Monica smiled back at the girl, she didn't know whether she was uncomfortable with her choice, or had no opinion at all. For her it was the aim of the game... right? But why were there so many more questions filling her head.
Choosing not to dwell on any more thoughts, and with Vivienne's hand still in hers, Monica finished the handshake, and looked back to the girl in front of her.
"Sorry for the shock, but thank you very much for being such a good sport about it! I hope we have the chance to meet each other under different circumstances sometime."
Monica left her bottle partner and made her way back to her place in the circle. Understanding washing over her face as she thought about how much her sister raved about this game.
Monica understood.
It was the purest form of seeking discomfort, facing your fears head on, and choosing human connection over remaining "socially safe" Monica looked over at Hiro, her cheeks turning flush as she just watched him from across the room. She pulled away her gaze, if nothing else, it was worth it if it meant just to meet him, all of summer camp!
She was already looking forward to telling her sister all about her own time playing this 'spin the bottle' game.
