Sudden Nausea PV Amadea Campbell Closed

The girl had suddenly asked where she left in. It was an odd question, something entirely out of the blue. But it dint bother her that much. It was only a question. The girl thought for her moment. She didn't know where she lived. Her mother never told her the address of her mansion. She lived her whole life there thinking it was in the middle of no where. Her mansion was built on a huge patch of grass, with a small forest beside the white architecture. The only way she ever got there was using the apparition spell. Her parents had fetch her everyday discreetly from her muggle primary school using the same method to and fro.

"Um, I'm not sure where I live."Aurelia admitted, slightly embarrassed. She did however, have a hometown. It was in Cheshire, England. It was where her family go to to get the weekly groceries and occasionally watch movies. It was where she attended her muggle primary school. It would be complicated for her to explain to Amadea how it actually work.

"My hometown is in Cheshire but I don't live there. My house is literally in the middle of nowhere and protected by a special spell so that no one nearby can see if their not with the radius. But theres hardly anyone nearby..." Aurelia explained.

Amadea listened as Aurelia explained where she lived. It was interesting and Amadea was still a bit confused about the whole thing. How did someone not know where they lived? She wondered why the house was protected with a special spell. It didn't make much sense to Amadea, but she hadn't been a part of the wizarding world for a long time. Maybe she just needed to learn more about it.

Nevertheless, she decided to keep her mouth shut and not ask any questions. She didn't want to intrude on anything or seem like she was prying for information. Plus, asking loads of questions was annoying and Amadea didn't enjoy being annoying. She decided to talk about her own upbringing. "I'm the complete opposite of you," Amadea said. "I come from London...which is a pretty big city. There are people no matter what way you turn." Amadea loved how different everyone's histories were. It was interesting to learn about them and talk about them. Everyone had a different sense of the world because of where they came from and their upbringing and it was such a nice mix of everything at Hogwarts.

"It must be nice living where you live," Amadea commented. "You have plenty of room to do whatever you want without worrying about other people seeing you."

"I come from London...which is a pretty big city. There are people no matter what way you turn."
Aurelia had been to London once with her family for a holiday and she loved every bit about the trip. it was much different from Cheshire, with sky scrapers and all. It was somewhere to shop till you drop. The crowds, however, wasn't as pleasant and she almost got lost in the city.
"It must be nice living where you live, you have plenty of room to do whatever you want without worrying about other people seeing you."
Amadea commented. Aurelia gave her a single nod acknowledging her. She lived in the middle of nowhere and to many people, they would love to live where she was in a big mansion, but to Aurelia, she felt lonely when her parents weren't at home. Even with all the luxuries any eleven year old child would want, Aurelia just wanted some company. Living where she was, she didn't have any neighbours besides the fauna and flora on the vast field. Aurelia used to have a brother but... her lips pressed into a thin line and she looked down and the cobblestone floor. She was never lonely when with her brother until that winter day.

"Well, sometimes in a big house, you kinda get lonely,"" Aurelia admitted, trying to put the sad thoughts away.

Amadea thought about Aurelia's comment about loneliness. She supposed that was true, however Amadea felt as thought she wouldn't mind the seclusion. After all, Amadea never had made any close knit relationships with girls in London besides her sister. Everyone in London was very stuck up and rude, or at least the girls she had met were. Thankfully, they were no longer a part of her life, but Amadea still couldn't help but feel as though she had missed out on a lot of things because she didn't have any friends.

If she had lived in the countryside, then everything would have been different. She wouldn't have had to worry about missing things; she probably wouldn't even know about them in the first place! She would have everything she needed right with her: her family. She knew not everyone at Hogwarts had a great relationship with their family, but Amadea was lucky enough to have a very solid and close relationship with them. Well, now that Amadea thought about it, she wasn't sure where she stood with her family.

She and her sister had that terrible falling out right before Amadea left for Hogwarts and things hadn't improved during the winter break. Kat had completely ignored Amadea the entire time, making Amadea feel miserable. It wasn't as though Amadea could have chosen whether or not she was a witch! She had to go to Hogwarts; it was her obligation. So maybe living alone wasn't always the best thing.

"Ah, yes," Amadea said. "Do you have any siblings?" she asked, trying to keep up the conversation. "If you do, at least you're not completely alone. You have them."

The the question that Aurelia feared the most was shot at her and all the memories that she was trying extremely hard to forget over the years bubbled back up to the surface. She and her brother playing on the mansion, the boy offering his last cookie to her. But as the positive memories came to her, the negative ones did the same.

Amadea's question was one that created a whole in her heart. It took a long period of silence before the troubled girl blurted a reply. "I had a brother." She used past tense because Raphael was gone from her life forever all because of the young girl's actions many years ago. Tears swelled in her eyes, threatening to fall down her cheeks. Gryffindors are fearless she told herself but a moment later a sob escaped from her lips and the tears poured from her eyes.

"I'm sorry... Raphael is dead." She finally revealed and wiped the sleeve of her black robe across her eyes. Many more came rolling down her cheeks immediately after. She always came across the problem when someone brought the topic up she would not be able to stop crying. Aurelia knew it was an accident but she was always convinced that she was at fault since Raphael had been chosen her when he slipped.

Amadea was barely able to keep her mouth shut as Aurelia talked about her brother. Immediately, she felt terrible for bringing the topic up. Of course she had managed to talk about the one thing that Aurelia clearly didn't want to talk about. This was why Amadea preferred not to be the one starting conversations. She never knew what to say, and when she finally did find something to talk about, it turned out to be a disaster like this.

Amadea could never imagine losing her sister, no matter how angry they were at each other at the moment. She would never wish for her sister to disappear from her life and felt so much empathy for the poor Gryffindor. Losing a sibling was something completely unimaginable to Amadea. She wondered what she could do to console the sobbing Gryffindor, but came up with nothing.

"I'm so sorry," Amadea said. She knew her words weren't much consolation and that saying sorry wasn't going to change anything, but she hoped it would do something. The poor Gryffindor had been cursed with the Curse of the Bogies and now was lying in a hospital bed rehashing old memories about things that were very sad. Amadea hoped she hadn't ruined any chances of being friends with the Gryffindor.
