Howard had been dreading this letter that he was about to send. Not that he was afraid of the reaction he might receive from its intended recipient, he could handle that, but it would be a reminder of an event that he now fully regretted. However, there was no way to move on without facing it head first and although he may not receive forgiveness, he must at least try if he wished to accomplish his future goals.

There is no easy way to go about this and I understand if you have no wish to speak with me, but if you would allow it I would like to meet with you and have a private conversation. A long time has passed, but I wish to apologize for my actions against the Headliner and apologize to you personally. There is too much that I wish to say and I am not capable enough of a writer to express myself properly in written word, so I will wait until I can hopefully speak with you in person. If you will agree to a meeting with me, please let me know when and where would be convenient for you.
