Bad Memory
June 11th Saturday, Early Morning
Hunter stood out in the open location once again. The great lake was such a nice place to be located, and it was full of all sorts of experiences for him. It was where he met his first love interest, it was where he found peace and seclusion, and it was the place he felt the safest without supervision. He needed the courage for today's action, and he took a slight deep breath as he waited beneath the bright sun and shade. It was the middle of June, and the intense heat didn't bother him as he waited. There was certainly enough shade to protect him, and he found quite a large boulder slightly covered in moss while waiting. He had a satchel bag thrown across his body, and despite it being a Saturday, Hunter still wore his blue-black robes. He waited, and waited for the arrival of someone new.
The person, in particular, was an upperclassman, and they approached Hunter a bit out of the blue. It seems news about Hunter's skills in potions began to spread; despite Hunter having become more and more quiet and secluded in his studies and actions. He never once boasted of his work, and he actually preferred to be left alone. Yet, people are bound to talk and many people wanted to try and request potions from others. Some weren't gifted, some weren't committed, and others just figured it is easier to just request (or force) others to brew it for them. Hunter tended to get requests every so often. Normally he would just ignore such requests, and other times he'd be willing to accept for certain reasons.
Hunter took out a vial of a black slurry. A mixture of something that wasn't even a potion(This is a mixture of Water, Doy eggs, and Belladonna), but his next client, or rather victim, didn't quite have to know that. He swirled the slightly black and dark slurry in the glass vial a bit more, curious if the heat of the environment was bound to cause the taste to be worse. Eventually, he saw the person he was waiting for approaching.
Hunter placed the vial on the ground and took out his personal journal. He opened a new page, and began to write the name "Hanako Tone." A slight description for Hanako was written in Hunter's journal, such as the boy's jet black hair and rather fierce-some (or flamboyant) appearance. Hunter also made a slight note of Hanako's personality based on their previous interaction. Hanako had approached Hunter and made comments about Hunter knowing how to do potions. Based upon his words of "a little birdy told me," Hunter assumed another Ravenclaw had gotten such words out. He thought about having a word with @Sophia Nelson in the future in suspicion that she potentially was the one to let such word get out. That didn't matter though, for Hanako had also called Hunter a midget and Hunter didn't quite mind being called short all the time (especially since he already knew he was slightly shorter than his fellow first years), but something about a snarky tone from a higher-up didn't quite sit well with him. He felt annoyed, but he brushed off his feelings towards a better thought.
Hunter jumped off the rock, picked up the glass vial, and took a few steps before Hanako had reached him. He placed the vial a couple of feet away from the rock on the ground, and a lot more feet away from Hanako. Hunter turned around and sat back upon his mossy rock. He looked at Hanako, adjusting his yellow-tinted glasses. Hunter turned his head back towards his journal to take a few more notes on Hanako's appearance while saying, "There's your Memory Potion. It was a rather bothersome thing to make since it required the involvement of mandrakes." Hunter actually didn't know quite know how to brew the memory potion yet, but he did research a bit on the potion and its recipe after his encounter with Hanako a previous day. However, Hanko would be in for a surprise, "I suggest drinking the potion right now. I have another dosage," Hunter took out another glass vial that contained a much more teal color (This is an Antidote to Common Poisons). The color difference in both vials was definitely obvious, but Hunter made sure to take any idea into account: " I crafted two different memory potions. The one in front of you is the actual memory potion. The one I have in my hand is an experimental version that should work much better and allow even better memory recall. If the first one works, then I can definitely conclude this second one works." All lies, but it was all necessary. "Oh, and I do apologize about the taste. Many potions have a bitter taste, and I can't alter it due to the risk of botching the potion itself." Hunter did all this without making eye contact with Hanako. Hunter didn't enjoy eye contact, even in his secluded spot; however, his eyes did shift around the place. Worried and paranoid like always and taking notes on all sorts of things.

Bad Memory

Exploiting the weak hearts of teeny weeny juniors to his own benefit. Hanako truly was going back to his old roots. Did he feel bad for it? Nawhhhhh. From what he recalled, he asked quite politely. Even going as far as to offer compensation in exchange for the potion. See? He wasn’t as bad as most people would expect him to be. He didn’t even need to use any tricks to get what he wanted from the Ravenclaw boy named… named… well it looked like he forgot his name again. But who cares, really? Midget suited the kid much better.
Now why was Hanako asking a kid to make him a memory potion was quite simple; he was too lazy to do it himself. He never saw the fascination potioneers have when making potions, even as a 3rd year. His muggle upbringing might’ve had something to do with it since the very idea of magical potions was only mentioned in fairytale stories. But even with that, between making a potion himself, and making- er- asking another person to do it, the answer was obvious.
Never mind the fact that memory potions were a 3rd-year potion. Though he never praised the Midget openly, he heard promising things about him. Particularly his potion skills. Wouldn’t be too far-fetched to believe he already was fully capable of making slightly more advanced potions.
So after coercing - er- convincing the midget to fulfill Hanako’s request, the plan was simple. Wait for Midget to finish his potion, then meet somewhere where fewer eyes are available. Usually, Hanako would be cautious about the location. But remembering it was a meek first year he was meeting he had nothing to worry about. He believed the stereotype of Ravenclaws possessing some degree of intelligence, therefore Midget knew better than to piss off an older year, truly.
Once Hanako arrived, it seemed that Midget truly meant business. Seeing as how he immediately introduced Hanako to the requested potion. "There's your Memory Potion. It was a rather bothersome thing to make since it required the involvement of mandrakes."
“ Not even a good morning, kid?” he quipped teasingly. “ You know, it would do you good to be nicer to me. If the first potion goes well, I might be a regular customer of yours~”.
Hanako took note of the vial a few feet away from him. Why wouldn’t the kid just give the vial to him by hand? And to make it even more suspicious, the kid took out another vial from his hands. Perhaps Hanako’s confusion was too obvious, or perhaps he already practiced this in his room to be dramatic about it. Because not a moment later, he explained the reason behind it.
“Oh, you serious?” Hanako, for once- sounded genuinely impressed. Damn, he totally scored the jackpot today. All hail his talent of listening to seemingly useless gossip! It didn’t occur to the boy that this was too good to be true. All he knew was that right in front of him was the key to skipping studying entirely. While his head was filled with fantasies about being the smartest kid in Hogwarts, he completely missed out Hunter’s warning about the potion being bitter.
Like a sugar-obsessed kid seeing candy, he hastily made his way to the potion and uncapped it. “ Yeah yeah, whatever. Hey, you know what, kid? Perhaps being a nerd really does have its perks. I’m liking you more and more” More specifically, he liked Midget’s potion skills. “With this talent, I wouldn’t complain so much about your customer service”, Hanako said, hinting at the fact that they haven’t even shared eye contact. Ravenclaws and their books n’ brains. No fun. oh boi was he going to take that back in a minute
His perky mood wouldn’t last long, however, because once he had started gulping down the ‘memory potions’, there was no going back. “ uRGH- what the hell-”. Every millisecond, he seemed to feel worse. Hanako didn’t have the luxury to even think about the awful taste the potion left in his mouth. The sensation was the one thing overtaking his mind right now. The potion vial dropped from his hand as he covered his mouth. By instinct, he was awfully reminded of the times when he puked out slugs. And that certain memory spiked sudden fear in his heart.
If the Midget decided to look in Hanako’s direction, he could see the full view of a very…very..very angry 3rd year.
“ Y o u…” Hanako gritted his teeth, seething “ l i t t l e..” before he could think of a clever nickname for the boy and take a step forward, he was hit by a wave of nausea. With a groan, he fell to his knees. Thankfully, he still had enough energy to avoid falling on the shattered potion vial. But that didn’t help his condition better. In fact, it got worse.
Barely keeping his eyes open, his hands hastily moved between his stomach, his chest, and his eyes, as if it would help with the pain. He was in absolute hell he couldn’t even feel angry anymore. He pinched his shirt and fanned his chest while heaving, holding in a massive urge to barf out whatever the heck his stomach wanted to barf out. He wanted to say a lot of things to the boy. Mainly not with words but will incredibly painful flipendos. But in his condition, he could only continue to focus on himself.
With eyes closed, he could only mutter out a few words between exhausted sighs.
“ That's -. That's not what-its supposed- to - “ taste like. He couldn’t finish his sentence but continued to fan himself while swallowing back whatever wanted to come out. At least in comparison to slug puking, he could at least keep his clothes clean this time.

Bad Memory
Hunter was taken aback by how swift Hanako had taken the potion. He assumed a few more questions were going to be asked, but it seemed Hunter landed on Hanako's good side a lot faster than he thought. Hunter took out a mechanical pocket watch and began the timer making a note to himself, "add 3 seconds," as Hanako began to drink the black sludge. Incidentally, though, Hunter immediately stopped the watch with a bit of a surprised look. For an upper-classman, Hunter had increased the concentration of ingredients to perhaps render Hanako in a much worse state. Yet, he wasn't expecting the poison to act so swiftly. To his surprise, Hunter stopped the watch and lifted his head to gain a glimpse of Hanako's irate look. It sent a slight fear down Hunter's spine, but he wasn't going to be a coward today. He calculated the possibilities, the time, and the location. He came prepared and was confident in his skills when it came to precaution.
He didn't give a smirk because he wasn't a cocky child but rather sighed as he was perhaps expecting a better response out of Hanako. This clearly wasn't going to go well or smoothly, but when did it ever? Hunter stayed upon the mossy rock he was on; slightly comfortable, and the higher elevation and distance he had from Hanako allowed him to stay a bit more confident for the time being. Hunter listened to Hanako's words but brushed them off. Hunter had no interest in money, and selling off potions wasn't the strongest of interest. He wanted to know more about potions and their real applications and as such, his customers were really victims. From those victims, he could continue on learning more about Hogwarts and its houses. The young boy was always paranoid and trusted no one. Bad experiences clouded his mind during his overall first year at Hogwarts, and as such, he felt he needed to know more to protect himself and those close to him.
As the last words of Hanako's words spewed out in a bit of rage, Hunter merely wrote a bit more in his journal with a lack of look in being worried, "I suspected you to vomit by now, are you resisting the urge? Based on what I've read, our bodies respond better than our minds to incidents. If your body wants to vomit, it's probably better to listen to it rather than your own thoughts," Hunter wrote more in his journal about Hanako's resilience and a slight whisper came out, "Didn't think it be this easy to trick an upperclassman." It sounded ridiculing towards Hanako, but to Hunter, it was an honest thought, and it would develop into a lesser fear of this above his grade.
"I suppose the cat's out of the bag now, and honesty would be the best policy as of current. For starters Mr. Tone, that potion was actually a poison. You've probably realized it by now, but I doubt the full effects of the concoction have taken effect just yet. If you begin to hallucinate then please inform me." Hunter seemed to be rather calm during the entire altercation. His body was stern, but his eyes jerked every so often to its corners to subtle movements of leaves and perhaps the wind. He tensed for a quick second, but a rustling of leaves turned out to be a couple of birds fluttering away. His breath had stopped, but he let out a deep breath in relief. It was really a nice and quiet day, but very unfortunate he and Hanako had to spend it in such a cruel and distasteful way: "I hope we can make this quick with your full cooperation Mr. Tone. This blue vial is actually an antidote to that poison. Answer my questions well, and I'll gladly hand it to you. If you don't then we'll be spending the next hour together in this dreadful heat." Hunter's hand lifted the vial and shook it a bit left and right, a clear indication of the antidote, but could also be interpreted as a mistaken taunt.
"So, let's start quickly. Since you've been at Hogwarts longer than me, how many Werewolves are in Slytherin? Or perhaps even Parselmouths since that seems to be a unique one to some of you." Hunter had read and studied a small amount about those who could speak with snakes. Yet, he never actually met a student who could. From others, he heard of the Chamber of Secrets and how only those who spoke such a language had access. No secrets could be kept from Hunter, he needed to know more. As for the werewolf part, that was a more personal and family matter that he needed to know and keep watch of: "Please provide names as well, Mr.Ton-" Hunter's voice stopped. The familiarity and the situation were just as unexpected as last time. Hunter gave an unsatisfactory look, and sighed as if annoyed enough as is, "Welcome back... Ms. Nelson..."

Bad Memory
--- Date: 11/06/22 || Time: Morning ---
Outfit: Casual dress, no shoes, tight ponytail, backpack with Antidote to Common Poisons, wand, a few bottles of water, some miscellaneous potions, and some snacks
Sophia huffed breathlessly as she ran as fast as her bare feet could carry her along the river by the Great Lake. She hadn't worn shoes, figuring they'd just slow her down, and she was absolutely right. Growing up in rural Georgia had given her a tolerance for stepping on rocks and all kinds of jagged features of nature with her bare feet, so that wasn't a problem.
The problem was that the river was much longer than she'd expected, and the directions Hunter had given her to the next 'subject' hadn't specified exact distances, so she was taking longer than she liked to reach them.
"Follow the river. Bed of rocks. Turn away from lake."
She repeated the directions over and over in a strange mantra that would hopefully guide her to the next victim before he ingested the poison. It didn't necessarily serve a purpose to say it out loud, but it did help to steel her resolve and give her courage to face what she was about to face.
When she finally reached the bed of rocks, Sophia slowed to a fast walk, digging into her backpack for her wand. She hoped she wouldn't need it, and she didn't think Hunter would threaten her with his since he actually expected her this time, but she couldn't just walk in unprepared.
With her wand in hand, Sophia closed her backpack and slung it back over her back, turning from the lake and carrying on. Just when she was starting to lose hope and think that maybe Hunter had sent her on a wild goose chase, she heard voices ahead. To her horror, it sounded as if she was too late. She could hear the sound of violent retching - or something similar, at least - from who she presumed was the victim. The words came from Hunter. She'd found them.
"I suppose the cat's out of the bag now, and honesty would be the best policy as of current. For starters Mr. Tone, that potion was actually a poison. You've probably realized it by now, but I doubt the full effects of the concoction have taken effect just yet. If you begin to hallucinate then please inform me."
Sophia ducked behind a tree to hide and listen so she could get a better idea at what was going on. She couldn't walk in blindly again. Unfortunately, her foot brushed a bit of shrubbery near the tree she was hiding behind, and she froze as Hunter seemed to notice it. Thankfully his attention soon returned to the other boy present. Why did the older boy look familiar?
Then Hunter's questions began. He'd done the same thing with the Bubba the prior week, but this was different. He wasn't asking questions about the effects of the poison this time. Surely he hadn't been lying about his only goal being improving his ability to treat poisons, had he? Sophia had faith that he wasn't lying, but his questions this time were, frankly suspicious.
He was asking about werewolves, and Parselmouths. Sophia didn't even know what a parselmouth was, but she certainly knew a werewolf. He was one of her best friends, and she couldn't let his identity get out. She had to protect Colin.
Making her footsteps as loud as possible so that her presence was easily noticed, she prayed as hard as she could that the boy on the ground clutching his stomach wouldn't give any names. She held her hands up in surrender as she had before, but this time she had a wand in her hand. She held it only loosely, and tried to make it clear to Hunter that it was a loose grip.
Sophia wouldn't admit that she was a bit hurt at the annoyed sigh when Hunter noticed her.
"Welcome back... Ms. Nelson..."
"Hey, Hunter," she said carefully. "Sorry I'm late. I, uh, underestimated how far this was. How 'bout we skip ahead a bit and you let me give this boy an antidote?"
She knew it wouldn't work. Hunter wouldn't let his plans be interrupted twice in a row, not even for her. She didn't know what they were. Friends? Enemies? Rivals? Some strange three-circle Venn diagram that included all three? She was personally fond of Hunter. They shared interests, and if he'd only stop with these 'experiments' she would go as far as to bet that they would be very close friends. But he didn't seem as fond of her. She was more of a nuisance to him, as far as she could tell. A nuisance whose potion-brewing abilities he seemed to respect, sure, but still a nuisance. That made her a bit sad.
Suddenly Sophia realized just how aggressive she probably appeared, stomping into this 'meeting' with her wand in hand. It looked like she was planning to attack, and that wouldn't help with negotiations at all!
"Look, I have my wand here, but you're not pointing yours at me this time, so I'm going to put it in my backpack. Is that okay?"
Her hand slowly reached for her backpack, ready to stop if Hunter didn't trust her. She had a feeling that Hunter knew her well enough to know that all she had in her bag were a few potions at most.
"While I do it, do one of you guys - er, Hunter, do you want to fill me in on the situation?"
She tried not to wince at the figure on the floor. He looked far worse than Bubba, but the symptoms were all there. It had to be the same poison from before. But why was he so much worse off? All she could do in the precarious situation was hope that the hallucinations didn't kick in. She could only imagine what an angry, hallucinating older student was capable of, and she didn't want to be in his warpath.

Bad Memory

Either his fury was motivating him, or he was beginning to be numb to the pain. But he was suddenly able to hear whatever the hell this kid was saying. Once he could get his legs working again, he was definitely ready to give this kid the flipendo of his life. Not while he’s still suffering like this. As if it wasn’t enough to be p o i s o n e d, he was mocked, with the antidote dangling where he couldn’t reach it, and now he was going to need to answer a few questions. This birdy (Hana still forgot the name of the person who poisoned him) shouldn’t consider a career as an interviewer. He forgot the most basic things when it comes to doing that job, like oh maybe NOT POISON THE PEOPLE YOU WANT ANSWERS FROM.
He had no energy to even question why the Ravenclaw went through lengths just to have a few questions. Hana’s response to them? A string of extremely irritated grumbles and breathing that's slowly but surely getting more erratic. Both from his churning stomach and refraining from tackling the kid with every last energy Hanako had.
However the second the first question and the mention of werewolves popped up, Hanako talked over him, patience just gone..“ HOW THE HELL WOULD I KNOW FRIGIGN WEREWOLFS YOU-”
“ Or perhaps even Parselmouths “
“ A-..”
“ since that seems to be a unique one to some of you."
Hanako had been pretty consistent with the reactions he was giving his poisoner. Agitated grumbling, cursing, screaming, the intense need to end him. But something the younger boy said clearly struck a cord. And for the first time they met, Hunter would have the privilege of seeing a new rare expression from Hanako. Genuine fear.
It disappeared as soon as it came, but the deed was done. After all, it was harder to hide your expression when it was only a few minutes ago that you attacked with poison. Poise and neutral expressions were not something Hanako could physically do at the moment. And once he realized that, his earlier irritated expression came back. This was not the right time to question the Ravenclaw’s intention with that information. His grumbled subsided and have been replaced with an eerie silence, but that was mainly due to the massive headache that was kicking in.
Perhaps he should reevaluate his tactics. Why not use this disadvantage for good? Why not barf on that cocky little shit? An action he would later regret, but was Hanako’s morals slightly screwed due to the pain he was enduring? Yes. Did the midget deserve it? Yes. Would it feel good to see his face so disgusted? Yes. The more he went on, the more he was ready to do it. It didn’t seem like Hanako’s answers satisfied him. The older year had no information on werewolves, and was even less willing to share information on Parselmouths. What do snakes do when they’re cornered? They bite. Or with this particular snake, they barf.
Before he could push himself off the ground, he heard another voice. Through slightly muffled, no doubt to the poison, he stumbled back to the ground trying his best to listen to her words. And her skin was a mush of… green and purple? Barney? Okay, Hanako wasn’t going to comment on that and just closed his eyes.
Hanako initially had many questions. Like maybe why is she acting like this was another And Tuesday for her? ‘Sorry I’m late'?!? Also, why is she still asking that (Hunter) to give the potions? Why not just blast him and help a poor helpless Hanako? And so politely at that? There was clearly more going on with the Ravenclaw and the Barney look-a-like. But did Hanako let his mind wander around that? No. What did his mind wander to instead? He was wondering if his breakfast earlier was enough to barf on not one, but two little midget birdies instead.
That is if someone doesn’t save him from this miserable state he’s in. And quick.

Hunter's eyes slightly narrowed at Sophia for her wand, but to see her begin to receed it back down into her backpack wouldn't ease him down. For her to have it out in the first place for this sort of meeting could only cause Hunter to become more wary and cautious of the girl. There was a willingness in the boy that wanted to trust Sophia, but there was always a looming shadow holding him back from ever attempting. Hunter kept his distance from Sophia just as much as he did from Hanako. However, it always begged the question as to why he requested her to come. If anything, she was just going to interfere, and for Hunter to tell her the next location was only going to be a hindrance to his goals. He sighed, cold and unnerving as always: "If you wish to duel me, Ms.Nelson, understand I'm not an easy target to deal with." No smirk or a chance to seem cocky and boast. It was a warning, and most likely the only one Sophia was going to be given. Despite his figure, many underestimate Hunter for having duelist skills; many would call him a tactician rather than a soldier.
With that, his eyes lured towards Hanako for a second, "Unfortunately we can't give him the antidote yet. I need answers, and if Mr.Tone doesn't hand them over soon then he'll be enduring the poison for a bit longer." Hunter's eyes glistened with interest. Hanako's rage and scream of the werewolf matter had caught him off guard, had he stood up Hunter would have immediately cast something to subdue him further. Yet, the interesting part was when he cut himself off. Hunter didn't take notice of the look of fear, but he was taking interest in the grumbles Hanako was saying. Whatever was going through Hanako's head was a clear clue on something, and Hunter finally gave an expression. A grin. A devious, sly, and bone-chilling grin that children sometimes gave. With that, Hunter knew he hit something, and Hanako must have known some parselmouths or werewolves at Hogwarts to give such a reaction: "If you could Ms.Nelson, please approach Mr.Tone and tell me what he's grumbling. I'm not in earshot and I'd rather not get close to him, but perhaps you can be of some assistance," Hunter's grin vanished, and a fake smile for Sophia appeared. "If you can help me, I promise I won't be of a nuisance to you or other students." With that, Hunter's eyes shifted back to Hanako, curious as to what words he was saying, "It seems I've struck a nerve, so I'll ask one more time and to give you the antidote Mr.Tone. What are the names of parselmouths or Werewolves that you know currently, that reside here at Hogwarts."

The way the older student - Mr. Tone, as Hunter referred to him - was looking at Sophia reminded her of the 'trip' scenes in the old comedies her Dad used to let her watch when Mom wasn't around. Obviously the boy wasn't actually on drugs, so Sophia could only assume that he was under the effects of the poison. Why was it affecting him so much more than it had affected Bubba?
Was it because Bubba had emptied his stomach fairly quickly upon ingesting it? That would make sense, but still. This boy was seemingly hallucinating, and strongly at that!
"Just a precaution, Hunter. I'm sure you can appreciate that. If you'll remember, you drew your wand on me last time."
She didn't even try to argue that she could handle him in a duel. Frankly, while she was on the dueling team's wait list, she still didn't have much confidence in her abilities to even cast most spells, let alone to actually duel someone.
She followed Hunter's eyes to Mr. Tone - while making a note to ask his first name: calling him Mr. Tone felt so informal - and winced at the poor boy's condition.
"I get you want information, Hunter. Knowledge is power, and all that, sure. Still, what kind of condition is he in? Is it the same doxy egg, belladonna mixture? If he's hallucinating, you won't even know that what he's saying makes any sense!"
Sophia reluctantly followed Hunter's commands. It wouldn't do to get herself jinxed, after all, and the last thing she needed was to stall for time when the poor boy was suffering on the ground.
She took slow, non-threatening steps toward Tone. As she reached his side, she whispered gently in his ear, stroking his hair in what she hoped was a comforting gesture with her right hand.
"It's going to be okay. We'll get you out of this, just relax. I'm here to help you," she whispered, praying silently that God would alleviate the boy's suffering at least. Though, it could be argued that that was the reason she was brought here, to be fair. Maybe alleviating his suffering was her duty?
She sighed.
If only there was a way she could slip him the antidote.
"Is there anything you can tell me that might satisfy him? Anything at all?" she asked hopefully. The antidote in her backpack felt heavier than it had any right to feel. Her hand was itching to grab it, but with Hunter's wand aiming for her, she didn't dare.
She could see the agitation on Tone's features, and she could only imagine the stomach pain and nausea, but she didn't need to imagine it after Bubba's horrible encounter. She watched him carefully, in case the hallucinations made him violent.

Bad Memory

English & Parseltongue
While the two Ravenclaw’s chatted away, this was the general gist that Hanako got from the situation: ' blablbablabla not in earshot blablabla hallucination' . With the pain distracting him from most things, he found it difficult to focus. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, since he conveniently missed out the part when ‘Nelson’ had mentioned the real ingredients in the ‘memory’ potion. Ignorance in bliss. And ignorance will certainly help Hanako not to hurl out his stomatch's contents.
“ Out of the way, brat “ he seethed harshly to the younger year. Surprisingly it was directed to the one that didn’t give him poison. Even when he had a hard time listening, he was well aware she was not his hero. If she was, then she would be blasting the hell out of that psycho, or call for help. It wasn’t like she was encouraging the other brat’s methods either. Her reluctant acceptance and disapproving gaze was more like a parent gently disapproving a child’s misdemeanor. Whatever it is, he decided it was only him that would be able to get himself out of this mess. The Ravenclaws’s weird relationship can be analyzed another time.
He let out another painful groan and messaged his temple. His shut eyes relieved him of the slight color distortion he was seeing. But didn’t do much to elevate the headache coming in. At least his stomach felt better. Kinda. Wouldn’t be that way for long.
‘ Think Hana, think. How do you get out of this? ‘
It was his mistake to dare hope that he even had hope to break out of this situation. Because no sooner, a headache enough to feel like his head was split open greeted him.
With no thoughts, head empty, and just pure unbridled wraith, he snapped.
“ I HAD IT!” the Slytherin boy hastily stood up, eyes dead set on the Ravenclaw sitting oh so safely away from the furious older year. “ I’M DONE WITH THIS. I GIVE IN. YOU WIN, YOU INCOMPETENT. LOWLY. SLEAZY. LYING LOSER. ARE YOU FINALLY SATISFIED?! NOW JUST SHUT UP AND GIVE ME THE- “
Whoops. It was a mistake to stand up so hurriedly and shout so suddenly. Turns out it wasn’t a good combo for his current state. Losing every energy he had in his legs, he stumbled backwards and onto the ground once more. He doesn’t even seem to have energy to look angry anymore. Just terribly exhaustingly frustrated.
At the very least, he had made his answer very clear. Even with the distance between them, a lot of energy (and malice) was seeped into every word Hanako said. Though in a language that is most likely foreign to the other boy. Perhaps the way it sounded a lot like bone chilling aggressive hissing could give him a good idea.
Nevertheless, Hanako was close to being KO-ed. Or puking. Whichever ones comes first. It was clear he was not in a good state to elaborate or answer more questions. And not anytime soon unless someone helped him put him out of his misery.

Bad Memory
Hunter listened to Sophia's words, listening carefully. The voice of reason or rather a voice of humanity of hope and courage. Perhaps the girl's way of life, views, and words was beginning to shape Hunter and cause him to rethink. Still, though, he needed to be careful and watchful of what was - “I’M DONE WITH THIS. I GIVE IN. YOU WIN, YOU INCOMPETENT. LOWLY. SLEAZY. LYING LOSER. ARE YOU FINALLY SATISFIED?! NOW JUST SHUT UP AND GIVE ME THE- “
Despite keeping a safe distance, Hanako's random outburst and standing caused Hunter to jerk his wand and point it straight at Hanako for a second or two. Was the poison not strong enough? Did Hanako really have enough energy to come hurling a spell or possibly attempt a punch at Hunter? The boy's heart was beating fast, he hadn't taken everything into account but he was certain... certain he was right. To which he was.
As Hanako fell to the ground, Hunter could only freeze in place. It wasn't of astonishment, but rather he was still gripped by fear. The loud outburst of serpent-like sounds was really unaccounted for. It seemed Hunter got really lucky this time, and found partially what he was looking for. Notes, information, and knowledge on the students of Hogwarts. Who to trust, who to keep a distance from, and who had unique bloodlines. Whether a mix of wizard and magic races, a dark history to develop odd abilities, or a sickness to turn men into the beat, Hunter had to figure out who or rather what everyone was. He snickered a little, a bit of his cockiness in confirmation that he made the poison just strong enough.
The biggest issue is Hunter never really heard Parseltongue before, but the sounds coming from Hanako certainly had an off-tone of a serpentine description. Hunter was honestly fascinated, curious at most from the sounds. His snicker developed into a smile and eventually vanished as he sighed. His hands were still shaky as fear always took hold of the boy, but he was regaining his confidence slowly. He spoke, his voice a bit shaky: "Gave me a scare there! Haha!" It was most likely a feeling of euphoria that one feels on a roller coaster or when going through a haunted mansion. Hunter's mellow and calm facade was broken, and only happiness from a revelation and adrenaline from a yelling upper year coursed through his body.
He walked over to Hanako, closing the distance of safety while ignoring Sophia the whole time. Hunter took out his own vial of an antidote to common poison and placed it near Hanako. "With rest, you'll be fine, this will speed up the process of ridding all the ailments." Hunter couldn't help but smile, for he felt like he actually won. Beating an upper year certainly made the boy's self-ego grow rather large: "Till we meet again Mr.Tone the Parselmouth." To which Hunter stood up, and walked away. He took swift note in his own journal of Hanako's traits. He was gonna use this to his advantage as best he could. Whether it be blackmail or something along the lines of finding other Parselmouths, Hunter was glad he met Hanako on this day.

Bad Memory

The world truly was spinning
Now truly exhausted of any energy he had, Hanako’s last thoughts tried their best to keep their grip on consciousness. You can’t plan how to anniliate anyone once you’re dead. And he’ll be damned if he dies before Hunter ( the immense anger added with Hana’s life flashing before his eyes had made him remember the Ravenclaw’s name ) got what’s coming to him.
With what little consciousness he has, he gathered that Hunter stepped closer to him. God, was this kid for real? He better not be attacking Hanako while he was this defenceless. That was low, even for the poison maker. Instead of any physical attacks, Hanako sensed Hunter placed something near him. With eyes closed, he couldn’t really see what was placed, but he heard something along the lines of ‘be fine’ and ailments. Could it be? The antidote?
Okay, perhaps he really was not ready to die today just yet. With whatever energy he had, he rolled his body to the side before pushing himself to sit. Grabbed the potion in one swipe and opened it before drinking it. It certainly tasted better than the last potion. And he didn’t feel worse. With luck, perhaps this really was the antidote and not another poison to officialy knock him out. Still, he was so weak he couldn’t open his eyes.
"Till we meet again Mr.Tone the Parselmouth."
Oh wow, he could hear things again. That was a good sign. Hanako hung his head low the whole time but did manage to lift up one arm to give a final goodbye wave to Hunter. But instead of a wave, it was a gesture that was considered incredibly crude in many countries. Still, it was well deserved.
‘ Oh yes, we’ll certainly meet again, brat. I’ll make sure of that ‘
And with that motivation in mind, Hanako laid flat back on the ground once more.
