Take it from me: Don’t settle for half-assing things.
The best pranks for a prank war, Johannes believed, were the heavily inconvenient, tediously fixed ones. These widespread, frustrating and mostly harmless practical jokes were the ones he delighted in the most, but they were also the ones that often took the longest amount of time. Though a very reputable source of mischief (he hadn't earned his reputation and inked up disciplinary record for nothing, after all!), it had been a sort while since he had the ability to hatch out a long-game plan. Suffice to say, his prankbook was looking more colorful than ever and Johann was more than a little excited to be fighting back with the backup of his Hexwizard team.
Luckily enough for the Horntails, there was a mole in their enemy tent. With information from Astrid Olsen- their delightful #7 and second-string seeker- and a long mental list of possible deeds, Johannes joined the Horde in infiltrating the Conspira-sea tent. (To think they had tried to pin the blame on the unrelated Baby Shark tent! Johannes, upon hearing this, had immediately noted down the continued bad ettiquette of their victims.) A snappy name and glitter could only get them so far when Durmstrang was involved. It was time to debunk their false confidence.
Upon entering, the tent's interior was green enough to make Johannes wish (not for the first time, and not for the last) that technology could work in the presence of so much magic. Having a Horntail movie night in which they reacted to green-screened clips of their enemy tent... The hilarity of watching the poor children who thought they could cross the Horntail Horde would almost make up for the unacknowledged pop culture references flying right over people's heads. Almost.
As his teammates redecorated and claimed their targeted bunks, Johann took a more general approach. Unfortunately for the members of the Conspira-sea tent, he was the type of person to appreciate his privacy in a one-sided way that didn't extend to his poor victims. If any trunks and/or bags were left open, unlocked or otherwise able to be unlocked with magic, Johannes would quietly rifle through the contents of each and remove one half from every paired item within for later use. Shoes, socks, slippers, stray earrings, hairclips and more- none of the bunks except for Astrid's were safe. For the lonely unstolen shoes of each pair, he would continue to add salt to the wound and completely undo the laces, taking them with him as well. To complete his inconvenience circle of hell and add his mark, Johannes would approach the collective shrine and drop an empty BIC lighter in safety yellow next to the centerpiece knife, making sure to splatter it in red paint.
As he had a incriminatory haul that would confuse any sane, unknowing person, Johannes found himself leaving the tent much earlier than needed to quietly plant his stolen goods all around the campgrounds and its surrounding areas. Shoelaces were tied and tangled around branches as their irrespective shoes became filled with leaves, strewn about beneath benches and and within bushes. Socks were hidden within the coals of unlit fireplaces, their fabric blackened with soot and hiding torn scraps of paper with writtien 'clues' inside. If he had mixed up all the clues and put them into different socks at different times, who was to say?
As for jewelery and/or makeup, Johannes treated these fragile pieces with particular care, knowing first-hand how devestating the loss of a loved accessory could be. These items would carefully be hooked onto the tops of various tents. If he were to get caught and questioned hiding his stolen loot, he would only grin cryptidly and tell the asking party not to worry about it before trying to fly away and continue his tasks.
The best part was that, no matter how many things were found, Johannes would still have the upper-hand in knowing he had tried to wreck havoc on a large-scale. Whether it took them a few hours or god knows how long to re-find all of their things, the mere fact that the Conspira-sea tent was forced to go on a scavenger hunt was enough for him. After emptying his bag of supplies and returning it to his bunk, Johannes would continue on with his day's activities like normal, albeit in a better mood than usual.
Action: Stealing half of (mostly) every pair of items in the tent and hiding them around camp.
Full ass your problematic solutions to situations.text colour #4d5c7f

Dearest second string Seeker, #7. The Seeker that would soon be bred into our star after both I and Valetin graduate Durmstrang together.
Even before I entered the tent, everyone was already in full swing with trashing and rearranging the tent.
A local shrine is in the middle of the room. I approach it as others leave their markers. For myself, I had brought along a very interesting item: a copy of Treasure Island written in my native Italian. Placing it there, I dust my hands before letting a small whistle leave me as I assess the situation of the tents.
You know what this tent really needed? To learn how to sleep without mattresses.
Shrugging, I walk over to the mattress that Yefim filled with spiders. Hmmmm. Yes. This one will go on the ground where they will be forced to pick it up.
Dump.
Astrid's bunk... I have to mess something up so as not to rouse their suspicions against her. I glance towards Henry as he finishes up his work. "Charles. I have to slash her mattress a bit, at least. We don't want them figuring out that she's our mole. I'm sorry if this ruins your little hangout. Diffindo."
If the mattress was properly slashed, I would yank out a bit of stuffing, but just little enough that it would be easy to fix. This was tactical reassurance.
Now for the rest. "Valetin... Could you cast Reducio on these for me?" I indicate to the rest of the mattresses that I liked near the entrance. "I want to try and grow a mattress tree outside the tent they tried to frame."
Following Val's cast, I collected the handful of mattresses and behan my journey to find the "Shark Tent: Doo Doo Doo...?".
When found, I quickly dug a series of holes with a borrowed spade about three feet deep each at the entrance, placing a mattress in each and then pouring water on them from a watering can. I layered dirt on them, watering them every now and again, until I layered the last bit of dirt. For good measure I walk over it a few times to make it look semi-natural before dusting my hands again and rolling my neck.
Satisfied, I walk back to our own tent with a small skip in my step, whistling an idle ditty.Action: Burying every shrunk mattress like a line of petunias in front of "Shark Tent Doo Doo Doo...?" except for Astrid's (which he slashes the side of and pulls a bit of stuffing out of) and the one Yefim filled with spiders (Yef's spooder mattress is tossed to the floor where they will have to pick it up) & leaving behind an Italian copy of "Treasure Island" at the central shrine.Stats:

Prank War II

Valentin entered the Conspira-sea tent alongside Romeo, eyes and ears sharp for any planted traps that might await them. Although Astrid had been helping them with critical intel, the frost captain still had to ensure mission-critical details weren’t missed. It was possible Astrid had already been found out, without her knowing it, and the team still needed to be careful. As such, Valentin inspected the tent with the intent of being the first to find and take the brunt of any traps… if he was lucky, even defuse them before they could go off. If he did not find any, he would communicate this to the team.
Walking back over towards Romeo, Valentin inspected the outcome of the Italian’s handiwork thus far with a nod. "Valetin... Could you cast Reducio on these for me?" he asked, indicating the mattresses. "I want to try and grow a mattress tree outside the tent they tried to frame."
“Of course, Romeva,” smiled Valentin. He loved that idea. As the seeker reached for his wand, it seemed to vibrate with excitement at finally getting used. The beds aren’t even a living target, thought the seeker. This should be fine. With the V-shaped swing of his wand, Valentin attempted to cast the shrinking charm on all the mattresses except for Astrid’s and the one that Yefim had (presumably) laid an arachnid trap inside.
Valentin wasn’t done, however, and had to leave behind a signature prank of his own. From his duffle, Valya pulled a tightly clasped box he had brought from home. Next, the white seeker found a nearby unlocked chest, possibly belonging to Jamie Ziegler, or possibly to another, and opened it. He gently extracted whatever was inside of it and dispersed the items along the bottom of the tent wall where they wouldn’t be stepped on. With the local resident’s chest empty, Valentin gauged with his hands to confirm that there was enough space inside of it for his real payload. Then, in the flick of a latch, Valentin thrust his hands aggressively inside his own box to extract a raging, ferocious bludger. As much as the bludger may have struggled, Valentin was a proper, extremely experienced quidditch player and knew exactly the way to coax it inside his victim’s “treasure chest.” Val threw his lightweight body atop the box to hold it shut as he securely closed its latches, and when it seemed safe, he put the chest back where he found it. The next Conspirator to open it would surely be in for a surprise. Recovering his own bludger box back into his bag, Valentin looked around at the team’s handiwork as he prepared for departure.
Proceeding to the central Horntail shrine at last, Valentin pulled a pure glass chess piece out of his pocket, a perfectly transparent king. “Your move,” whispered Valentin. The boy's long fingers brushed across the cover of the Italian copy of Treasure Island on its way to laying the chess piece down on its side against the book’s spine.

INTERACTIONS @Horntail Horde | MENTIONING @Bubba McGarry @Ramzy Rossi
───•─•────────────────────────────────────•─•───
───•─•────────────────────────────────────•─•───Skirts and fabric swished and swayed along with the rhythm of disjointed and irregular steps. It wasn't exactly an easy thing to keep up with her group of obnoxiously tall Horntails, but Greta managed well enough whenever she took to skipping along. Every now and then, she would dart off from the group whenever a little flower or pretty stone caught her eye. Little knickknacks were never able to evade her pockets for long, and she would add them to the already plentiful collection of goodness-knew-what already residing deep within them.
A little hum of no tune in particular reverberated against her lips as she went, lips forming an impish little smile. Tonight she had the pleasure of being able to tag along with the Horde as they exacted a little bit of revenge. She still hadn't quite gotten over that surprise that had been left for them, and even now, she couldn't quite suppress the giggle that bubble forth. Of course she would press a hand over her mouth, guilt riddling her features as she did. Granted, she knew they weren't exactly trying to be subtle about their vengeful mission, but neither did she need to draw unneeded attention to the group.
Still, she was kind of excited. Nervous energy left her with a sort of restless tingling in her limbs and she couldn't wait to try to exact her own piece of the picture. Her goal: to see if she could find one-who-shall-be-known-as-SPICEY. Once the initial shock of finding their belongings in complete disarray had faded, Greta had been compelled to dive for her bunk to check the status of its contents. Somehow, most of her things had been mostly left untouched. Well. Relatively. Her trunk had been partly emptied, some of her things finding their place upon the ceiling with many of the rest, stuck in place by magic. Many of her other things (like her Silver Arrow) had become personified, googly eyes adhered to their surface. Never having seen such affixtures, she'd actually found it kind of funny. In fact, she had no plans to take them off.
She'd even been spared the worst of the glitter. The interior of her tent had looked like a faerie had flown through sprinkling dust all over. With her blanket attached around her bunk, however, she'd had a pretty effective barricade, saving her sleeping space from the worst of it.
That said, she hadn't been spared entirely. One of the first things she had checked for was her diary. She couldn't imagine a worse fate than had her diary been stolen or left open for all to see. Inner thoughts... little fantasies... silly hopes and dreams... Those were hers and hers, alone, to know.
Fortunately, it had been exactly where she had left it—stuffed under her pillow. Unfortunately, it had not been spared from notice. Only the cover had been needing opening before she felt her stomach drop through the floor. Glitter marred the insight. And not in any way that might suggest it had gotten there by accident. Try as she might, there was absolutely no way to ignore the fact that it had clearly stated "Spicey". Someone had opened her diary. Two questions then presented themselves: how much had they read? And who?
She meant to at least narrow down the latter. Which was actually a lot easier than she might have thought. After a quick little translation (she had no idea what "spicey" was, initially), she was immediately struck by the memory of the pollo anclada (... or whatever it had been called, she couldn't remember) at the barbakoo. Which meant it could really only be one of three people: Theo, Bubbie, or Pollo-girl. Although, somehow it didn't seem like something that Theo would do, nor did it look like his writing. Which left the other two as the only possible options.
So it was that when Greta entered into the tent amidst the mass of her fellows, she was on a hunt for evidence. Up would go the lids of any and every trunk that she could find. Back would go the linens. She wasn't she what she as looking for, exactly, but surely she'd know it when she found it. That or she would simply be inadvertently assisting the others with undressing the mattresses so they could be shrunk and buried. Most of what she found would be nothing interesting. Books, clothes, that sort of thing. But then... buried beneath a mass of other things as though to try to keep it out of sight, she found something particularly interesting.
"LOOK!" The gasped exclamation sounded seconds after she had worked out the tied off knot of a bag. Jumping to her feet, she held it open for the rest to see. Inside was exactly the same glitter that had made such a familiar home all over their own tent. "This is definitely the right place!" Of course.. that just made her curious about the identity of whoever it was that had tried—and so amusingly failed—at setting up that glitter bomb. There wasn't anything particularly identifying about their belongings except that they were female, though (it is Ramzy Rossi's trunk, per Bubba's post). Not like that would stop her from digging her hand into the glitter and smearing a healthy amount of it all over the inside of their trunk and amongst their things.
And then she'd skip through the rest of their tent throwing glitter at random, much as they had done to the Horntail Horde's. Except for the shrine slowly building in the middle. That would be left untouched, obviously. Until she saw the cup of unmistakably melted ice coffee. Practically skidding to her feet, Greta's gaze honed in on it, immediately flashing back to the barbakoo and the cup that the boy had settled beside him. Then swiveled back to the trunk she had attacked ferociously with glitter. Then back to his. Eyes narrowed, lips pouting. It seemed too coincidental that he would be here too... right? Plus... surely there were plenty of other children who drank whatever it was that he had so fondly imbibed... And yet, she still couldn't quite shake this feeling that she had missed something, although she couldn't quite place her finger on what that might have been.
Nevertheless, she would trail in towards his trunk and take a closer look. A stuffed green parrot lay amongst the boring things. A sly smirk tugged at her lips. Snatching up the parrot, she would dart to the shrine and place it on the floor, crouched in front of it and taking very very specific care on how she lined it up relative to the rest. It was really important that this didn't mess up all the hard work that everyone else had done, and so she ensured it sat sort of alone and forward a ways from the rest of it. Only once satisfied did she jump to her feet and hop back, pull her wand from a pocket. "Engorgio!" Her intent: to make the parrot swell to absolutely ridiculous proportions. If she needed to repeat the spell, then she would. Right until the parrot served as a center feature whose fuzzy feathery head practically brushed the tent ceiling.
Then she was right back to the trunk, trying to see what she could do next. They were running out of time, though, and the rest seemed like they were getting ready to pack up. A funny looking thing caught her eye. It looked like a man-made turtle, almost. With wheels instead of legs. She poked her fingers at little frames (windows) on the sides and turned it over several times in her hands, then put it on the ground and rolled it back and forth a bit. Not really sure what to do with it, she would settle with something simple. Out would come the glitter again. Whether or not it had a number on it, it certainly would now. With the help of a sticky charm to make sure the glitter couldn't be easily wiped off, the car would soon sport great glittery '19's on both sides. An homage to her own quidditch uniform number when she was still on the Durmstrang quidditch team. And then, "colorvaria", a quick shift into a very pink and pastel colour scheme.
Onto the shrine for Durmstrang that would go as well. But she would take without giving back. In their places in the trunk, Greta would leave a rather patchy looking grey and black feather (for the parrot) and a snail (for the car). And then she would dash out the door, leaving a scattered handful of items from her pocket onto the shrine: a little blue stone, a nice skipping rock, a little twig that looked like a teeny tiny slingshot, and a rather wilted daisy. And then she would zoom from the tent, arms wide like a bird, just wishing she could somehow stay to watch their reactions, but knowing that would spoil everything.

Perpetrators Round 2: Team 7
It seemed that no one told team seven that it was okay to keep things simple. No, they were out for blood and came with a full coordinated attack to exact their revenge. They showed their creativity in battle and proved that Durmstrang was ready for anything. But their pranks were time-consuming and the team would run a high risk of being caught by the other team if they weren't careful while building their central shrine.
After doing a small amount of redecorating, Yefim Rumyantsev (@Flash Holmwood) had a creepy but creative little prank in mind. They successfully cast the spider conjuring spell in Miles Thatcher's bed. The arachnid would happily scurry around under the covers as they lay in wait. They would be able to escape the tent without being detected...
Charles Alluring (@Henry Knight) was on a mission. A flag rolling mission. They made it look like it was their purpose in life as they quickly Durmstrang flags would be placed all over the tent. Some were placed haphazardly while others were far more secure but the boy was wildly successful in showing that Durmstrang pride. A pillow fort was even made and decorated with illustrious flags and a note. Passing notes is a sign of true love. The only thing more impressive than the flags was how quickly Charles was able to escape once it was time to leave. They must have had places to be.
Valentin Schnell (@Aida MA Ellwood) clearly had a unique job as they were able to successfully shrink a few of the beds for their companion. However, their true focus was that of hiding a bludger. Somehow they were able to wrestle the rebellious little bludger into a chest that they believed belonged to Jamie. The bludger fought back but was no match for the experienced Valentin. There would be a rattling sound from within the chest that would be impossible to ignore but opening it might prove painful... The task of opening it would Jamie Ziegler (@Gemima Sable) who would unleash the bludger into the tent to cause further chaos. Unlike Charles, Valentin was barely able to slip out of the tent before the inhabitants would return. The others would even see some unknown boy running from the tent.
Romeo Marchonne (@Pierre Marchonne), decided they were going to risk discovery with the complicated task of burying the shrunken mattresses after cutting one open... Luckily, their high strength allowed them to quickly dig a small hole to hide them in front of the tent. However, they were sloppy in covering it back up so it would be clear that the ground had been disturbed. It would not take the other team long to figure out where their runaway mattresses went. After leaving an Italian version of 'Treasure Island' at their central shrine in the tent, Romeo was somehow able to slip away undetected.
The glitter queen Greta Fransson, (@Evelynn Decipio, showed that the world would rain glitter upon those who opposed her! Although the glitter was a bit clumpy, she needed to work on her glittering skills. But before they would depart, Greta was able to successfully cast engorgio on a stuffed green parrot who grew enough to poke the ceiling. It could be now used as a bed... After vandalizing a few more items and adding to the central and growing shrine, Greta would escape the tent with Valentin. The two would be seen from behind as they ran away but no other clues about their identities.
Then there was Johannes Sauer (@Astrea Soleil Neptune)... They had a great idea. Stealing and hiding items that had a pair. But they had very unfortunate luck. As they tried hiding items, they would be discovered immediately by the Groundskeeper out for a stroll. While Johannes hid things, the Groundskeeper wandered slowly behind and would slowly collect the stolen items. As Johannes returned to their own tent thinking they had pulled off a great heist, the Groundskeeper returned all of the items to team 8's tent with a note reading:With the items back safely, the Groundskeeper resumed his walk and left team 8 to deal with their mess. These items were all 'borrowed' by Johannes Sauer... - There will be the Perpetrator Phase and Victim phase for each round
- At the start of each round, one team will be designated the ‘Perpetrators’. Their job is to plot and prank the other tent/group. The Perpetrators will have one week to post any plotting and attempted pranks before there will be a Moderation post. This Moderation will roll to see the successes and failures of your pranks and stealth. (You don’t want to be found out!)
- Each member of the Perpetrators can either do an individual prank or work with teammates for larger pranks to improve the success rate and scale of the prank.
- The other group/tent will be designated as ‘The Victims’ of that round. After the moderation, the Victim team can react to the successful or failed pranks against them and begin plotting their own revenge. This Victim Phase will also receive one week.
- Once the Victim Phase ends, the team roles will swap and a new round will begin. So if Team A is the Perpetrator in Round One, Team A will be the Victims in Round Two.

As she entered the tent, Astrid forgot what she had come for in the first place. A path - literally a path - of myosotis and other wild flowers started from the entrance to go to her bunk which had changed its decoration. The little Quidditch and nature decorations she had put up the previous days had been transformed into something beautiful. All the rest of the tent covered with Durmstrang flags was just a detail.
Astrid walked towards her bunk with a huge smile on her face. Durmstrang flags and cushions were used as curtains. The girl looked at the bunks next to her and saw that they had no more cushions, which made her laugh. Opening the "curtains", she saw that her sheets were covered with a large Durmstrang flag and that sweets and patches were in the shape of the school logo. Astrid took a candy and put it in her mouth.
She then turned her head towards her pillows to see that a quaffle plushie and an an snitch plushie had been added to her bed. Astrid grabbed the small pillow and admired the embroidered inscription on it. Looking at the small pile of cushions, she saw a piece of paper which she grabbed and unfolded. She first saw the drawing. Then she read the message. Obviously the surprise was from Charles. It was perfectly logical. Astrid laughed as she imagined the reaction of the other members of the tent.
— The others are going to be so upset! It's going to be so funny!
Astrid thought of putting the cushions back in everyone's bunk but thought it would be more fun if she had them all. She admired the Durmstrang logo in candy again and then pushed them all aside. She took the patches and put them in her bag - she would tie them later - and sat cross-legged on the bunk. She grabbed the two plushies and put them next to her and started to eat the candy while waiting for the others to arrive.

Bonfire time for @EmmaLee LeDames, @Emma Wynnas Louca Dufort, @Bubba McGarry, @AngelFyre McCubbinas Stephen Schwartz, @Ramzy Rossi, @Gemima Sable as Jamie Ziegler, but not @Anastasia Varney as Astrid Olsen
Miles had just gotten back from some quidditch practice when he came into the tent and saw Astrid, standing amongst what was now chaos and just sitting on her bunk which was suspiciously and quite obviously left alone from all the redecorating. "Wow, really?" was all Miles wanted to say to her. He understood that it was her school and a quidditch team and he knew loyalty, but their pranks had been harmless, almost childlike. There weren't things missing and broken.
No, that wasn't all he wanted to say to her. "Maybe, Durmstrang girl," there was no need to even both with her name, "you should go shove off to another tent. Can't think you're too welcomed here. I'd say you could use more of these flags to section yourself off, but no, I've got a better plan for them." And as he talked, Miles began to snatch up flag after flag after flag, draping them over his one arm as he grabbed them with the other.
He was out of the tent and away from that girl. At the beginning, sure she seemed a little awkward but he wasn't going to hold it against her but now? Well, it was obvious her space was left alone and obvious that she wasn't at all upset what happened to their tent. He was all for unity with his tentmates - something he'd extend out to anyone but her.
The glitter, the items - all things magic could fix. A mending charm, a cleaning charm, accio for lost items. He wasn't too concerned. All those things were fixable. The audacity of the Durmstrang girl? No.
"Hey, yo! Conspira-Sea members? Someone grab some marshmallows and sticks and follow me! It's time for a bonfire!" and he walked away from the tents to a more open area of the stadium, back where they had the campfire for the ghost stories. He tossed the flags down into the center of the already made ring, knowing that it would keep the fire under controlled, and then slipped out his wand. "Incendio!" he said clearly.

Stephen walked in..... or tried to walk into the Conspira-sea tent, but he found he had to navigate around a tacky shrine of sorts, and a ginormous parrott. Scanning the rest of the tent, he stopped short as Miles was dressing down Astrid. Listening to Miles and surveying the environs, it was obvious what had happened. So, Astrid had given in and turned on her tent mates after all. Not cool.
It was one thing to call him an asshole while they pranked the Durmstrang Gang, but to be a known spy amidst "her enemies" was likely not going to be too pleasant for her. Miles was right. Seeking out another tent would be the wisest choice perhaps - certainly the most comfortable - but the girl struck him as stubborn enough to stay.
Which was fine. She could not stay safely within her little ornate bungalow for the next 3 weeks solid. She would have to leave sometime, even if it was simply to go to the lavatory. Time was most definitely not on her side.
Liking the cut of Miles Thatcher's jib, Stephen added nothing to what had already been said to the traitor. What more was there to say to her? Instead, he decided he liked the idea of the bonfire and gathered the marshmallows and some sticks.
Because he was a neat freak and very particular about where his things went, he checked his trunk for some chocolate he had stored within. He had made a false bottom in his trunk the very first night of camp to keep any of his very most private papers or mementos away from prying eyes during the month he would be here. As camp had only really just started, the only thing in there he actually valued were his Ghirardelli chocolate bars. The horde was not as thorough as they could have been, but they were thorough enough.
Still, it was a night for burning Durmstrang garbage and enjoying the company of others. He grabbed the chocolate bars and took those along with him to the bonfire. Smore's were sounding pretty good right now.
"Yo, Miles! Wait up, man. We can walk over there together."

The Durmstrang students definitely had not held back. Jamie squeezed past the giant stuffed bird, only to trip on a mountain of crimson memorabilia. He kicked the stupid flags out of the way and went on to inspect the rest of the damage.
After looking around silently for a solid minute and a half ( a new record!) he could only come up with one word to describe the counter-pranks.
"Amateurs!" It was an uncharacteristically elaborate word for Jamie, but he had a pretty good grasp of the meaning.
The opposing team had been sloppy, in comparison the the totally superior Conspira-Sea gang. The flag piles were haphazard and random, the glitter was clumpy, the mattresses were badly buried, and Jamie was pretty ding-dang sure he'd seen a couple of the pranksters running away just before he had arrived.
Although... There was one thing that had managed to capture his attention. His trunk was clattering and jumping around most ominously.
"What the heck...?" Jamie walked over to the thrashing chest and knelt down. His fingers hovered over the clasp for a moment. There was a little nagging voice in the back of his mind, telling him that perhaps this wasn't such a good idea.
Jamie scoffed and undid the chest clasp. "That's what they want me to think," he chuckled, cracking the lid wide open.
"Well sucks for them, 'cause I'm not gonna fall for-- motherfucker!"
Something rocketed out of the chest and straight into his nose with a sickening crack. Jamie toppled backwards, howling, as the rogue bludger zoomed gleefully around the tent.
"Miles! Stephen!" Jamie screeched, "Wait for me!"
He slapped a hand over his nose, scrambled to his feet, and gathered up as many flags and Durmstrang knickknacks as he could find. When he caught up to the others, he was quite a sight-- with hair wilder than ever, blood smeared over his skin, and a dangerous glint in his eyes.
"Let's get this fire started, yeah?"

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"

Prank War II

Norwegian — Russian — English
— Yeah, really. You like it?
Astrid could see that Miles was annoyed, which made her smile. She stood up, wondering what he and the heads that were starting to arrive would do. If they wanted to go and prank the Hornatails, it was now but she wasn't going to tell them that.
— Maybe, Durmstrang girl, you should go shove off to another tent. Can't think you're too welcomed here. I'd say you could use more of these flags to section yourself off, but no, I've got a better plan for them.
— Three things. One : I have a name, it's Astrid. Two : I'm obviously going to ask if I can go with the Horntails. Not because you told me to, bet because they are way better than you guys. Three : What the hell are you doing?
The boy was removing as many flags as possible from the tent. He didn't go near her, which suited her because she really wanted to keep the plushies. The blond man from Ilvermorny went in, then out again. Too many Durmstrang flags in the tent. Then the third Ilvermorny entered, and rushed to his trunk.
— Well sucks for them, 'cause I'm not gonna fall for-- motherfucker!
Astrid turned her head suddenly. She wasn't going to let some stupid redhead from Ilvermorny - the problem wasn't the hair colour, Astrid then people with red hair in general - call her friends and classmates "motherfuckers". Unfortunately, her voice was too high-pitched for her to sound really angry when she answered.
— Don't call them "motherfuckers"! You did worse earlier!
Astrid came out of the tent with the others, imagining what the three boys could do with all these flags and when she heard Miles announcing roasted marshmallows, she decided that she was not invited. So much for that. She already had plenty of candy. But she was going to have a problem tonight. She wouldn't be able to sleep at the Conspira-sea. She didn't want to and the other members wouldn't either.
Charles had said that if the Conspira-sea tent members had a problem with his surprise, he and the other Horntails would help her. Anyway, Astrid wanted to join the Horntail Horde tent from the beginning but they were already 10 members. Now that they were only 9, maybe they could welcome her.
Astrid returned to the tent and started to pack her bag. Her - many - clothes were still inside. She added the two plushies, her personalised cushion and Charles' note. She put the sweets, the patches and the flag she had managed to save in a second bag. That's how she found herself walking across the Quidditch Stadium with the bag on her back, the second bag in one hand, her broom in the other. A bunch of forget-me-nots and other wildflowers caught on the way were sticking out of one of the bags. Astrid intended to make them last forever and to decorate her broom with them.
Arrived in front of the Horntail Horde, Astrid thought that entering directly was not really a good idea. The entrance being made of fabric, she couldn't knock. She was sure they would accept her. Maybe she could even join the Durmstrang team for the Hexwizard?
— Someone's here? It's Astrid. The others didn't liked the surprise so they kinda kicked my out.
