Too many books
Athena looked around in awe as she stepped into the library. As a Ravenclaw, it wasn't strange how excited she became when seeing all of the books, but she thought that everyone would react the same if they walked into this room. She continued forward and went right up to the closest bookshelf. She ran her hands over them, there are so many! She chose one at random and pulled it out. It was old, but not dusty at all. Either someone had read this book recently, or the librarian make sure to clean the bookshelfs often. She carefully turned the book around to read the title. "Powers You Never Knew You Had and What to Do with Them Now You’ve Wised Up." She chuckled slightly. She hadn't expected such a mouthful of a title. But it actually sounded really interesting. She grabbed the book and headed for the fireplace located at the other side of the room. She sat down in one of the armchairs and opened the book. She liked reading in the library, more so than in her common room. It was much more quiet here. She couldn't understand how the Gryffindors could get anything done in their common room, from what she had heard there was always crazy stuff going on there.
Anyways, back to the book. It was actually really interesting, although it had a lot of hard words she didn't understand. A lot of magical words too. She wondered if there was some sort of magical dictionary, that would be really useful right now. But she was to cozy right now, in front of the fireplace, so she just shrugged it of and continued reading as best she could.

Too many books
About half an hour later, she closed the book. Her eyes felt sore, like they did when she read to long, especially if the books were hard too read. She had read the first few chapters, but after a while the book had become very repetetive and a bit boring. She thought that she maybe could finish it sometimes, but the book wasn't good enough to borrow it from the library. She could of course choose Hogwarts: A history, even though she had almost read the entire thing, you could always read it again and notice things you didn't before, or just to freshen up your memory.
She found the spot that she had taken the book from and put it back. Then she ventured farther into the library. The shelves were really tall, but she couldn't see any ladders to help reach the books higher up. She figured she would have to wait until she learned Accio or Wingardium Leviosa to get the books down from there. Instead, she studied the books that she could reach. Now she was in the mood for a book about magical creatures. She liked animals, but not over the top. Magical creatures are as an addition very interesting too, so that's a big plus for Athena.

Fantastics Beast and where to find them, by Newt Scamander had touched lightly on he subject, but she wanted to read more in depth of it, so this was perfect! She went back to her armchair and started reading. It was filled with both facts, and interesting stories about people who had been killed or petrified by the basilisk, how one was created and of course all about its deathly stare. This book was better than the first one and she got engulfed by it.

Too many books
Athena glanced at her watch. It was an magical watch that she had gotten on her tenth birthday from her mother and that she loved dearly. The clock was much more than she had thought, but it wasn't actually that strange, her eyes were even more sore than before and her head had started to throb. Luckily, the book about basilisks hadn't been very long, and she was a quick reader, otherwise she would have had to be here the entire night. Now she had time to find a book she could borrow from the library before she had to be back in her common room. She was still amazed at the huge shelves that the room was filled with.
She glanced at the restricted section. She had so many interesting books here, so she didn't feel a need to be in there, but she was still a bit curious. She tried to not think about it, the worst thing she could do right now was to go in there and get caught. She really didn't want to get detention the first thing she did when she came to Hogwarts. She had never been much of a rule breaker anyways, she didn't like thought of potentioally getting caught. She didn't like to disappiont people, because she felt so much guilt when she did.
She started looking for an interesting book in the rest of the library. Just that wasn't very hard, the hard part was to choose which of the interesting books to borrow. She choose two, one that was about a muggle that had the ability to talk to animals, and therefore got taken in by the wizards to be studied. The other one, much thinner, was about potions that were mind sharpening in different ways. She wanted to get a bit ahead in her studies, so she could impress her teachers and peers. She went up to the librarians desk and borrowed the books, and then she waked happily out of the library. It had been one of the best library trips she could remember, which isn't very weird, considering this is an magical library.
