History/Background Story:

Yvaine was born 1 November to a French aristocratic Pure-Blood line. He spent the first couple of years living in Gordes, France with his father's side of the family being prominent figures. Two years later his sister, Alexandrie, was born, who unfortunately turned out to be a squib. This enraged the de Sauvetter family, to which they blamed the mother, Madeline. His parents decided to move to Durham soon after to give their children a better life and to gain a better perspective on the muggle world in which their daughter would live. Yvaine and Alexandrie were put into public schools until his inevitable acceptance into Hogwarts.

Upon his 11th Birthday, Yvaine received his letter with a following small celebration. A few of his extended family came to visit in lieu of the momentous occasion, but the air was tense. Yvaine was both excited and sad, for he had made muggle friends in his time at public school. Alexandrie meant a lot to him as well, and it was difficult for the family to break it to her that she would not be able to go to Hogwarts like her big brother.

Appearance:

Yvaine is a lanky boy, even for his age. His dark hair hangs low over his brow and held away from his eye sight by a pair of thick framed spectacles. Behind the frames hides his mischievous blue gaze that is always looking for the next thing to satiate his boredom. His lips are often upturned to a grin or carrying a small smirk.

Personality:

Being quite energetic, he is welcoming to any and all with enthusiasm. He's always open to anyone needing an ear to listen, and is what he likes to think of as a super encourager. He knows how to turn a subject onto something else smoothly, and prefers not to be the center of attention. There's a lot of care and consideration in his heart for his friends. Having fun above all things is important to him, though he will take his studies seriously when the need is there.

He definitely has a creative mind finding multiple ways of going about a situation, problem, or task, often finding loop holes or ways to bend the rules. His policy is that you can't get in trouble for it if you don't get caught. Half the fun of challenging loop holes is to see whether or not anyone notices. He understands there's repercussions for his actions, though, and takes any punishments he is given without complaint. If it comes to it, he'll take the blame for his friends.
