I concur, Noah! Duelling Eddy has been so much fun thus far! And am still looking forward to Colin & Avery's fight! Broom racing is more complex I think because of the course and you have to juggle strategies among a whole team. But it is a rush! Haven't tried quidditch, but if a pick-up game ever gets going, I'd like to participate!

I also think a lot of the enjoyment of sports, at least for me, is taking the opportunity to write. Colin's thoughts, feelings, reactions. Howling for Clair! Getting all that out is so much fun for me!

Yeah, that's the problem with RPs that have no minimum. But Abaeze has a good point: sometimes a more rapid fire RP fits the moment better. This is why I've got a Hio related server with a dedicated IC channel. We use it for character development and playing out short scenes in character. But here, I really do appreciate the minimum word count! I just wish sports and duelling had the same minimum!

But even there, we do that with the understanding that it's not a replacement for Hio. And I think that's because we all like to write. If anything, my posts tend to be in the 600 to 1000+ range. That's the range I like to read. I would say a w.c. of 200 is good for rapid actions and changes of scene or action.
