If your boyfriend refuses to call you by your preferred name and using your correct pronouns, he has no respect for you, and is not deserving of your attention.
I understand not wanting to date a polyamorous person, as that's a matter of personal preference and I don't think you can fault him for being uncomfortable with non monogamy.
But the longer you stay with him, the harder it is going to be to break up with him...that's just my two cents on it though, don't listen to me. I lit all my past relationships on fire and danced on the ashes, unfortunately

I wish I could help, but… idk with romance. Never been in a date, never told my crush I like them… Bailey literally had more romance that I probably will for a while

@Hugh Lowe imagine if there was a Half Giant that broke down in tears after something was broke- would that destroy the rep that part giants have

Yeah, my mom’s helping me, and I am trying. . . I think it confuses him though when he introduces e to his new friend and he says, this is my girlfriend so-n-so and I’m just like boyfriend actually—Abaeze Kellan wrote: 5 Sep 2022, 01:34 If your boyfriend refuses to call you by your preferred name and using your correct pronouns, he has no respect for you, and is not deserving of your attention.

But I do plan on dumping him, I just need to find the right moment, the only time we have together currently is on the field for band.
And I wouldn’t be talking about this if I wasn’t open for advice-

From my experience in trying to wait for the right time in things - the right time will never come. There will always be something.

Yeah probably, but on the practice field is defiantly not the right time, he’s currently competent with an upperclassman for his show spot and if I dumped him then— well he might loose the spot and band is super important to him, I’ll prob talk to him next weekend or something.Simon Kincaid wrote: 5 Sep 2022, 01:38 From my experience in trying to wait for the right time in things - the right time will never come. Okay well I have a whole bunch of experience with dating unfortunately. There's never a right moment to break up with someone. Don't do it over text but like...don't let it drag on. It doesn't sound like he's comfortable being with a guy, and if you're genderfluid than that's an awkward position to put him in. Best to rip the bandaid off. The more of each other's time you waste, the uglier the breakup is going to be.
Again. I am not on speaking terms with any of my exes, and I've ruined several friendgroups. Don't listen to me unless you're absolutely sure that's what you want to do.
Also, thank you so much Hugh. That's definitely something I'm going to spend some time thinking about. It seems like it's a decision I cannot go back on, but I don't think it's one I'm going to regret. The way I've written Abaeze, it seems to fit his character very well. I have what looks like 26 days to decide. I'll spend some time, figure out how/if I want to go about applying, and dm you once/if I've made the application.

@Abaeze Kellan, not the same race of halfbreed, but I haven't once regretted making Simon a dhampir. It's a great dimension to add to character development

And I won’t take something so important away from him, that’s why it’ll have to wait a bit till I see him again and he’s not trying to win his spot in our show.
