Kayla walked into the grounds with a small bag hanging by her side, moving smoothly along the grass as she smelt the crisp morning air, all a good day to plain her daily shenanigans with her best friend, Freya Augustus. And who knows, maybe she could get one other friend to join, considering her new friend, a new person to the friend group: Athena Boot. Athena said she was going to make it, and Kayla felt sure. So she ventured on, scanning the area as she did so.
"Hey, Fairy," Kayla grinned, tackling Freya in one of her famous bear hugs. "Athena said she's going to make it, and when she does..." Kayla patted her trusty artistic bag that hung beside. Except this time, it was not full of brushes and paint, nor notebooks, textbooks or parchment; today, it had only one piece of a paper in it, a diagram. From the day the had arrived from the Hogwarts Express, Kayla spent her full attention on this map, she wasn't exactly the smartest- nor was she an architect, but she had more or less made a map of the castle.
Of course, it was quite impossible to do that, as it had so many moving staircases and hallways; but Kayla tried her best to just show the basis of what is where. It was only the beginning, however.
Kayla scanned the castle one last time to check if Athena was stomping her way through the grass, but when she didn't, she and Freya sat down, Kayla took of her bag when they did so.
"Alrighty Fairy, here's the progress I've made on the map..."

Meeting with friends

Freya walks in the ground slightly earlier in the morning just to walk arround alone and in quiet, she's always been found of silence but enjoys time with her best friend kayla, for Freya, Kayla is the only person she'd want be alone with, she really loves the bond they have and would do anything for Kayla.
Freya brought her bag in which she had a secret little project which no one knew about but it would surprise many.
Her bag was brown with a lot of pins on it, the pins had cute little motivating aesthetic quotes which she adores.
She was wearing a blue flannel with a grey tank top, black shorts and her sneakers.
After a while she sees Kayla!
"Hey Dorie! I missed you!! she says in her usual enthusiastic voice.
"I hope she does!she is really cool!" Athena is a new friend Freya made at Hogwarts, Freya really enjoys talking to her and is eager to learn more about her and ofc give her a nickname, Freya came up with a few suggestions but hasn't settled upon anything yet.
"Dorie the map looks amazing! It's just as good as the Marauders map! Maybe even better! She says completely amazed by the progress her best friend has made!

Meeting with friends
Athena hurries out on the Hogwarts grounds. This is the first time in forever that she is late to something! She always make sure to go a few minutes to early, becasue she hates having to little time, but all the moving stairs and locked doors in Hogwarts made her lost. She hadn't been here for very long either, so she hadn't have time to learn.
She saw Kayla sitting with Freya on the grass. She knew Kayla, of course, but not Freya. She only knew who she was because they sleep in the same dormitory, but she seemed nice.
"Hello!" Athena said as she walked up to them, brushing some of her hair from her face and smiling in a way she hoped wasn't awkward. They were looking at a piece of paper that was laid out on the ground. When she looked closer, her body filled with excitment. It was a map! Athena loved maps, diagrams and statistics, it may seem like a bit of a strange thing to like, but she just loved how you could much so much information and data in so little space, and it still bein so easy to read.
"Is that a map! Is it Hogwarts?!" she said, then she realised she hadn't introduced herself.
"Oh, umm, hi! I'm Athena!" the last thing was for Freya, since she had never talked to her before.

"Thanks, Fairy. It's kind of trash, I know. But it covers the basics, you see, there's the transfiguration classroom-" Kayla was interuppetd by hurried footsteps on grass and a girl with curly, messy black hair to rival Kaylas' had arrived: Athena was here.
"Hey, Thea! You made it, great!" Kayla said excitedly, talking in a voice a bit louder than she intended. "Sit down, we've been discussing this." Kayla grinned as Athena hastily introduced herself to Freya, watching them interact. Athena seemed to pear over to look at the excuse-of-a-map Kayla had drawn up.
"Yeah, this is Hogwarts, I drew it up specifically for this. I know it's not the best but it cover most things, " Kayla repeated to Athena when she asked about it. Both Freya and Athena alike were more excited about this than Kayla anticipated, she had thought they would merely nod about it and carry on, but the result was interesting.
So, uh," Kayla cleared her throat, ready to tell them the reason they were meeting there, the main reason for the map. " I kinda planned this, the making of the map, for the main purpose for not only exploring the castle, but to cause...let's call it shenanigans. It'll just be fun for us to take one place at a time, to explore, to find and last but not least: to cause just a teeny tiny bit a mayhem, because why not?" Kayla finished her sentence with a smile, proud of the words she had just uttered.
"We can start here, pretty simple. And maybe we can meet a new friend a long the way." Kayla pointed at a huge semicircle, laybled GH:the Great Hall.

"Hey Athena! Welcome! "
Freya greets her very new friend
"And as for you young lady this map is flawless and you better see that too!" she says to Kayla. Freya always hates it when people don't appreciate good things or qualities which might be possessed by they themselves or something or someone else and Kayla did a lot of that.
"I would love to cause some trouble! It would have been my middle name if my parents hadn't chose Fallon instead!"
Freya was not kidding when she said that, her parents actually almost chose a name that meant trouble if they had not stumbled upon 'Fallon'.
Freya kind of likes her middle name, it reminds her of birds, strange? But who knows?
"I really hope to make a few friends, are you sure the great hall is a good start?"
She asks Kayla, Freya has never been the best at making friends and it shows, she still doesn't how she managed to be friends with Kayla but she's glad she has one great friend.
Freya has been very unlucky with friends too as most of them stop talking to her or ignore her for very long periods of time and only reach out to her when they need something.

Athena sat down in the grass beside her two friends. The thought of exploring the castle excited her, and weirdly, the thought of causing trouble did too. She couldn't remember the last time that she had caused trouble, not on purpose at least. She was scared what would happen if someone figured out it was her. But doing it with friends felt better, she would not have to take all the blame herself, and if they told her parents, they wouldn't remember it until she came home. And if they did, they would be too happy to see her to mention it.
Athena also didn't know if the great hall was the best place to start, there was so many people there all the time, surely someone would catch them?
"What sort of trouble do you have in mind?" Athena asked instead. Maybe it was something discreet, or something that wasn't so bad, she wanted to know the full picture before saying her opinion.
She really was thankful for her friends, even though she hadn't known them for very long. It felt pretty natural hanging out with them, at least right now, and she thougth that they could create some good memories togheter.

Kayla grinned, ready to share what she had in store. "I see you both show a lack of excitement by starting at the great hall, well on my last trip to fiagon alley, I supplied myself in Weasleys Wizard Wheezes. And the things found there." Kayla whistled, "interesting stuff. I thought, since it is super crowded, we could start simple. Exploding bonbons." Kayla took a out a pen from her bag, one of the really cheap muggle types which had dozens of colors on it. "I thought a pen worked out better than a quill," Kayla explained, clicking down one color. "We could lay them about here-" she lightly drew a tiny red circle on the far left side of the hall. "-then run. Of course, I have no idea how these work. I've never actually tested them out, but they might work out well enough." She addmited, lowering her pen.
Kayla was happy she planned this before hand, if she hadn't, she would probably have been a blubbering mess; attempting to explain what she meant. But Kayla chose her words carefully, and explained patiently- not one of Kaylas' main skills - hoping that her friends would see reason. She had chosen to start with the great hall, not onky because it was the first place on the map, but because it was one of the most open spots. It was indeed, going to be full of people, but that was her point. So tons of people would be able to witness it, not like Kayla was a showman, or particularlyenjoyed attention; but it would be exciting.

''doesnt sound too bad?" Freya says in slight confusion, she's still deciding and rationalising this plan as much as she could. Freya isn't particularly afraid of getting in trouble but she still likes the thrill of making a full proof plan and never being caught.
"Why don't we all take a trip to diagon alley and see some more joke stuff?"
She says, Freya has wanted to go to the diagon alley for a while now, but hasn't gotten the chance to yet.
"Ooh and we could also annoy our teachers!! That would be fun! I love annoying people!" Freya says smiling and excited to have fun!
"We can also annoy our senior students that also sounds pretty cool!" She says.
"Oh also! Can you both sign...-"
She says while taking out a brown book with gold corners and a lot of stickers on it "-right here!" She says pointing to a page she opened.
This book is the super secret project she had been working on, it's supposed to be a friend book with signatures of her friends and pictures and discriptions of their memories.
She planned on using this book as a journal for her and her friends and she's very excited to do so!

"Sounds good! And I wouldn't say no to a trip to Diagon Alley!" Athena said. She loved to be there, especially the ice cream you could buy there, it tasted magical! pun intended But the next thing Freya said made Athena a bit worried.
"Annoy the teachers?" Just the thought of it made her nervous. She didn't want to lose house points, and what if she got detention! But if nobody knew it was them, she guessed it could work. They just had to make sure to make a fail-proof plan.
"I guess we could go for it, if we are careful." She had used exploding bonbons a few times, to prank her brother, but this time she would have a much bigger adiuence and a lot more people to hide from!
"Oh also! Can you both sign...right here!" Freya said and showed them a brown book covered in stickers.
"Sure!" Athena said, even though she didn't really know what it was for. "Let me just get a pen!" She stuck her hand in her pockt and after a few seconds she managed to find a pen with purple ink. "I wouldn't say no to go to Diagon Alley either, we could gather some stuff and have a good time. And maybe pass by the pet shop. Maybe I can buy Fairy a ferret." Kayla winked a Freya, knowing how much she hated ferrets, it was fun just to tease her about it. "I can maybe get one of those cute white ones..." Kayla sang.
"Hmm, I'm with Thea on this one. Seniors?" Kayla made a sound, that sounded suspiciously like please. "But the teachers? I mean, it could be fun. But I don't fancy getting detention when we just got back."
Kayla wouldn't really actually mind, not that she actually hated the teachers or anything. But sitting late into the night working on homework on tiring. Ok, maybe it was kind of her fault she had to work through the night, concidering she spent the day doing everything but studying. Well, taking a nice run around the grounds, weaving, painting, and reading (reading books that weren't even part of their syllabus) took time. Who has time to study anyway?
"Ooooh sure!" Kayla signed on the place she was instructed, not really signed, but tried to make her name seem kind of loopy. "The book is so pretty, I love stickers. You should watch out, because next thing you know is I'm taking all those pretty stickers for myself." Kayla joked, smiling broadly and actually looking longly at the stickers.
