Closed Battle of the Boys pv Nick (Quinn), Colin, and Pea

Colin's heart was still pounding! His first broom race had been awesome; and after the events of earlier in the summer, the skirmishes, bonnet racing on his seanmamó's motor car with Sophia Nelson at the wheel and jamming on the velocitator, Colin only felt a curious need for speed and action the more acutely!

He'd been healed of the hurts he'd suffered during the race, but managed to cajole the healer to leave him with a couple souvenirs to remind him of the powerful nature of magic and its potential to cause great harm even while it exhilarates. He'd been lucky, he thought, to even be here! His summer was supposed to be spent closer to home, but a late owl from Opeila, the Brisk Basilisks' captain, informed him that he must be ready to come to London for the broom race on August twentieth. He was excited, because he was hoping to see the gang either before or after the race.

And so Colin wandered along, admiring the views of the London Quidditch Stadium. Quidditch wasn't his game, but he briefly wondered what it would be like to fly in this huge space, with all four tiers of the vast amphitheatre filled to roaring capacity! He knew some of his friends loved the game, and he figured Hunter for a quidditch player after Hogwarts for sure.

And then there was the race itself! Colin wasn't quite sure if his heart was still pounding so fast because of the after effects of zooming through such a life threatening obstacle course or if it was a certain someone who was zooming along nearby...

Colin thought about her. Clair. He'd never met her before, but he knew she was a smart and studious Ravenclaw. He knew through Fyre Angel that she was Simon's friend, which meant to Colin that she must be super nice. And God, wasn't she beautiful flying the course! Colin felt more like a wild creature of the chase, sprinting just to remain alive, next to her poise and confidence through the course. His heart felt pierced when she was hurt and he felt almost traitorous when she escaped some trap or obstacle. So much for frying the Chickenfeather racing team!

Colin laughed aloud as he walked through the stadium. Had he just fallen for the rival broom racer? He knew the feeling from before, when he'd met Jarael, but this was so much stronger! Different in many ways; less about the spirit and more about the heart. Colin determined there and then to try and meet her!

Colin shook out his long mane of green and black hair and raised his broom into the air! Tipping his head back he cried out her name as if it were a song of triumph!

CLAAAAAAAAIIIIIIRRRRR FEEEERRRRNNNNAAAANNNNDEZ!!!!

Per normal Nick was in a very good mood. He made his way to the stadium, with his cleansweep 3. Mop, in hand. He was planning on doing a bit of flying, the last game he played was very exciting! And he wanted to practice. He was humming the tune to a song by Michael Jackson, the song was Billie Jean. He liked that song.

He was looking at his broom just about ready when he heard someone sobbing. They were in the middle of the stadium, not sure what was happening he ran to the boy. He had heard a few of his siblings make that sound. He knew that he was probably sad. He ran up to him and tapped him on the shoulder " Hey dude, are you ok?" he asked.

Now it definitely wasn't any of his business, but he was definitely sad. 'Oh god. What if he didn't want to be talked to? '

He was about to say something else before he heard someone cry out. "What the- why is everyone here so weird.. " he let out a sigh. He wanted to go home, it was fun here. Be so god dam confusing. People screaming, then that dare. Nick still didn't know what that guy wanted. Then that girl in spin the bottle. He kissed her cheek, and she got so.. Flustered. He did feel a bit bad.

He shook his head. Thinking it was just a wizard thing, if he found another Muggle born. Maybe thing would start to make a bit of sense.

But that was not what mattered now! He looked back at the boy, who was probably older then him. Waiting for a response.

She is as usual feeling a little.. bored. Nope actually- she’s reeaaally- bored. Today has just been the most boring day in her entire life. Where is the drama- the tea- the tention?? usually, those things would pursue her everywhere. Most of the time, wherever this white-haired girl goes- trouble used to follow. But today, nothing! nothing at all. BORING. Maybe…she should be the one to cause some problems.

She visits the middle of the stadium and looks for a situation where she can dip her head in, and possibly make things worse. When noises came in her ear.

"CLAAAAAAAAIIIIIIRRRRR FEEEERRRRNNNNAAAANNNNDEZ!!!!"

Where on earth is that awful sound coming from? she look up at the sky and saw a boy riding a broom shouting and singing happily. A familiar boy, wearing an all-green outfit who looks just like Salazar Slytherin has just puked on him. A fellow snake eh? but what on earth is he doing? She is usually much more biased towards the people in her house, and she is already used to just turning a blind eye when they do anything stupid. So she chooses to ignore the boy. Then she continues deeper into the stadium. As a sob filled her ear from the direction of the middle of the stadium. Huh, it seems that she doesn't have to work hard to cause some trouble today, after all, the trouble is already happening.

"What is this idiot doing?" She said to another person looking concerned at the boy laying down and crying in the middle of the stadium having a full breakdown. She looks at him with a little bit of distaste in her eyes. But~ she still likes to know why that boy is behaving that.. embarrassingly. She wonders if it's connected to the cheering Slytherin she saw seconds ago. Now that she remembers it, she thinks the Slytherin boy is screaming about someone's name. A girl perhaps? Oh interesting, is this a lovers quarrel? Her day just got so much in-te-res-ting~ As someone who enjoys spending her time listening to gossip and drama, this is a touch of spice she's been waiting for all summer.

"Is this perhaps.... relates to someone name Clair Fernandez?" She looks at the sobbing boy squinting her eyes to see whether her deduction is true. She remembers hearing that name from the Slytherin boy earlier- she hopes it's true because it sure is going to be an interesting turn of events.

Edward mumbled under his breath. "I hate you so much guy who decided to be a freak by bellowing out my girlfriend's name." He wasn't ready to admit that Clair has officially left him. But she did, and wrote one hell of a letter- but even then- that wasn't enough. He tried to cast the slowing charm on the boy, howling in anger that it didn't succeed. It wasn't "worth a shot" it had to be a success or else! HE NEEDED CLAIR TO LOVE HIM! He loved Clair, but when he gets shunned in the end, he knows its time to admit defeat, but now, it wasn't the time.

"SCREW YOU. GO AWA-" He shouted, coming to tears as the firemaking spell hit the boy. "Noooo!" He cried, heavily. This was extremely painful, as the boy put himself between love- and trying to murder anyone who could've possibly been taking Clair away from him.

He sobbed in blistering pain, the howls of anguish left his lips, the vocal cords inside him vibrated violently. "NOOOO! CLAIR FERNANDEZ! I LOVE YOU! NOOOO! END THIS PAIN! HELP ME! END THIS GOD DAMN PAIN! IT HURTS SO MUCH! HELP ME!" He never was hit by the firemaking spell- and to be honest, the boy might be taking it a little too far and too dramatically.

Colin came back down to earth from his musings on Clair Fernandez and noticed that his housemate Pea and some foreign boy were watching some other foreign boy having a fit about something. "I hate you so much guy who decided to be a freak by bellowing out my girlfriend's name." the boy had mumbled. And almost immediately after, he shouted: "SCREW YOU. GO AWA-"

"What did you say!?" Colin wasn't sure how to take the boy's words. He had no idea who this kid was or why he was so angry! Was he mad? Was he in a fight with his girlfriend? He could only assume this unknown boy was addressing him, because, well, he'd just bellowed out the name of the broom racer he'd fallen for during the race! "Do you mean Clair? My God, she's brilliant! Did you see the way she ally ooped her mate! That girl can fly!" Colin sighed deeply, still smiling. "I'm sure I'm falling in love with her!". His heart raced as he stared at the other boy!

What Colin wasn't expecting was for him to yank out his wand and begin an attack! His quick reflexes resulted in him drawing his own wand from his kilt pocket and not for the first time he was thankful for Olivander's making him a short, quick manoeuvering wand! Almost before he could think, the boy shouted out a charm! Arresto momentum!? Colin had heard of that one, but had no idea how to cast it. The only other people around were Pea and the other unknown boy.

He looked at Pea pleadingly, hoping she'd catch on to the danger! Thankfully his attacker's spell fizzled. Colin aimed and shouted back: "Incendio!" He could feel the magic focus through his own wand and a gout of orange and red flame struck the boy full on! Ignoring the boy's yelps and cries, Colin sought to stand with Pea as it seemed the two boys would face against them.

So she was right! This is indeed a lover's quarrel. Ve-ry in-ter-es-ting~

The boy who was whimpering on the floor started to spiel some nonsense to her fellow Slytherin she saw previously shouting a girl's name. Now that she takes a closer look at him, she finally recalls his name, 'Colin'(?) wasn't it? Pea knows in all this nonsense, she would side with her fellow Slytherin whether he was in the right or wrong. But before she knows it, the weirdo already pointing a wand at Colin, and shooting a slowing charm at her fellow snake- but missed.

Gasping, Pea put her palm over her mouth in a dramatic way, while actually thrilled at the drama that is about to go down. But before she knew it, Colin also shoot a spell at the foreign boy, a fire-making spell! This time the spell didn't miss and hit the weeping boy immediately. Marvelous job by Colin! She was impressed. Pea smirked as she saw Colin triumphantly hit the weirdo. Now that she's seeing a duel about to go down, Pea immediately came to Colin's side, ready to be aiding him in this fight. Pea pulled out her wand and pointed it at the ground, casting the smokescreen spell to create a thick fog surrounding them.

"Fumos." She whispered. Smoke started to fill the middle of the stadium, fogging up the place so it is harder for them to see. This should create more drama~ she thought. Pea looks at Colin, smirking as their gaze is knowingly ready to cast more spells at the weirdo and possibly another weirdo that's aiding him. This is certainly a very entertaining turn of events.

The battle is heating up quickly. After that successful first attack by Colin, her adrenaline has risen. She is determined to cast a jinx at someone, but the fog she created is still hazing up the place. Was that a bad idea on her end-? whatever, at least they have this dramatic ambiance now. After the fog has dispersed a little bit, she saw the blonde boy point his wand again, but oddly, it was not to attack, but to cast more fog! Oh- he probably needs some time to get a hold of himself after getting hit by that fire spell. She guessed she will give him pity, and she could attack his partner instead~

Pea points her wand at another boy on the field. Casting Incendio at him- but she didn't realize that Colin is also casting a spell at him, a knockback Jinx, that causes the boy to repel on the air. She was impressed... but also annoyed that now her spell didn't find its target because of that.

Pea rolls her eyes as she is disappointed that her spell miss. But oh well, at least her Slytherin partner successfully hit his target. And there is always another chance to cast another spell. Pea looks at Colin with her usual sly smile, "Not bad McCoire."
