Was it so much different from the images in her world? She supposed not. Thinking about it, she had movies and gifs, a number of images that were constantly in motion in her life. "I suppose I should already be used to it what with the internet," she acknowledged. "I'd show you, but...well this has chosen the worse moment to not work," she sighed. Eventually, she'd get it all to work and then she'd be able to introduce him to things she liked, the same way he introduced her to parts of his world.
Teams. She wondered if there'd be competition. There'd probably be competitions between the four. One of her previous teachers had split the class into groups and let them pick names for their teams and they'd had to be together for the entire year. That'd been something. Of course, that was just one year, he was talking about seven years of the same classmates.
"Oh um... thirty-something, chestnut, and unicorn," she responded. "Was I supposed to memorize the particulars?" A flush of rose dusted her cheeks. Perhaps this was something that would be asked of her. She had the paper with all the wands characteristics and care from the box somewhere in her bag, she'd have to find it before they arrived. Just in case. After all, even she wouldn't remember the schedule for linseed oil all on her own. She'd penned it into her scheduler, even though she'd thought it was stupid considering she could set up reminders on her phone. She wondered if there was a way for her scheduler to give her magical pop ups.
Skateboarding was nice, sadly none of her siblings had taken to it, so getting one hadn't exactly been feasible. Though she'd never lacked anything, the budget for extracurricular things had always been tight. It hadn't helped that loitering often came with fines and they usually were given more often to those that owned skateboards. As though one automatically made one a criminal. Sometimes adults were interesting creatures, or so she thought.
"That's really neat, perhaps you can show me sometime, I've never gotten to skateboard, but I've tried a bit of parkour," she offered. Honestly, beyond kicking her feet off the wall she hadn't gotten far, but there was always next summer and the one after that. She had time, at least, that's how she saw it. There were a lot of years ahead, and while in school, she could just focus on school. Perhaps she'd even find some ways to make some money on the side to pay for extracurriculars.
"Bless you," she responded when he said quidditch, figuring he'd sneezed. "Camping sounds amazing, never done that either, but I always wanted to try. They'll certainly be opportunities later I gather. Now, what games did you say you enjoyed watching again? I missed that part," she smiled. "I'm not much to watch sports, I don't think I can sit that long," she added squirming in her seat just at the thought. "I do try to watch soccer when I can though. I do enjoy playing it. I certainly have an advantage getting passed others." At that she grinned. Of course, she had just as many disadvantages with her height.

Efelion had heard of the internet before, a thing that muggles used to communicate across large distances, he had always been fascinated by the idea of those things as his parents never really let him experience the muggle world that often. Not that they were prejudiced but rather, they did not understand the need or want to be in a world without the use of magic around.
When she asked if she was supposed to remember the make of her wand Efelion giggled a little and shoot his head “no, you don’t need to, it’s just… for a wizard your wand is like a part of you, the wand chooses you” Efelion Explained to the girl with a smile “So At least for me, I got rather excited about it and learn everything about it.”
Efelion had never heard of parkour but it sounded interesting “Well… if we see each other outside of Hogwarts in the holidays sometimes maybe we can show each other our skills” Efelion offered “I have never heard of Parkour but I’d love to watch you show me!” he finished with another offer “Maybe in the summer break you could come camping with my family and me if your parents were ok with it”
When she asked about quidditch again after what sounded like assuming he sneezed Efelion laughed a bit “Quidditch silly, it’s a sport, Basically, the biggest sport in the wizarding world” Efelion started to explain to her “it’s hard to really explain but I have heard they have it at Hogwarts so I am sure we will go to a game at some point and I’ll explain it there. But let’s just say there are flying brooms and people get hurt a lot.”
Efelion had heard of soccer from muggles before on his rare excursions into muggle London with his parents, everyone talked about it. It sounded as big as quidditch when it came to muggle sports. Efelion wondered if one day he would be able to watch a game of it. There were so many things he wanted to see or do.
“I would like to watch some muggle sports at some point” Efelion admitted, “Or just see more muggle things in general but my parents normally avoid the world outside of the wizarding world.” He knew once he was of age he could do whatever he wanted but it seemed like so long away and he wanted to know more about it now, waiting was like torture to him “One day, I’m going to explore all of both worlds.”
“Do you think your family will let you spend time in the Wizarding world now that they know you are a witch?” Efelion asked the girl with a smile “You could learn and see so many new things.”

Ursula and the strange slender man at the shop had said the same thing. Her stick had chosen her, though she was still trying to figure out how a piece of polished wood could select a person, a far more straightforward concept than the talking hat she’d be faced with in just a few hours. Still, that might seem like an eternity for the young witch sitting beside Efelion. Now his name she recalled, even if it was odd or perhaps because of it. “Well, when in Rome, I suppose,” she nodded, promising herself to find that piece of paper and committing the specs of her wand the same way she had that of her phone.
A smile parted her lips before a light chuckle escaped. “I just need walls to show you my skills,” she grinned. “Been meaning to practice flipping off of one; it might be fun one day. If only to stretch out the agony this ride is going to be. You’d think these benches would be more comfortable,” she grumbled, nudging him as she shifted in her seat. It was hard to figure out a spot she liked. Even with her platforms, her legs practically dangled without touching the ground.
Pausing, she looked at him with wide eyes, leaning rather closely. “Do you mean that? Because I would LOVE to camp with your family!” She practically squeed with excitement. “Much more exciting than our humble abode, though we do have a beach nearby, so there’s that,” , she added. There was a rich history to Falmouth, or so she’d been told. Perhaps if she’d get into Quidditch, she’d come to learn they had a team. He seemed intrigued by her world as much as she was enthralled by his.
“I suppose it’s both our lucky days then, in’t it?” she smiled. “We’ll camp with your family and then you’ll come to mine, or vice versa, then we can both have a taste of each other’s world. I’ll show you gaming, muggle sports, and jungle gyms, and you can introduce me to...whatever you do,” she smiled. Of course, this was all if their parents agreed, but she doubted her mother would have anything to say. If anything, she’d probably assume Alora had found a lovely muggle-born friend in search of normalcy.
Alora smiled. “Mum’s not fond of it, but Logan and Ursula are magical. My brother and aunt,” she added. “Then I have five siblings that are...well human...muggle.” The word felt odd on her tongue. She was still getting used to terms of the wizarding world.

Efelion nodded when she asked if he meant it. He was sure his parents wouldn’t mind him bringing a friend along, if anything they’d be happy that if he ran off somewhere it wouldn’t be on his own in case of trouble. Though they let him explore on his own within earshot of a yell they had indeed expressed their concerns of that behavior in worry of danger.
“I haven’t been able to go to beaches often” admitted Efelion “my family tended to stay away from muggle areas and a lot of the coastline is well… a lot of muggle towns.” They were not prejudiced against muggles however they saw no real reason to be in that part of the world very often. To them, everything was achievable through areas of the wizarding world.
“I think that would be a good idea so we can spend time in both places” Efelion agreed to her idea of spending time at one another’s places during the school breaks “I would love to visit more muggle places and have a look around.” Efelion smiled at the thought, he was happy that he had made a new friend and one that lived in the muggle world no less. He hadn’t expected to meet someone so quickly but he felt happy and excited about the prospects.
Efelion struggled to think about having so many siblings, he was a single child, and even though there were others that came and visited he realized that those who were the friends of his family were not really there to spend time with him but instead only there out of required to by their own families. He had often wondered what it would have been like to have actual friends that wanted to spend time with one another rather than it being more forced out of requirement.
“That seems like so many” Efelioned admitted to Alora, “Does it not get exhausting having to deal with so many people in one house?”

Despite England being an island, it was impressive how few people had spent time on beaches. Of course, unlike her native Falmouth, not all edges of the country were as kind, not that the waters of the shores near her town were any kinder. The currents could be treacherous and the waves could bring you in quickly. Other times, it was almost placid, though even she knew better than to believe it as such.
“I wouldn’t know the difference,” she responded honestly. “Plus not all that many beaches on the coasts,” she chuckled. She thought of the cliffs of Dover and the giant steps, even if that last one wasn’t exactly in England, it wasn’t all that far. There was a reason the United Kingdom had never been assaulted by enemies and taken by ships. Even Falmouth had its own ways of defending itself with tall rocky walls leading onto sandy shores.
Some other kids might have been offended by being seen as some culture to be explored, but Alora honestly didn't care. She'd show him every boring muggle thing if it meant more magic in her life. "Sounds like we have our summer plans then, we can probably make something more concrete during the year and plan writing back home to butter up the parents. Do wizard schools do school pictures?" she asked, her mind already getting ahead of itself. At times, it was hard for the young girl to focus on a single train of thought when there was just so much to think and feel.
At his mention of family, she couldn't help but think time with his family would likely be rather relaxing. A bit like how it had been to sleep over at Eleanor's house that one time. Her snooty attitude had definitely been worth access to pretty sweet toys and a not having to fight anyone for a bathroom. Alora smiled at him. "I mean, it can certainly get chaotic in the mornings, especially when you've got seven women fighting over two bathrooms," she explained. "But I suppose I don't really have to worry about that for some time. Just whatever you do, put all the seats down when you come, or you'll start World War III."
