Appearance
Amina is a young and rather thin girl of average height. Her dark blonde shoulder-long hair is dyed light red. Both her fair skin and pale green eyes shone brightly in contrast to her dark eyebrows. Her stature showed her athletic background but yet she has a small frame. Combined with her prominent cheekbones and pointed nose, she could look quite feisty when she scowled.
Personality
Since her first year of life, Amina had to deal with three older brothers (always staggered by two years), who were also very annoying from her point of view. So she had learned the hard way how to make herself heard. The strong support in sports and her great talent gave her a very healthy self-confidence. If you asked her parents, they would sigh and say, "She's a sweet kid. Very energetic, sometimes reckless with especially her own safety in sports and a bit careless. But very ambitious. And I mean, what kid didn't fall out of a tree? That was just part of it. Plus, we know she always gets to her goal somehow. We don't have to worry about her."

History
The entire Petrovic family came from Bulgaria. Amina's father, Ioan Petrovic, was the person who gave the family of six their last name. He came from a long line of purebloods and played as a professional Quidditch player in the position of the keeper. Amina's mother, Caroline, was originally from America, a muggle-born, but also blessed with magical abilities. She had chosen a career as a interpreter, both in the wizarding world and in the muggle world. She had always traveled a lot and met Amina's father at an international game. After they had married, she moved to Bulgaria and had her four children there. Amina was the youngest. Nikolai was two years older than her, Miro four and Georgi six.
Until Georgi was ten, they had lived near the Bulgarian coast in Dobrich. Then, they had left the country with heavy hearts because of Caroline's job and moved to America. Ioan, in particular, had seen his children play quidditch on his own school team and was very disappointed that not only would he have to leave his own team, but that his children would be going to a different school.
To his dismay, his sons soon found other sports to get excited about anyway. Football and ice hockey were at the top of the list, not typical for wizards, but Caroline had always made it a point for them to learn about their muggle roots. Maybe they had just been too much about Quidditch when they were young and had rebelled.
Overall, Amina and her brothers had been raised with a great love for their Bulgarian homeland and great respect for the Quidditch talents there, but also with tolerance to other nationalities. In addition to Bulgarian, they had all learned English from a young age. Caroline wanted them to understand and communicate with this side of their kin as well. Understandably, the children were also sad when they had to leave Europe. However, Amina was only four years old at the time and did not yet have a strong opinion.
She was the only one who, as wished, fell head over heels in love with Quidditch at a young age. Even though her parents had been worried that she might not have any magic in her, or not enough, at first. It was only when she tried to catch the ball in front of Miro during a game with her brothers (soccer) and he tripped her that her magic showed. It had been triggered by her ambition and frustration. The ball had suddenly changed direction on its own, slipped between her brother's legs and landed right in front of her nose. At that time, she was already ten years old. Her brothers were all students in Ilvermorny.
Amina had always been passionate about quidditch and her father had been her great role model. She had a good and pleasant life in America, but every school vacation they visited their relatives in Bulgaria and overall she had grown up with a longing to return there. Her father had taken her under his wing. He didn't have a good opinion of any other quidditch team himself and refused to play for another country. Instead, he put all his energy into his daughter's talent. By the time Amina also went to Ilvermorny, she had agreed with her father that she was far too talented to play on the team there. Much to her mother's dismay. So Amina had gone to school, but had never applied for quidditch.
Now, when she turned fourteen and almost all of her brothers had finished school, Caroline's job allowed the family to move back to Bulgaria. The children were given the choice of which school they wanted to go to. Georgi and Miro both wanted to stay in the U.S. as they already had jobs and Nikolai also decided to graduate from Ilvermorny.
Amina and her father agreed, however: She finally had the chance to experience her father's beloved school and try out for the Quidditch team he himself had played on. Ioan would also return to his national team as a keeper. It was as if the dream she had been dreaming for ten years was finally coming true. Her father, who was well known in Durmstrang, proudly gave notice of his only daughter and announced that the Petrovics would finally return to their Quidditch roots.

Is your character a Quidditch Player?
Yes (Chaser)
Amina was raised by a professional Quidditch Player from Bulgaria, the Keeper Ioan Petrovic. Her whole life was dedicated to become as amazing as her dad, nothing else mattered to her. She always fancied the position of a chaser. She was gifted with quick reflexes and accurate aim, so that was the role she had been able to grow into lightning fast.
Now, when she had finally returned from America and has the opportunity to join the Durmstrang Quidditch team, the former team of her dad, she was very excited. Becoming a chaser on that team was her dream. This is her application for that position.
