alt character that would be called a secondary PC who would also go to Hogwarts. Your secondary PC would be designed to let you experience 1 other House and it would not let you get into the same House your main PC was in. Your main PC would be the one you'd start off as. Then your iNPC would be allowed once you are registered in Index (like it is now). And then at the start of your second or third year, you'd be allowed to create your last character on the site.

Your last character would be - the secondary PC - if you want to experience a different House.
