The day was young but the weekend was coming to an end. Duncan found himself wanting more time to explore the outdoors before classes began once again. Spring and Summer meant flowers grew near the castle and it was beautiful. The O'Hara boy came from a family of plant lovers, so even when in denial he appreciated them. Muggle, magical, and everything in between were a common sight for him. This didn't seem to help him do better in Herbology classes though. He likely slacked off purposefully but that was something he would never admit. Hopefully he didn't get called out for it. His specialty was in snacks and baked goods, not plants.

"What a beautiful day..," he said to nobody at all as he found a nice patch of flowers. "Bluebells. One of my favorites. I should pick some."

Duncan became instantly oblivious to the world around him as he began inspecting good specimens to pick out. As far as he knew, these were regular old non-magical flowers that grew all over Scotland. It's possible he was wrong considering where he was, but he figured he had picked these a million times as a kid already so they had to be safe. The Irish boy hummed to himself a bit as he found a few good ones. He was thinking about where to put them, who to give them to, and if they would think he was weird for giving them flowers. That didn't stop him though as he continued to work and get a handful of them before someone else approached, likely unnoticed by Duncan at first.

It was a calm and sunny day. One that Emyl favored. It reminded him of the hot day where he was helping his father with the shop. He loved to take care of flower and he knew that one day, he would own the familial commerce. Emyl could not wait for that day to be true. Therefore, some darker thought was exploding all over his mind. His father had said he would get to own the shop once he reaches his majority and only if he deserved it. He had promised that before Emyl revealed himself to be a wizard. Since then, something with his father was broken. Perhaps he would have to give up his dream because of his condition. It saddened him on an unbelievable note.

Plants were his passion. Flower of every kind, every color, every scent. He preferred them over humans. Which was extremely ironical, but he couldn't care less. Emyl wanted to be happy, and he would find a way to reach his personal goal. On that sunny day, the last of the weekend, the boy had decided to take a walk on the castle ground, which he already knew to an exceptional degree by now. Which his small exploration pass curfew, he had managed to learn and memorize most of the hidden places. At least, those that were located outside.

While walking, interlacing his arms together, Emyl saw a young red-haired boy. He was picking some flowers. It only took him a few second to recognize them. Bluebells. Could it be possible for this individual to share a similar passion as he? The Morrel boy rushed over here, before jumping in front of the other. Hello! I was passing by and couldn't stop looking at you! You have nice flowers here! Bluebells are one of my favorites! Slowing down to retake his breath, Emyl grinned. It was, indeed, a great day.

Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.
