Summer Games 2022
Bubba had finally gotten over being so flustered at almost running into Greta and was able to settle in and watch the game itself. He had heard the boy next to Greta give him a lukewarm welcome. "Bub"... he had never been called Bub before but he could surely say that he definitely didn't like it. He chalked it up to him being late and the boy focusing on the game but it still struck him as a bit rude, "Please don't call me 'Bub'."
Still, he was here for the game and he should actually watch the game, everything else was just a distraction. His eye was first drawn to Winnie and what he could only describe as an... odd.... strategy from the other team. They didn't seem to be sending anyone after the quaffle at all. Bubba knew next to nothing about quidditch strategy but he felt safe in saying that this... this just didn't seem like a particularly good one. Still, on Winnie's first attempt at a grab she managed to miss it completely, and Bubba gave an audible groan, "Oh come on Winnie no one was even contesting you!" Fortunately, Winnie was able to claim redemption a couple of minutes later when she scored a quick-fire double and Bubba let out a loud cheer. Unfortunately, this was soon replaced by an audible groan as she produced an airball on the next attempt. Still, Ravenclaw was up 20 points, huzzah!
Unfortunately, while Winnie gave Ravenclaw the lead, the rest of the team was not fairing nearly as well. Not one, not two, but three separate Ravenclaws were off their brooms. It wasn't great, it was a wonder Winnie was able to get anything done at all given how many of her colleagues were down. Still, it probably helped that the other team was too busy knocking them off in the first place. Bubba looked down at all of them and grimaced, "Quite the body count we're stacking up." At least in the fracas, the opposition hadn't managed to catch the snitch.
At a break in the action, Bubba half looked over at Greta and asked, "Any of your friends on the team?"

Glen wasn’t yet hungry. I guess she’s right it is still a bit early. She remembered seeing the sign briefly. “They have popcorn, peanuts, and beverages. I noticed they had more solid food like a cheese dog and kabobs, but you’re probably right about it being too early.” Ellie slightly regretted not having more to eat during breakfast. She was too busy trying to prepare herself for the crowd mentally.
“We can absolutely wait for later.” She pulled her attention back to the game. The next round began and it seemed like Ravenclaw was getting back to their bearings. The player that was hanging on the brooms of his other teammate went back to his and Winnie, a chaser, started to gain some points for the team. Now we were in the lead.
“YES!” Ellie let out with excitement. She really was starting to get into the game. “I am so happy we are starting to take the lead. I really wasn’t expecting to enjoy this as much as I am. Thank you so much for convincing me to come, Glen!” Ellie had a huge grin on her face. This was proving to be an exhilarating experience. Her eyes stood glued to the game in anticipation of the new round.
